Hey All,
So some time ago I posted how my Stake account was stolen. I never had 2FA activated on it and the thieving bastard added his number. He was unable to change the email address. I complained to Stake about it and they put a block on the account. Some months later I tried accessing it, by resetting the password and the 2FA had been deactivated. There is about $800 in the account which were my monthly bonus/rakebacks etc. This guy had messaged them about 35-40 times trying to withdraw the funds... days and weeks of begging for just $800. I was more annoyed as the guy was getting abusive to staff under my name.
I emailed Stake but I doubt I will get control of the account, and be able to deposit/withdraw as even though I produced all the paperwork/proof etc they are extremely unresponsive. I learnt a valuable lesson though is utilising 2FA.
The sad and unfortunate thing though how low people will stoop for a few bucks.
