Tried it last week and the Gigablox version seems too volatile to me. The original has a much better balanced play in the base game and the bonus seems to be easier to trigger.

Maybe I was just unlucky but I don't know if I will give this new version another go.

Good Morning, Thanks for trying it out! Yes, you are right 90k Yeti is more volatile than the first 9k Yeti (I will edit the first post and add this). This is partly due to the GIGABLOX and the way we worked with the mechanic. Like you said though luck also does have a big part to play in it.

Sorry to hear you have not had any luck triggering the Free Spins bonus yet.

The snow is a way of varying the number of ways, with up to 46,656 ways to win! In the base game, the Yeti can destroy Snow Blox to increase the number of ways on any spin and can also summon big Gigablox, including the mighty 6x6 block that can fill the screen with a 46,656 way win!
The Free Spins Bonus is played with the max ways so no snow.

I quite liked the original game and wanted to give this one a try, and i did a couple of nights ago - but for a long time now, i have endless loading issues with anything related to Yggdrasil. game starts loading and itll either stop or you get the 'your connection is poor' message.. eventually ill get it to load and everything is running in the background, and i then get the 'your connection is poor' message appears forcing you to reload.

oh, sorry to hear about that - it is the first time we have heard of such issues, will speak to Yggdrasil. If ok I will message for some basic spec info to see if we can pinpoint the problem.

Just to clarify, we are just on the Yggdrasil games platform (like we are on Relax and Scientific Games). We are a different company, only saying as some people assume we are Yggdrassil.

Yeah its a problem thats been around for me for quite a long time now - i can get some of their games to load (and obviously yours with the original yeti game), but sometimes it can take multiple refreshes for the load bar to complete and play the game without error - but also i will keep getting the 'your connection/error loading' error popping up before it completed loading, or even when its finished quite often.

Yeah i understand you aren't Yggdrasil themselves I just noticed the loading errors and i know i had the same issue with Yggdrasils own games.

(just to add, i dont usually have problems loading anything on mobile devices - it just seems to be desktop - but i rarely play on mobile)

To be fair the game does have like 29 different bonus buy options.
It does seem to be able to dish out hits without using them, but it still puts me off a bit.

Sorry to hear having them in-game puts you off. We offer them as a lot of players enjoy them - we got asked to add them to our games. To make them more player-centric we allow multiples of the lowest stake - unlike a lot of providers.

That said we do also appreciate a lot of players do not use them and some markets cannot offer them, so we ensure they can be disabled or not used without an impact on the game. Hopefully these base game, non-buy wins help highlight this

Did not see a single freespin scatter, triggering the bonus without buying it felt about as likely as meeting a real life yeti, which is what ive come to expect from games offering bonus buys, and its the reason i avoid them.
I dont expect a guaranteed bonus in such a low number of spins, but not even seeing a scatter is disheartening.

Worst of all, can not spin on spacebar. =(

Finally managed to get this to load this evening on novibet. Id only deposited £10 just to have a play and seeing as i finally got this to load, thought id give it a go.

First few spins gave me a near 30x win.. Then after that it ran my balance down to zero with a few small < 5x kinda wins. No free spins or such - saw the free spin blocks appear a few times but not enough to trigger it. Did the stompy thing two or three times and changed the blank snow blocks, but was mostly the small wins.

Think i lasted around 10 minutes

Will give it another go at some point , not sure yet - seems ok, obviously volatile! lol

I've noticed the same behaviour on other Gigablox games, matter of fact on most Yggdrasil games you'll see that even if they're regular ones. It must be the mechanic of the software.

Yes, i assumed it would be brutal.
Thats why its just a preliminary score, i will return and give it another try sometime.

One thing i noticed is that this game, despite being probably the most high volatile release from you so far also has the lowest rtp% out of all of your releases.
I think that is an unfortunate combination, because this slot if any could really make use of that extra 1%.

In this particular case, you cannot get 6 consecutive Qs vertically on the reels unless a 6x6giga block lands. Consecutive symbols do feature on the reel strips and fairly frequently on 1 wide reels but not 6 consecutive Qs.

You are however correct that it is possible theoretically to land a full screen of symbols using smaller reels and without landing a single 6x6 block, but in this case, it is not.
