With a very heavy heart, I've had to remove the Club World Group of casinos from the accredited section at Casinomeister. They have been listed here since 2006 - and we have had some awesome times together.

What happened?: there has been a recent major change of direction that this casino group has taken. The primary operator, who was instrumental in making this casino group one of the best casino groups ever, left the company several weeks ago. He had the final word in every player issue - every decision that this casino operation would make. We saw eye-to-eye on player philosophy, and he could always be counted on to do the right thing. Always. He was one of the best operators that I have ever known, and I've been in the business going on 19 years.

He left the company several weeks ago, and since then there have been a number of changes that unfortunately disqualify them from accreditation. Firstly, they are no longer licensed as far as I can tell. They had a Kahnawake license up until 31 December, but that is no more. Licensing is a major issue for being accredited, and casinos must be licensed (preferably in the EU or UK) in order to be listed. At the moment, there is only a vague reference to an office in the Czech republic on the casinos' websites. There is also a reference to a obscure Corrales Group. There is no such thing - no website or anything to give it any substantiation. So that looks pretty bogus to me.

This hurts personally. Club World has been a sponsor for the Meister Meeting since its conception in 2007. They have sponsored the Las Vegas casino dive crawl. They have churned out some awesome player experiences, won numerous Casinomeister Awards like Best US Facing Casino, Best Casino Group, Best Affiliate program - and Karolina, who is still there, Best Casino Manager two years in a row. So they were truly awesome, but unfortunately the linchpin has left the house. I really hope that he reappears in the future with a new brand somewhere. We know that if this occurs, we will have an awesome casino group at hand. I wish him well and good luck.

And I wish the current Club World group total and much success. It is just unfortunate that the changes have given me no choice but wish them well, and send them on their way. Good luck to all.

A shock indeed! I can feel your sadness here Bryan and now it seems one less decent outfit for N. America. If Karolina doesn't fancy toughing it out there I'm sure there will be a long list who would be willing to recruit her knowledge and services as two-time Manager Of The Year. At least that's one comfort.

This is a great shame indeed.

I think the chap you are referring to was one of the first operator owners I ever met 10 years ago: he and his team have always been absolutely top-notch people to deal with, and it would be a tragedy if this spells the end of this excellent group :(

By the way this Czech Address is also used by AffCash program, one with a pretty low rating that represents Slotter Casino and Reel Spin casino amongst others and is a relatively recent 2103 Cup-o-cocoa licensed lot. CWC is now Affiliate Edge.

It's gets more interesting as the site www-dot-wishgirls.com is also registered at that exact same address which forwards to a page of sluts. This means this address is a firm of Domain Name registrants and/or mail-drop address.

In fact an update, the group is now owned by a group from Cyprus, if you can read Czech a bit fine otherwise see this: (Corrales sro is an investment group)

well hopefully Karolina goes somewhere else

Its interesting to see how much a good owner leaving can effect a company entirely and quickly

Examples are pokerstars and club gold. Remember how good club gold was until Dino left? Now its rogue pretty much lol

even slotsmillion felt the effects after they lost their manager

And HighNoon casino ( belonging to Club World group ) links to Jackpot Capital now????

I closed all my ac. in the group long time ago because they made some heavy change that I didnt like.

Cashback 50% If you didnt win with the first deposit was cut down, deposit $ 100 and only get $ 3 cashback or maybe its was only $ 50 deposit you get $ 3 I cant remember.

So not so bad they left, there are other great RTG casinos that I enjoy.

The inside story on these changes would be interesting...was CWC sold and if so for how much, just to start?

But, yes - a great pity to see such a good online casino group taken off the CM accredited list, and the much respected former owner moving on.

I guess the full story will surface in time.

There was a temporary redirect made last night when I was deciding what to do. Affiliate edge has nothing to do with Jackpot Capital. Totally different businesses. The only thing that they share is a common software.

I only think it was a great casino because karolina made it that way to be honest. The rest of the casino was very average. Sticky bonuses, lowest rtp setting I believe, very few withdraw options, cash advance fees for deposits and currency exchange charges for other countries not US

But I admit its hard seeing such a casino with winning awards go down. Such is life sometimes. Did anyone ever think 32red would ever be overtaken and change? Not me! But then a beast like videoslot arose!

