Which Slot Teases the Most?

Which slot do you find teases you the most? When I say tease, I mean it often gives you one less scatter than you need to land the bonus, and shows some sort of theatrics when attempting to land the next scatter (but often doesn’t).

I’d like to nominate a slot that I’ve only recently come across called Dragon’s Domain by Hacksaw (I think it is an older release). This game constantly throws up two of the three scatters you need. Like every few spins at least, and often for several spins in a row. It’s both exciting and infuriating. If you like the tease, this game is for you.

Which slot teases you the most?

Could there be any other answer than the Big bass series of games?
Bonus tease every 5 spins, and while it does the tease it looks like the reels consists of like 90% scatters that still somehow miss by one position every time.

Since pragmatic dont use fixed reels the teases feel (and are i guess) very unnatural, if there actually were that many scatters on the reels you would land a bonus every 10-15 spins which you obviously dont.
Unless you are @avfcalex23 aka The Big Bass Defender

Came in to post exactly this. They're clearly switching to a 'display' reelstrip during the tease, which is loaded with lots of extra scatter symbols that aren't really there, and then switching back to the actual reelstrip just before the reel lands. It's very cynical and you shouldn't be allowed to do it quite frankly. It's really obvious because you sometimes get a fake scatter land just outside the reel window and then when you press spin for the next game it disappears as the reel starts to move. Typical scummy Pragmatic behaviour.

There's also that weird bug where you don't get a tease on reel 3 when you land a scatter on reels 1 and 2; it only teases the 4th and 5th reels. I suspect they've done this to stop players' frustrations boiling over because having three teases in a row when the display reels look the way they do, and not getting the bonus, would be stretching things too far. Or it's a bug. Either way, they're taking the fucking piss with those anticipation spins. But would you expect anything less from a game studio like Pragmatic Play?

So a couple of posts here encouraged me to put Bonanza in my rotation today after not having played it for a few years. For the $10.00 I put through it at $0.20 spins it gave me a fair amount of game time with around 130-150 spins before I’d consumed my $10.00 limit.

I did not see one L land. Not one.

I also did not heed the multiple warnings it gave me to GO.

Thanks to you guys, Bonanza is now in my rotation again. I don’t know why, but it is.

I’m currently wagering a no deposit bonus and this game has been a monster in terms of wagering in my recent experience.

I finally saw a D yesterday which returned a reasonable 125x. Today I must have spun close to 200x and ended up where I started.

P.S. In my experience this slot doesn’t tease nearly enough ☹️

Why does Bonanza have to have GOLD drop in that order on first spin if you can end up with any combination of the letters after cascades, why can't it drop DLOG etc, I am suspicious that they are not using a real mine on the game and it could be computer generated. If I went goldmining would GOLD fall in that order?

Anything from ELK lol, have to be baited in their way
Man vs Gator, the bell scatters and any slot that has anything to do with scatter collections just to trigger a bonus. Whatever is considered much worse than Victoria Wild by Truelab.

Dr Rock And The Riff Reactor 🚪🏃‍♂️

Oh, Gold Blitz series from Games Global. It grows on you for a while but sometimes I'd dream to push it down the stairs.

Outside of those dirt Bass games (seriously, why are these so popular?), deffo Elk are up there. Electric Sam is a top culprit for this.

Elk's for sure a prime suspect. I spent so long getting absolutely destroyed by Nitropolis. I'm like, "Well, one of them's going to land eventually." Spoiler alert, none ever did.

Top win was x300ish on an UPGRADED bonus in tens of thousands of spins. Absolute rip off merchants with their 93% RTPs. Haven't touched ELK in ages and never will again. Scumbags.

ELK’s only RTP offering for its newer slots is 94% and it’s a move that is terrible for us players. None of the max RTP casinos have any other option unfortunately. Scumbags as you say.

But…I always play a new release ELK once, despite being only 94%. I seem to be able to get the bonus within 50-70 spins most times (as long as it is within a few days of release) and walk away with a small profit.

Their new game called World Eaters has captivated me though. It’s an interesting variation of their Pirots mechanic (which I didn’t particularly like) but I’m getting some decent results on it. This won’t last long though and I’ll probably shelve it soon.

I like the mechanics and visuals of ELK games , ie Pirots and Cygnus 5 , but being at 94 rtp and the amount of teasers you get, the novelty wears of for me , especially Pirots , when you've loads of symbols on the boards and the parrots land miles away for them everytime.

I had the same experience with Nitropolis. Really slick visuals and interesting gameplay, but after a while you realize it's not ever actually going to pay and that it's just tantalizing you to distract from the fact it's simply taking your money and giving you the finger.

Sometimes I'll look at the list of every slot and pick ones I've never played randomly out of boredom. If I ever accidentally open an ELK game then I just close it immediately. I'll never touch another one as long as I live.

Bullets and Bounty by Hacksaw

This slot will absolutely torment you with the amount of "FS" chances that fall....

96.48% RTP - trust me, they lie....maybe back in august for a month or so - take it from someone who became TOO addicted to this slot, you can see its been nerfed to the max now.

Base hits are disgusting and turned down (Value symbols)
Bonuses pay absolutely next to nothing 99% of the time...

Had a super bonus (4 FS scatter) 4 times in the last 2 months

Super bonus 1 - £1 bet >Payout £44
Super Bonus 2 - 0.80p bet > Payout £390
Super Bonus 3 - 0.80p bet > Payout £29
Super bonus 4 - 0.40p bet > Payout £9 (yes, £9)

Its actually quite disgusting how obvious they make it and i get its probably so they can get more attracting to there constant "new" slots which lets face it, when it comes to Hacksaw, there 90% copy paste's with a new skin.

But as for bonus teasing this slot will absolutely drive you mental.

Bullets and Bounty by Hacksaw

It's one of their lowest volatility games and the super bonus is only 200x stake. As far as I know, the only Hacksaw bonus that's guaranteed to pay something is the hidden bonus on Le Cowboy, which requires gambling the bonus. Maybe some of the other hidden bonuses too, not sure. Your results seem pretty in line with the rest of their slots.

For me, some of my most consistent wins come from their older games like Book of Time, Stormforged and Pug Life. So I'm not sure about the nerfing theory.

Yeah its the same on Bullets - When you get a 3 FS scatter, you can "Gamble" for the Super bonus 4 FS scatters, if you are MAD lucky, you hit a 5 FS scatter which opens the "extra" bonus feature, but again....never pays anything sadly.

as mentioned already. its not 1 slot but the big bass series from pragmatic.

frightening frankie is also a strong contender for this title, but there u get many bonuses along those teases (they barely pay ofc)

Elks are designed to take all your money away slowly but surely. I do like some of their older releases tho
