Question A Memory Quiz - How Many Closed Casinos Can You Remember?

So back in 2014-16 was probably the peak availability of online casinos, from a UK perspective in terms of quantity, because then a UKGC license became necessary so many either closed or stopped servicing UK.

So I was wondering if the forum members could recall names of those now defunct casinos, that's whether they were UK-facing or took players from other European countries too. So we are talking any casino that any forum member recalls whichever country they reside in.

I'm starting with a few I remembered this evening: Midaur, Caribic and Barbados. Oh, and BGO.

I reckon there could be over 100 before we run out of them, possibly even more.

Actually, there was a casino called Spin & Win (I'm not sure if it still exists now under the ownership of Rank or not) whereby I was sent cheques drawn on the Ulster Bank. That's the only casino that ever paid me like that. Actually, they still do exist because they are on my site lol and d'oh! but I'm wondering as Spinandwin could be different to the Spin & Win that I played at 15 years ago.

As for Guts casino, I think everyone knows how bad that casino was with their constant repeated harassing and requesting of ID every other day. You get verified which taken them days to do and they confirm it via mail you are now verified to then a few days or week later you again get asked for the same ID yet again. I got asked like 5 times over the period of a few months and that was enough for me to close my account with that weird dodgy casino.

What happened with Vera & John again? I can not recall exactly? did they just stop taking UK customers once the UKGC was born?

Such a shame I did like that casino.

I think Stan James was bought by Unibet, and JenningsBet is still around though its on a different platform now than it was originally.