Like I said earlier the Corrales Group appears to be owned by a Cyprus-based investment company, so the change in ownership may not necessarily be a slippery slope into the pit, dependent on their conduct in the near future. This may explain why the Canadian license has gone, as the new owners would need to apply for one separately, as all they seem to have now is the useless Cup-o-cocoa one. The Corrales Group is likely a new business name created solely for ownership of these casinos and their operations. I doubt they'd want to devalue a business they just purchased by having it behave badly. If they did their due diligence about what they have spent their money on, they'd know decent licensing and reputation is an integral part of it. Maybe they'll even appear on here eventually to introduce themselves? Who knows...

Wow, that is a shock to read.
At first I thought it was a joke or something as I know CWC has always been highly respected.
I used to play there sometimes for a bit of RTG fun and made a few WD's but stopped playing there since they stopped processing WD's to Skrill.

At first they told me it was only a temporarely thing but it is ongoing for many months now.

A shame indeed.

And Karolina is a lady, was very helpful when I was setting up my CWC account. :)

Doesn't Skrill work either? Neteller was removed so I can't play there anymore either even if I wanted to.

This is really sad news but I'm happy that Bryan spotted the changes immediately.

I can deposit with Skrill but they do not process any WD's to Skrill anymore.
Result: A lenghty process to get the monies on my bank account which I hate as I do not like to see casino transactions on my bank statements.

Just to add - they have Curacao as their licensing entity:

The above Casino is licensed and authorized by the Government of Curacao and operates under the Master License of Gaming Services Provider, N.V. #365/JAZ as an Information Service Provider. They have passed all compliance and are legally authorized to conduct gaming operations for all games of chance and wagering.

So Corrales is their investment company and not a casino group. At least we have that settled. #365/JAZ is their master license holder.

And I guess they don't like being in the reservation.

Here they are trying to erase history. Here is a screenshot of Club World's Awards on 22 Oct. 2016:

And here is the same page today:

Notice any difference? Perhaps Karolina or any of their reps would like to explain to the forum members what is going on.

The awards they had won from here was there yesterday morning so it must have been removed in the last 24 hours.
Definately a result from this thread.

This is a sad affair, it seem's like they have been struggling with some pretty big issue's for some time. It is a BIG loss to all of us US player's as we are running out of decent US facing casino's.

Bryan do you have any idea as to why the man you spoke so highly of left? Money truly is the root of all evil. I have not played there very much as of late but I hate to lose a good group and they most definitely were.I won a good amount of money and had some really good times at many of the casino's.

Maybe thing's will change? Only the gaming gods know this.Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff :sob:

It's a shame but removing CWC definitely speaks a lot for this site's integrity, so thumbs up.

Had a look at Dunover's first post, thankfully I can still read czech. It says the company is now "s rucenim obmedzenym", which basically means should they go bust they will only owe their creditors (customers) the amount they specify when applying for a business licence. In this case, their "kapital" is 5000 czk, 185 euro. So yes, they can take 100k in deposits, call it a day and still only be legally obliged to pay back the said 185 euro.

The thing is, the guys who are running it now have no worthwhile experience in the industry that I am aware of - RE: player relations and daily operations. I have never met them. They have never been to any conference that I can recall - and I've been going to them since 2001. So my question to them is who is running the casino? Who is making the decisions that need to be made concerning player issues? There are simple answers like "we've brought in Mr. x who I know you know very well, and he is giving us daily consultations." That would have been a very satisfying answer, and I would have been in my comfort zone.

So a valid reputable point of contact, and this would have been a very easy transition. Other casino groups have been sold or had a new administration take over and retained their accreditation - King Neptune's, Grande Vegas, are two examples that immediately come to mind. Sad to say, I haven't been given any information on who is training these guys up - but that's their prerogative. I'm not pressing for this information any more. If they didn't see the importance of volunteering this information in the first place, then that's that. Time to move on.

I'd still like to know why they removed the Awards though. If it's because they aren't listed as an accredited casino, that's pretty sad and overly dramatic. Check out 3Dice's review they lost their accreditation and they are still proud recipients of the same types of awards. Those awards still stand. You can't change history.

Its clear the new management are bitter about this. But taking down those awards only hurts them and not this forum or the owner here so whatever. Alot of gamblers, including thousands on twitch know of casinomeister and its good reputation. So when a casino has won awards, it shows them they are to be trusted. So yeah. Club world is only shooting themself in the foot.

