Hopefully a bit of fun for a Monday, but I would like to know if you are only allowed to pick one slot game to play until the day you kick the bucket, which one is it.

Now, I know this is not going to be easy, as there are some 25k slots out there at present, but I think this could lead to some interesting answers.

I'm going old skool, my pick is 🦬 Buffalo from Aristocrat. It's simple, fun, exciting, prone to streakyness, but some great winning possibilities in the feature. The sounds and the animations are not enough to drive me mad too early on into my one-and-done experience

So, what are your one-and-done slots?

Out of curiosity, what is it about this game that makes it a one-and-done?

1.) The game's design is easy on the eyes.. colors and visuals aren't overpowering.

2.) The game plays well. Tons of small wins, with the potential for monster hits.

3.) The game has a fun gamble feature when triggering the bonus. You can either take the minimum spins or gamble for more. If you happen to reach a certain threshold, you'll be guaranteed at least that amount of spins if you happen to choose the answer incorrectly.. it's not "choose right or lose everything".

While incredibly hard to achieve 50 free spins when gambling for more, it can be done. In fact, The Bandit recently gambled all the way to 50 spins and reached an incredible 30X+ multiplier. It can happen.

@conker
This is my answer as well.

I like millionaire for the same reasons as @X-Raided chose it, in fact it inspired me to make myself a sequel, because lets face it if BTG did it would be rubbish.

Mine has many core elements of the original, IMO a few improvements on the original, (eg shows you the real answer when you collect rather than always showing it was the highest!) and some extra new bits including a new feature mechanic, you know, just what a sequel should deliver, but of course im just bias as its my game but my gambling buddies really like it.

What? you made a slot?

I take it is just for you and your friends to play offline? For obvious copyright issues you could never get that slot online or be able to play it for real in any casinos. Maybe rogue casinos might actually list it though haha. But nice looking slot. I would love to try it.

If I really had to pick one I would say Buffalo Toro from Elk Studios.

Mainly because I love the soothing sounds it makes and the teasing - but it can be so dead in the base game and yes it is a very scripted slot. Like when you do land a bonus you know you will always be guaranteed a win of about 20X or more.

The graphics are also nice and even the Toro animations and sounds of the Toro is also nice. I just play that slot far to much already so yes I would choose that one.

But if I was allowed to pick a slot that was no longer around it would be Lord of the rings from MG.

Yeah I have made hundreds of slots or slot sims you could also call them, I used to own/run the now defunked reelsoffun website, I have made a couple of physical real land based games on the barcrest MPU5 tech many years ago now, and have had a hand in many aspects of the gaming industry. People still pay me to make slot games for there PCs so they can design there own etc but thats quite niche now, and more of a hobby, but i have always loved slot math and mechanics :)

And this thread is already surprising me loads with peoples choices for only one slot forever some of the choices so far i wouldnt play more than once let alone forever LOL great thread!

That is pretty cool.

I mean conker wanted us to pick one. So I did, if Elk actually did a sequel to Buffalo Toro then I would probably choose that as long as it was much better and it improved upon Buffalo Toro 1. I even asked Sebbe who worked for CD who then got a job at Elk as product owner to make a Buffalo Toro 2 and he said that is something that could happen. That is all he said though.

I mean I just love that slot. But Elk is known to be the most low paying scripted provider. And also very hard to land bonuses as well. I just do not know why I love buffalo toro so much but I do.

I mean for me for a improved buffalo toro slot it would need to be less scripted and also have expanding reels. (Pay table symbol pays MUST stay the same as the original - Toro feature must be even more fun and maybe add multis to the Matedors that land - again this is a similar mechanic on other toro slots from elk that also has multis)

The expanding reels could be a random feature that triggers when you land a toro and it does not guarantee the reels expands. So for example when a toro lands it does a sound and a pause that could trigger the expanding reels. The reels could expand to random amount upto 7 high.

The feature again would need to stay identical and same for the impossible to trigger super bonus. Only difference is the expanding reels feature could land more often in the free spins/super free spins.

That is what I think would be a huge improvement on the original. I shut up now.

Well as for the scripting its pretty much impossible to do those sort of complex games any other way im guessing. Personally i dont touch Elk, never bonus early, and when bonus they never seem to pay. Never won on them ever, its one provider i have never understood how they stay in business if they play for everyone the same as me. In fact you seem to be the only person I have encounted that seems to like them, but we all like different things which is good or it would be well boring.

I only like Buffalo Toro slot from them. It is the only slot that I do ok on sometimes. Yes I see the same old scripted mechanics like all other Elk slots but I do still like this one only. I just wished it was less scripted.

