Just wondered what people think is the best feature to take?

Been playing it a while and have unlocked all 4 but I seem to get the best returns on the Valkyrie 5x feature which is the first one you unlock.

Had a couple of half decent wins with the Loki feature but rarely get the wild magic symbol more than once! As for Odin, that's just piss poor and can't hit a big win on Thor for love nor money!

Guessing I've answered my own question and should just stick to picking the valkyrie feature

Any feature can pay well... just choose whatever the one you like the most... For me it's Odin but sometimes i pick Loki ...

You will have poor, good and great payouts on any feature you chose. All can pay big and all can pay nothing.

I have played over 10Mio spins on this slot and meanwhile i stick 98% to Valkyrie. I still get the occasional "0" payout but it also gives me the most payouts > 100 x bet

I prefer Loki or Thor feature.

If I am getting tons of bonus rounds in a short space of time I would generally go for valkyrie or loki but if it takes me a long time to activate bonus feature I tend to go for thor or odin as I want to extend my free spin feature as long as possible.

That is my playstyle - no right or wrong bonus to choose.

Valkyrie is the most volatile and obviously over in a tick. Best rewards though when those lovely light blues are dropping in.

Odin is frustrating shite. Similarly Loki.

Thor is my favourite, decent metal soundtrack, goes nagging on longer than the missus even and reliably pays 20-50x. The '3-reel link-up' is the holy grail; you can tell as when you get a few drops with wins on the first 3 reels you'll usually have a useless bonus on reel 5 which will be activated on a 5x multiplier when the 3 lined-up bonuses drop on reels 1-3 to give you a 5x 20 win for 100x. Before that you'll have had the 3 wilds drop too, although they will only give many 4-reel combos at 5x. This will pay 2-500x before the drops finish.

Like Dunover said: Valkyrie is obviously the highest variance - generally an "all or nothing" feature.

Loki is the most frustrating - looks like it OUGHT to have great potential - but then the placing of the extra wilds is quite clearly NOT a 100% random distribution, which will have you tearing your hair out more often than not.

Odin is a "middle of the road" feature: pretty much guaranteed to give you a moderate to good return.

And of course, Thor is the lowest variance - certain to give you some sort of decent pay-out, but very unlikely to be huge.

So personally I tend to pick Valkyrie or Loki if I have a very healthy balance or am "on a roll", Thor if I'm losing or spinning with big bets, and mostly Odin for anything in-between.

Yeah I agree Valkyrie is very much all or nothing, tend to have better luck with that than the others though.

Like you said, Loki can be an ordeal to watch haha especially when you go 14 free spins without a wild magic symbol then get one on the last spin only for it to fuck you royally!

Never had any luck at all with the Odin feature, probably played it around 20 times and never had two Ravens land!

Like Dunover said, for entertainment the Thor feature is the way to go as your feature goes on for a lot longer and like he said I pretty much always get 20-50 X stake, have had 100 X plus a couple of times, interestly if you play it on mobile you can tell when it's gonna pay well as there's some sort of glitch which makes it play the big win sound effect on the first drop even if you only have 3 J's or 10's

Loki has payed better recently usually 2x magic wilds that aint worth shit on 15 spins, had a 120x win on 1,8€ bet last week which was quite nice.

In the following order IF I get a bonus at all these days

Odin (USUALLY gives you at least a few quid to keep on playing)

Thor (If balance is not in dire need of rescuing, same reasons as Dunover)

Loki (Only if its going mental and had 3-4 of each Odin and Thor and I'm bored)

Rarely touch that horrible 'All wins x 5' on any of the type of games, the clue is in the title, 'WINS' - Where would those be then??

On the rare days I do 'take a risk' I find myself regretting it every time and saying to my PC screen during our numerous conversations 'What a waste of a bonus'

I love this slot and also play it often, never got lucky enough to hit something that good yet though, fingers crossed I'll get lucky soon as the potential on the Thor bonus is huge! Ok, I was about to write Sarah is my favourite Man I need a coffee! Right back to business...my favourite TH2 feature is Loki with Valkyries being a close second. I have no time for the other 2 features whatsoever the bonus comes rarely for me so why waste it on Thor and Odin.
As KK stated if you bet big and are losing it is worth picking Thor/Odin but I don't see the point if you are a lowroller especially as the game is low to medium variance contrary to popular belief.
So to summarize I recommend Loki mainly because you can achieve a full screen of wilds on it..

This reason alone makes it far too tempting to bypass and even if we get one outstanding big win out of ever 7 times you pick Loki it will be worth it... Jon got a full screen on the wildstorm feature which is even more difficult to achieve as Wildstorm barely comes up and when it does it's often no more than 2 reels of wilds...

Its not the 'game it used to be' simply due to the fact of more casinos and hence more players about these days, more result wider spread so we don't get to see/hear of as many 'Big Wins' as we used to that's all.