If this is any indication of how that casino is going to be run, i suggest everyone steer very clear from them

Totally mad they would remove something that gives them real credibility and does speak of people not really knowing what they are doing. Even if it was not there intention to try return to CM why
distance themselves that at the very least shows a rock solid history. Very confusing. Seems like our American bretheran have even less choices now ... but you did the right thing and shows real integrity in making what was clearly not an easy or welcome decision. Kudos for that

Seeing casinos that you once trusted go thru these things is sad. What troubles me the most is the amount of information given to these places when you manage a cash out. Lucky or unlucky me, i have never came close to cashing out so never verified my account with CWC. I don't know how much USA players can take before we feel enough is enough and stop playing at all. I am very happy to have CM to help when things go wrong but it would be great when we are allowed to play without worrying. It seems like we have been waiting forever :eek2:.

Hi Bryan, Players, Affiliates and others,

I have read this post and just wanted to clear a few things up as whilst I appreciate you are doing your job in informing people of changes I must state a few facts (This post isnt meant to come across rude in anyway btw)

Jonathan as you all know ran the Affiliate Edge group of casinos, He owned 1/3 of the company with 2 brothers (all equally) and for whatever reason there was a family dispute (This is the only part i wont comment on as it should be respected that this is a family matter and the outcome has left 2 of the 3 owners as 50% owners each). I must make it clear, All the staff who were not directly involved with Jonathan and the case have stayed. Thats over 90% of the overall employees. Of course there was a 2-3 week period last year where payments were delayed (all sorted now), But all i can say is that the company is operating at 100% of its capabilities, we have received reassurances from processors, software company, affiliates and other partners we have worked with for over 10 years now.

Bryan has been extremely supportive to the owners with advice and information gathering and i speak for the owners when i say this, we are all grateful for the service Casinomesiter has given us over the years.

The company Club World were never disqualified or discredited by Kahnawake. Kahnawake sent a letter to all US casinos stating that they would be expiring their gaming license to everyone on December 31st 2016 and to make provisions and to remove the logo from your sites. This was a legal email and was taken seriously by us and by all license holders. To obtain a license and keep all parties happy (Affiliates, Players, Partners, Processors, Software providers etc) the company decided that the 'highest level license' for US gaming was the Curasao gaming license. Corrales Group which is a marketing services company of Club World and simply a vehicle for European marketing had been working to obtain a Curasao gaming license. Corrales Group sit are a European company as they deal with our growing European business.
The license will move over as a full license within a matter of time but for now we are hugely grateful to be licensed.

I would like to end by thanking everyone for their support, I guess you find out who your friends are in times of hardship and we have found friends in all corners including Bryan! Even though we respect his current position and truly hope with time and the information we are providing that you can see nothing has changed and its very much business as usual.

On a further note all of December Affiliate payments have now been sent out and we look forward to a great 2017 and wish all forum members a happy and healthy 2017.

With Regards,
Management at Club World Casinos

I was going to thank the post but then I saw it was signed by Management and not Karolina.

Is there someone else using that account now? It got me confused.
I trust people, not management since that's just a word.

WOW! Effectively that means no USA-facing sites can ever be accredited as the policy IIRC is not to issue accreditation to Curacao-only licensed casinos then. No KWH license, no can do! So this also means other US-facing sites will be in the same boat surely by now?

For European business a Curacao license is worth the same as a junkie's promise. Unless aiming at the 'emerging' less-regulated East European countries a Curacao-only casino is worthless to any players unless either a Mal/Gib/IoM/UK/Dk/Ald license is held alongside it.

Two questions still remain - why in 2 weeks did nobody at CWC bother to notify Bryan so he had to learn it by checking the site(s)?

Secondly, why remove CM awards from the site(s)?

If ever you need to display them it's now, with only a worthless Cup-o-cocoa license in the pipeline...

It's been handled poorly to be honest, because US players have already been on this thread stating they aren't playing at more, or at least until they know they can still be trusted.

It is Karolina. She uses the 'clubworld' rep handle. She PM'd me today using the same handle. It can only have been her by what she said, plus I can tell by her style of typing. Put the foil away for pity's sake...

She is the casino manager after all. That makes her management.

Hi All,

Thank you for your comments. I do apologise for not being active recently especially on this thread however I was off from Thursday last week.

I posted the previous reply on behalf of management from my usual clubworld account.

In regards to the CM awards logos there was some confusion and we meant to remove the accredited by CM logos not the awards. I'm very proud of what we achieved via CM and I'll never remove my best manager title. We will get the awards logos back on site.

I hope this clarifies the situation.

Kind Regards,
Karolina
