Video slots online casino

Hi guys,
Long time lurker in this forum and the info is invaluable at times.

Anywayyyy, I joined video slots (about 3 months ago) due to it receiving decent feedback on here and was happy playing there didn't go overboard with deposits and had a few wins.

Today I put £50 in my account and was locked out of playing immediately until I provided certain documents.

Most of them the usual, apart from wanting a bank statement which I have never given to a casino in the whole time I have been playing at various online casinos.
It is a redline for me, as it is private information that I am not happy handing over to a third party that in the grander scheme of things can prove my ID without it.

I have sent am email to their customer support as their chat function appears to be not working. Stating the above and asking for them to close my account and return my money.

It is the bit that has annoyed me most is letting me make a deposit but not letting me withdraw it without everything except DNA evidence of who I am...

I understand the KYC rules but they should not take your money and then ask for such stuff...they should block you making a payment and the ask, is how I feel would be a more appropriate way to conduct such a thing.

Anyway, is there anything else I can do or any advice to be given in this situation?

I wonder why you've tripped that. I had to do the normal verification stuff but they've never asked me for bank statements. I had a popup once asking if I'd be able to prove my source of funds if requested or something like that but it was just a checkbox and after pressing yes nothing else came of it.

That being said I have no idea how much you've deposited or net lost there but I think they may be required to do a Source of Wealth check due to legal reasons IE making sure the money is from a legit source.

10 year plus on some sites...
Usually id address and utility bill is enough.
As already said...I just find sending your bank statement a bit too intrusive informationally.
Also it does not state how much of a bank statement is required if it was one page either screen shot or photographed I may have considered it, had they not taken money from me first...ugh

You have been very lucky to have had casino accounts for 10 years and not been asked for bank statements before. Very lucky my friend!
 
VS are a good casino IMO, and you have probably just triggered some sort of threshold.

As youtubeslots has said its quite rare these days to be able to play anywhere for any length of time without having provided some sort of bank statement.

Played online for 20 to 30 years and never once provided a bank statement to any casino and never will.

Even in the days I deposited large amounts.Probably because vast amount of play is at bookies sites they've never requested it.

@Team.Videoslots Why is it that you cannot get Ted games on search and have to go through the all games, providers, blueprint, then scroll though all the games.

What's the point of a search if it doesn't find the games you want?

You'd think when you searched for 'Ted' it would be the top result given the game exactly matches the search. Instead for some reason it's way way down on the list, 35th to be exact.

Online video slots are definitely more accessible now, but I think the experience can vary a lot depending on volatility and game design. Some play very smoothly, others feel extremely streaky compared to land-based machines. I usually pay more attention to features and payout behavior 💰 than graphics alone, since visuals don’t always translate to better gameplay.

Could you/someone please clarify a couple of key details about (typical) expectations when "bank statements" are requested.

Is the following info expected to be visible and identifiable on the screenshot of the statement, or can it alone be "blacked out" on the statement and therefore unidentifiable:
* account number
* account balance

The following would STILL be visible on the statement screengrab:
* full name
* full home address
* account-contact info (ie email; cell phone).

Thanks - don't recall having seen this issue previously addressed here.
 

They will probabaly should have told you what needs to be showing etc, I dont want to give you the wrong advice, Probably better off asking support on the casino what they need to see mate.

Understood - certainly seems to me that since neither Account Number nor Account Balance are required for or relevant for purposes of identity verification ... although I will ask as you suggest, I would not be willing to share and leave that kind of info visible.

When they start asking for your Shoe size, Thats when you know to take caution. haha