Airplane by WMS! Expanding wilds and the airplane bonus is a big pick feature bonus that contains other good bonuses hidden within the seat picks! Oh no, altitude's descending, aaahh ahhh we're going to crash! Hold on!

This one is a very hard one. But I am surprising myself here, when I state Immortal Romance. Yep, even moreso than the original Thunderstruck, Gladiator and Great Blue from Playtech, or the original Tomb Raider.

Immortal Romance IMO was Microgaming at their absolute peak. Sadly imo went downhill from there.

Great slot, great features, superb animations and sound track. It had it all.

Slayers inc (bonus buy version) - the game has everything, bonuses scalled up, when the five vs hits you know its going to pay something good.

Savannah Sunrise always be my favorite...I won 15K on a £5 Spin. Free Games was 3x bet and I got the Elephants which pay 1k 2 lion with a 2x and 3x........15x altogether, such a shame Intercasino closed.

Tough one.

For my most regular, often and decent wins it would be big bass Halloween 2.

For the hope of landing huge 5 wild buffalo 2
Big Bass Halloween 2 is my fave out of the 3 big bass halloween slots but it can sometimes take it's time to give a feature and you gotta leave it and come to it later, was playing it today, early 20x base in first 10 spins so thought ok it's going to go and give a feature soon but no feature in 284 spins (12 double scatter teases) and balance dropped 205x (I clearly overstayed)
went to play other bass games such as Big Bass Halloween 3 that gave a feature on only 30th spin, 82x not bad then played on but no more features on it then moved to Bigger Bass Splash, gave 2 features 59x (level up+extra spins) and 133x (more fish) not bad...
then back to Big Bass Halloween 2 and took 62 spins.. (upgrade: extra spins). first spin double drop!, 2nd spin double drop!.. (never had that happen before), (last spin of level 1 had another double drop). at start of level 2 needed 1 to go to reach level 3. at start of level 3 got fisherman and was 2 to go to reach level 4. 11 spins remaining. then 1 spin remaining was 1 to go. finished with 230x, if fisherman showed up on last spin of level 3 it would have paid 225x on that spin alone and moved to x10 level.

The day i have access to only one slot, even i i can pick it, i'll probably stop spinning 😅

Maybe a Table game would be more suitable for a one and done?! 😋 For me that would be an easy pick: roulette

I have too many slots i enjoy but if i have to pick one slot i would currently say Stormforged.

Fun enhanced modes (even in the Dutch market) and great sound and visual for me, make it so i can play this for hours.

Observations:I used to play any and all slot i enjoyed for hours on end, with autoplay, back in the day, and noticed how a lot of those games now no longer are my favorites/most played, simply because i cant stand them long when i have to click through stupid animations etc

I'm sure some know what i mean 😬

On a more serious note, WTB was not working on Videoslots the other day and has now been removed from their site (and other sites i checked).
Apparently it is no longer available.
RIP.

I only played it a little bit every now and then but i know @ChopleyIOM really reeeaallly liked it.
Im here if you need to talk Chopley.

My sincere condolences @Kroffe

No way is who wants to be a millionaire better than wheel of fortune!

That's why that game is usually not allowed with bonus play unlike millionaire slot

Nothing that was public or official, so you would not have played them anywhere one was flaming 7’s with a progressive so would be a CAT A and can’t remember the other.

I still see it at Winz.

Maybe it has been removed from the Swedish market or something.
Checked a couple more sites just now but cant find it, i cant see it on Winz either (or any other Netent slot for that matter)
Maybe i would see it if i used a vpn, but i dont miss the brides that much just yet.

I don't play at VS anymore but just checked and your favourite slots still there.

Must just be removed from your market.

Thats just mean.
Especially considering i was one of the few people who actually played it. :)

Maybe @Team.Videoslots or @L&L-Jan could give some additional information on why it has been removed from the Swedish market.

If I had to choose, and even though I love some of the more sophisticated newer slots, mine would be Reel Rush. As old school as you can get, but I never cease to get excited as I count each winning reel, hoping I make it to the eight free spins. It plays fast, with the most simplistic of graphics but strangely I'm always drawn to it.

Jeeees, so reason is probably that service costs to keep game up didnt beat the revenue generated. As a result, game is not recertified for that particular market.

However, Net Ent is shit at communicating that. Like last week or so: Guns N Roses is no longer offered and is end of life. Date of end of late: Today!

And same with UK, out of the blue I get a ticket assigned of a customer who always played a particular net ent game and is now no longer available. I check mail: No announcement. I ask technical account manager: Yeah we didn't recertify the game. Very frustrating. Even considering to remove them, however, they have a new head of games I have a lot of trust in. So Ill keep them online for now.
