Hello folks. I'm creating this post in the hopes of getting your take on this situation I found myself in. I generally play casinos for awhile, then close my account and move to another, never really keeping more than 1 or 2 casino accounts open to help myself control how much I play and spend. Recently, I signed up for this casino called Luckyzino, a sweepstakes casino in US. After trying them for awhile, I realized I didn't really care for the casino and wanted to close the account. I went to live support, and after finally getting in touch with someone they told me it was a 30 day wait time to close the account, and any time I spin even once or make even a single bet, I will have to request the account be closed again and wait another 30 days.
As of today, that is not something I have ever seen or heard of. To me it seems like the rule is there for one purpose, which is to make it very difficult for problem gamblers or any gamblers to close their account, and to keep them playing more. A question that came to mind for me was is that technically legal for a casino to do? I thought there were rules in place about having to close the account if it was requested rather immediately? Thanks, Typ
