Is 35x the standard these days for all and any bonuses offered by casinos, or have you found casinos have in the main got a lot tighter over the recent years.

When I played online, if accepting bonuses I would try and ensure the wagering was no higher than 35x and also unless a NDB bonus, that there would not be a maximum cashout limit applied.

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
Only recently started taking bonuses again, played cash only for years

Pretty sure the ones I take are 35xB / 35x FS total winnings.

It's all about the play time for me and value for deposits so would possibly consider accepting and undertaking a higher WR, if the value of the bonus or FS was worth the increased WR (Eg 100x 20p spins instead of 100x 10p spins) but that being said not much higher 40x-45x max.

I recently took some FS at Hyper Casino on Rise of Olympus 1K. Won £42 total and had my balance comfortably over £200, two or three times.

Finally cleared WR with about £30 left BUT not a moan in sight as a single £20 deposit had lasted me pretty much all weekend :)

This
THIS. I have no issues taking bonuses that are not tied in with the deposit . Anything extra I can play with after spending my deposit is just a bonus for
Me. I often get 50% up to £50 with all British casino so I always do max £100 and get £50
Free cause at end of the day I’m going to depoist that amount somewhere. So even if lose that £100 I still have 50 to play with 9/10 I don’t complete wagering but idc tbh it’s more for fun and entertainment for me if I was able to clear it awwsome if not I’ve had some fun 🤣🤣

Ditto. From time to time I like to take the odd 100% deposit bonus, and I too look for wagering requirements and max cash out.

I’ve been quite lucky on a couple of occasions. I’ve turned two $50 (crypto) / 100% first deposit bonuses into approximately $700 each time (both had 35x wagering). Both were on dodgy crypto casinos and neither gave me any withdrawal hassles. One of the sites actually featured a 2500x win I got on Fruit Party, on Twitter (must have been a slow day for the casino - they are no longer in business). This greatly assisted with my wagering requirements and eventual withdrawal.

Unfortunately for UK players a lot will change towards the end of the year. With 10x wagering, the terms might become more tights but value will def drop.

x30-50b is still the standard. x30d+b or similar is also quite common (effectively x60b on a 100%er). D+B wagering can be decent on a high percentage match (200%), with x30d+b being less wagering than x50b for example.

I think the worst offers that I still played were x70b and x40d+b due to the rest of the terms being good enough and the EV still being just enough.

the above is obviously outwith the UK.

Sad times but not the operators fault, more evidence of UKGC trashing the past time for UK players. Just an idea but maybe increase the deposit required, even in stages to hold some of the bonus value.

Eg: Deposit 3 x £20 Mon - Thur = Get 50 x 0.20p spins on a Friday, Will have a think if I can come up with anything else (realistic also :p)

Talking of bonuses.

Today was first ever time I've had an email from Quickbet offering free spins on a deposit.

Not a single e-mail since I signed up, off to check account now lol, Hope you're well Paul.

Edit: Nice one mate, know what I'm doing after work later :p

Getting by Jon thanks for asking. Lol guess I'm getting old as most days feel hellish but have done for quite a while. Just get on with it tho.

Hope you are doing okay. And good luck with your gambling. Maybe hit some more wildlines lol.

Oi missed this, yes this is now a recurring offer starting from now on casino games: Quick Deal, we call it.

If you didnt get the email/offer, check if you're optin for bonuses and marketing - both need to be enabled to enroll.

Also, lying is naughty. Either send me £100 with no wagering, or I might have to write a letter to your head office and tell them ALL the things you get up to on here ;) xx

I can accept up to 40xb as I've had decent cash outs before.

Conquestador usually does me decent free spins with no max cash outs with 20x wagering. Value of spins usually equals about 20%, but sometimes you end up with 100% so works out really nice in terms of game play.

Generally though, I avoid most bonuses these days as I find it can limit my fun/ability to cash out a decent amount with wagering still attached.

Interestingly, speaking of conquestador, because they used mixed wagering, their max cashout only applies to the bonus portion so when its a x20b max cashout (lets say b is $100), you would think the max "win" would be $2000. But on a 50% deposit match for example it would actually be $6000 since you'd need $4000 cash to have a $2000 bonus balance.

35-40x wagering is reasonable for the bonus portion. Im trying to avoid casinos that have combined (D+B) wagering amounts more than 30x.
Out of curiosity does anyone know how often people on average manage to clear the wager without running out of funds? Must be like 5-10% if even that

It's why I never accept their match bonuses, as withdrawal caps are a deal breaker. Imagine hitting a max win on a no limit game.

Free spins are best value, but you usually need to ask for the better deals via email.

I just adjust game choice to the cap, the slots themselves are all bells and whistles all I care about is rtp, volatility, max win.

The free spin offers (when good) are definitely better, kinda pseudo-parachute too.
