Been lurking for a while and finally decided to sign up and post.

Please tell me where to post this as it’s really been stressing me out!!

I’m having an issue with Entain changing my loss/deposit limits and I’m not sure where to ask for advice?

I had one drunk night where I didn’t have much control. I wasn’t in a good headspace, I will admit, and I had more money available to me than usual - but I kept my limits low for a reason. I’m not going to be homeless or hungry but my mental health is fucked because I had limits set specifically🥲


I had a monthly loss limit of £350 set in November 2023, which was then increased to £400 on 27/02/2025 (supposedly across the brands as a ladbrokes rep confirmed the date but the email is from gala and says it’s cross platform, I also spoke to a coral agent who said my loss limit was £350 on her system. Coral/ladbrokes/gala has had a combined £350 loss limit as long as I can remember).

My February deposit limit for ladbrokes was £300 according to the rep but I apparently deposited £1,287 - my last withdrawal from ladbrokes was in 2024 so it can’t be a loss limit adjustment. I’ve had some luck on gala but like basically breaking even/covering an extra takeaway a month, nothing like that - and now I can’t get into any accounts to view my history.

I still have the original email saying my limits wouldn’t be increased without documentation, but I’ve found months that don’t match up to the sporadic emails with limits that they have sent, and emails that just say ‘it’s been updated’. I also have the email that says any chance to my limits needs documents, and I won’t have sent those due to legal issues (happy to explain to mods).

My ladbrokes account supposedly had a £5k loss limit before it was reduced to £100, with no information about the increase on their system, and my foxy accounts now have a 100K deposit cap and like £15k loss limit but are only linked to bwin. Which has the same address, email, name and birthday as all my other accounts.

There are so many discrepancies and I’m really in knots about this. I’m waiting on some info from them about monthly losses since my £350 limit was set, also info on all changes to my deposit and loss limits.

This isn’t including the BWIN and Foxy accounts that are under the same name, email, birthday, address….. foxy let me deposit a good 5 figures in one month. BWIN let me deposit 5 figures in a week I think.

I would only ask for any deposits minus withdrawals from the time my limit was adjusted - if I won I’d have kept it and said nothing, so I’m not going to take the piss. I know I was drinking but my limits were my limits and it takes 24h!!!

Any advice on how to handle it beyond all that?
 
BTW I am aware I have to set separate deposit limits for each site. My loss limit was set by Entain, and when I asked to increase it, they asked for documents. I didn’t sent enough and didn’t bother increasing it.
