I am having a nightmare right now with this group as a whole.
Firstly I will ask this question. So Entain Group owns MGM Resorts International? and MGM Resorts International owns LeoVegas Group correct? (This will be important once I explain what has happened below)
Let me start with what caused all this issue I have had since last night.
So I saw someone mention in a thread on here about slot contests at Ladbrokes Casino to which no one even replied or helped. But after some searching and not being able to find them on the Ladbrokes homepage I then just googled Ladbrokes slot contests, that gave me the direct link to that page. When I went to that page it said you have to opt in. There was no opt in button.
Anyway I stopped caring about it and then last night I decided to chase it up so I contacted Live Chat at ladbrokes and they informed me that my promotions and slot contest access was restricted because of a self exclusion I did at Coral Casino like before the UKGC was born.
I always wondered why I never had emails or any free spins or promotions at Ladbrokes. I also could not even see the button for promotions on their homepage until like a few days ago a button appeared next to the deposit button top right. I clicked that and that took me to the promotions and slot contest page.
Anyway the live chat told me to ring the customer protection team to sort this out so they can remove the restrictions on my Ladbrokes account so I can get promotions and be able to play the slot contests.
So I rang them and they told me I would need to do a reactivation process by answering questions. I did all that and they said they would then remove the expired self exclusion from the Coral account and that should then enable the promotions again on my Ladbrokes account. They then asked me to set a loss limit on my Ladbrokes account which I did. Then after that phone call ended I went back to live chat to confirm something he mentioned and this is where even more confusion started. This live chat agent told me that the promotion and slot contest restrictions would not be lifted. Which got me really annoyed and confused more because it completely contradicted what I was told by the guy on the phone in the customer protection team.
So I then rang the customer protection team back again and got them to again confirm it. They did confirm it again and they said that live chat agent was obviously not looking at the correct information or is misinformed. So while I was on the phone still, I then went back to the live chat at the same time and got a new agent called AJ who then confirmed what they told me on the phone. They will be lifted once it is done. (that was the end of it I thought - But no just wait) - I was able to do a few deposits and play fine at Ladbrokes as well even after this reactivion.
Then come this morning I tried to goto ladbrokes to do a deposit but I was logged out which is strange because when I open ladbrokes site it auto logs me in, so I tried logging in and it said my account was blocked. So I went to live chat to ask why and they said because of the review and reactivation you did. I said but I thought that was to do with the Coral account reactivation? I was not told the reactivation was going to be done on my Ladbrokes account. But it actually was done on my ladbrokes account.
Anyway I was then told to wait for an email once the review was done. So about 8am I had an email from Ladbrokes that said limits was set on my account, then a few mins later another email to say that a 24 timeout cooldown period was set on my account. Yes I get this is normal practise but it mentioned nothing about if I will get access back to promotions and slot contests.
So I decided to ring the customer protection team again and they confirmed again to me that yes they will be enabled for me once the timeout ends tomorrow morning. I said ok thats good then what if they are not when I login tomorrow. He said ring us back again and we will sort it for you but he said you should not need to because he could see on his end they are now enabled for me. He also confirmed that they closed the Coral account as well.
So then I decided to register at BetMGM because I liked the look of that welcome offer deposit and wager £10 for 200 Wager free spins on a big bass slot from prag.
So the moment I created that account it got instantly suspended. So I went to live chat to ask why and they explained that it was because of a review that was going on?
They would not even say what that review was? Was it the review that was already done on my Ladbrokes/Coral account? or what? I googled "what group is BetMGM in" it came back as Entain Group. But then live chat told me that they was operated by LeoVegas Group. So I then googled "what group is BetMGM UK in" It then shown as LeoVegas Group. But then I googled "who owns LeoVegas Group" the result was MGM Resorts International?
Anyway so they told me that they suspended it because I have to provide a SoW? But it made sense the moment they mentioned LeoVegas. Because I had that issue with Leovegas all those years ago. Where I made a thread about it on this forum at the time. It took them so long to verify my SoW for them then to ask me again not long after it was at that moment I told them to close my account. Disgusting group honestly.
So now I am totally confused. Is that BetMGM account I created linked to that reactivation I did on my ladbrokes account last night? or was it because I closed my Leovegas account before I completed the second SoW request at Leovegas all those years ago?
I am so sorry for this very very long post. But I wanted to explain exactly how it all went down in full detail.
