Bonanza vs DOA, race to 1000x win!

Been playing slots since 2010 but only MG. Then VS came with a CM promo and super fast payouts. Up until them most of my withdrawals had 48 hr reversal time minimum. Then one said “hey, the Bonanza contest is going to be won by a newbie”, Bonanza contest? I get there and that was it, love at first sight. Of course I am a bit insecure, “is this really the one”, “people are comparing this with DOA”, “have you seen those wildlines?”

So I decided to give equal chance to both slots. Not going to get crazy over it, chase a monster hit, only small deposits now and then. Just want to get that >1000x bet win. I prefer low variance slots (so far) so I only have 3 of those > 1000x wins (2 of 3 with a 0.01 bet ).

Which is going to pay 1st, DOA or Bonanza? Are they gonna give me that long overdue >1000 withdrawal?

Statistics from other members on DOA suggest >1000x every 25000 spins, Bonanza on the other hand pays same win probably 20 times less often but is supposed (not proven) to have unlimited potential. Bonanza also has better base game, all agree to that.

So this is it, I am going to post what happens here. Others are welcomed to share experiences on those slots or comment.

I am starting from the beginning of July. Horrible 1st week. 170 gone with just 1200 spins and no win over 30x! Both games totally dead, no bonus no nothing!

2nd week was ok. Also lost but smaller deposit with also 1200 spins and some bonus rounds with ok wins. Nothing very big, but it was fun. So far both slots seem to behave the same. More bonus rounds in Bonanza (1 vs 3), crazy right?

I hate Bonanza, tried it a few times when it first came out but just couldn't take to it so I have never played it again.

DoA I have a love, hate relationship with, it either throws money at me or gives me nothing, there is no inbetween. I have had 3 x 5 scatters 3 times in 3 months, along with two wild lines (x2500) in the same period so it does appear to be my lucky slot.

I was going to guess that you first would get a wildline on DOA, but then I saw you're playing with a 45 cent bet there. Why so high?
I would probably do the opposite since Bonanza can give huge winnings in normal play too. Doa can't.

Bets are mostly on min size, 0.09 on DOA and 0.20 in Bonanza. I get it up to 0.45 (DOA) or 1 (Bonanza) for 1 or 2 spins, if game is hot. Then back to min bet.... most times.

Funny how different we play. If a game is hot I never dare to change betsize. I do if it's cold though, since it's a new session each time you change bet.
I like both games and have had huge wins on Bonanza and an enormous amount of wild lines on DOA. Can't even count them anymore

Bryan is going to have to provide a in house therapist soon, lol. I tried it 3x's. First time I spent 30 dollars and won 18, and pulled out. Second time I got the bonus on the third or 4th spin, won 200 and something on a dollar bet and pulled out, the last I spun a few times and said na, not interested. It reminds me of standing in line at a store, the person in front of me buys 100 dollars worth of 3 dollar scratch tickets, they don't even scratch, they just scan. They end up winning 20 dollars back, and then repeat. I bought one and won 1020.00. That was two summers ago. I really hate to see people lose their minds over chasing the un-chaseable. But it's not my business. I will just start scrolling by the threads that contain it. Smart on you btw

I would think chances are higher to hit a WL on DoA. It is my one and only slot I am overall ahead after 2.5 years and some 3.5Mio spins. Dozens of WL's and 5x scatters with the best payout being over 5,000x bet.

Bonanza, i am around even at the moment with the best hit at 800x bet. But it still replaced DoA as THE slot I play in every session, excites me a lot more than DoA.

You don't need to worry since nikantw is a totally different person. Some people create a thread like this to make it more fun.
Others do to prove something or with the mindset that they can beat a game. I've seen worse tilting with doa since it started to get popular. It's more about how much, who and in what way some people are screaming.

I also like both those games, I don't know why I like Bananza as I only ever hit 2 bonus rounds, maybe its just a challenging game for me, don't know.

DOA has been more lucky for me in the past but not lately have not played it much as I used to.

Bonanza's best gone into with 50 quid once a month and having no expectations. Sometimes it surprises you, mainly it doesn't but you never know.... If i'd to pick one i'd prob go DOA but either way good luck

Betting the minimum when Canadians could play Dead or Alive, I racked up bonuses paying $144, $270 and $328 and got the 5 Scatters for $225 so I have several 1000x wins. These were all before Net Ent gimped it when they released it on HTML 5.

900x is my best win in Bonanza and that will probably remain being my personal record. I'm not wasting money on this gimped game.

I got $23 race money and went straight to bonanza. First free spins after 21 spins and i was still over $20, paid over 70× with $0.20 bet

Then straight up to $0.40, second spin 80xbet in the base game.

Within another 225 spins i had two more bonus rounds paying over 100x and 220x bet @ $0.40 and 0.60. Ended at $140.

So less than $3 to get the ball rolling. Doesn't happen every day, unfortunately.

Had another few good pays on Sam on the Beach and Book of Dead getting me to $380 which i handed over graciously to the Viking on TS2 in what seemed like the worst session i ever had on that slot.

I still think though that i get the longest playtime on Bonanza, even without a bonus round.

Had today a 200x bet @ $4 on Bonanza that brought me back to even after it behaved really bad at the beginning, and that on top of the constant disconnections happening at VS at the moment.

DOA gave me 480x bet + 244x bet @ $2,70 at Rizk this morning. Once extra spins, each time one missing for the WL.

Will do some more DOA now at Betat to get started on their CM promo.