This slot usually behaves like that, me myself having terrible rund this year on it and having luck on Immortal Romance as my best slot instead. If this slot works good then i recommend you to play it but when it starts to go cold i would switch cause this year ot eats like nothing else

All features have the same RTP.

There has been some disagreements about which feature has the lowest/highest variance.
I originally thought the feature with the lowest variance must be the one with the most spins (Thor in TSII.) But I could be wrong.

Lately, TS2 gives q lot wildstorms, 80% of them 2 reels.

Yesterday, in 150 spins 3 times, all 2 reels with wins form 30x to 60x.
Today, in 170 spins also 3 times, but only first had decent 60x bet. Other two only 1 reel with 25x and 3x bet win.

But free spins are rare and weak...

It goes like that - I noticed how it tends to go on a run of small 4OAK wins, 3 OAK wins and also clusters the 5OAK letter/number wins with wilds together. I also notice that should you get a near miss i.e. thor 0 thor thor wild say, then next spin thor is almost guaranteed to land on the 0 reel, in this case reel 2.

However, when you get those awful combos with wilds and no win, say when a K on reel 2 would have given a substantial win, or a Loki on reel 1 (so there were 2 'outs' so-to-speak) the next spin gives neither of them. ODD!

It's rigged I tells ya.

Yes, well spotted, I too have noticed that 'random' spin come quite regularly. There are 3 possible symbols just above exactly the same Reel 5 layout (Scatter, TSII Wild and Boat)

There is another common combo when there is a Thor with a 'J' above on 4th reel where the 3rd scatter is just above the 'J'.

Another is VERY unusual to trigger on 3,4,5 (go on someone post a screenie )

IR is similar, count how many times during a '3-Reel teaser' you see Amber on the 3rd Reel, Sarah on 4th and Campus (Usually with another Sarah) on 5th!

Also again on IR, wild on reels one and two will 7/10 be followed by '9', 'J', 'K' or '9', 'J', 'A'.

Jurassic Park, 3 reel teaser again, Next spin 8/10 Scatter will drop on Reel 4!

The scatters on reels 1 and 2 are ALWAYS below Odin. The positions of all the symbol are fixed.

And the reason you notice a difference when a wildstorm is about to start, is because the reels change to a different set, without wilds or scatters

You can actually get the bonus trigger with either 5 plain Odins or 5 with a wild for 2x Odins. I've had both but rare. The feature will then be crap.

On Sh*tstorm you can also tell in advance the amount of reels:

When Thor jumps down, his todger will swing to the left, then right just once and settle quickly in the middle for a 1-reel.
It will swing back to the left once more before quickly settling in the middle for a 2 reeler.
Rarely, it will swing L-R-L-R and do a little wobble in the middle if it's a 3-reeler.
On the 4-reeler it will swing L-R-L-R-L-R and settle quickly with no wobble in the middle.
For the 5-reeler, it swings 3 times as the 4-reeler above, but does a little rise (like a quick 'semi' ) before dropping and settling.

the hell is going on with TS2 lately? And by lately i mean in past month or so, ever since i came back i havent had a profitable run on this one. It was that bad that i actually started by avoiding it in my regular play now, even when im at a healthy bankroll. But today i decided to give it a fair shot, 300 spins at 60p-90p and boy was it on a fire, i even had a 10x win once !

Not that it matters, because im sure even if it managed to add 4 reels it would still find a way not to pay more than 10x though (retarded symbols, which pay 1/100 of their normal pay would appear on reel 1!).

But seriously, from my number 1 choice in any casino that has MG games, to something that i dont want to play at all. Skipping symbols all the time, no fs for 300 spins (ok i can live with that), not being able to connect more than 3 of a kind (it kind of reminds me of newish netent slots, where i dont really pay attention to reels 4 and 5 anymore ) I had 3 wilds numerous times without actually connecting 5OAK

Done around 3,000 spins to get these and strange thing is only ONE, One reel W/D.

Haha 36?!! Nice! In regard to Thunderstruck 2 I've really not noticed it playing any differently to usual, it's always been a bit hit and miss... I've always found it'll either boost your balance very quickly or completely drain it haha

I have noticed that the bonus rounds arrive more frequently than in the past and tend to be pretty crap though, still get the odd decent one here and there...also the wildstorms seem to be far more rare but pay a bit better than they used to

It was a bit crazy really. Screw that it was twilight zone crazy, and i was honestly afraid how the slot just ... broke and was really expecting someone from live support to contact me, lol.

I had nice sessions before too but on this thing, which never actually pays super huge (unless you hit that mythical hot mode) i managed to climb up from $110 to $320 in maybe 40 mins, playing on 30-90p spins. At one point i had 4 (FOUR) FS triggers one after another, 3 of those were 1st spin right after previous FS round, and 4th triggered a couple of spins later. I got those on 60p but was too scared to change to 3-4 coins because i didnt want it to stop doing whatever it was doing, and i was afraid how if i touch anything other than spin button im going to break it
