Ikibu Casino pretty much lost interest in being part of the community and being listed in the Accredited Section, so they have been down-graded to the Grey Zone.

Shame....enjoyed Ikibu for a few months and they seemed to offer something a little different. Good promotions and good service. Even had a personalised email from 'The Chief' congratulating me on a win. Nice site design and choose your own reward spins from a multitude of games. Then the personalisation seemed to die off for me and now I get the same generic email as my pal offering the same 50% bonus every single day coupled with a lack of interest in the community doesn't look good....fingers crossed still

My fondest memory of Ikibu is how the rep came on here happy, making a big song and dance, and that half a page later he had lost the will to live after we roasted him for Ikibu's crap bonus terms amongst other things.

Good times :(

How funny - I didn't have the pleasure of that experience. It's not good to cut communication, you could at least say something like I know we're not perfect but we're good at this and that and thanks for your feedback which we'll take on board etc etc. I get the impression forums can be a tough crowd but I think the rewards are there. I only found VS through CM and most of my fun (money) goes there and I'm probably not the only one.

Pretty sad to hear.
I was vip there last year, always had really helpful staff and my withdrawals and sow was never a issue.
It was just the terrible bonus offers and restricted games that where poor.
Also lack of a active rep never helped matters, seemed to go downhill after rafieloto left, I was told he was still at ikibu in some capacity but can’t confirm or deny it.

It is a shame, but I always thought Ikibu was an average site. While the "journey" and the "shop" was cool, they then started to put crazy restrictions on everything. When I took that 50% deposit bonus over a year ago and cashed out my biggest balance ever ( Also getting my biggest hit in terms of "x my bet" which was over 1400x ), the max cashout on it was 5K which was fine for me as a low roller and it was 30x D & B which is not great, but not crap. Now, this same bonus has a max cashout of 10x and 50x D & B! I am fine with 60x as max when it comes to bonuses that use D & B for calculations, but they shot themselves in the foot so much. Had Ikibu engaged with the community here and taken on our suggestions, the casino would still be profitable and many people here would play there. I haven't played there in many, many months.

The cashouts were always slow for me and I use Ecopayz. They took more than 24 hours - 48 hours to pay out.

They maybe still are profitable, just not accredited here anymore :)
I've seen them with their $5 contests on other forums so they maybe are doing a better job there, or they don't have members who are as critical as we've been.

Sure, maybe they are making profit still, but when the bonuses and things that they offer are worse than all of the competitors options and we make suggestions to try to bring it in line with the other sites like the restricted games list while on a bonus for example... Longest list ever! I can't see how that would be not reasonable to change at all. They flatout refused to listen. Now they are paying the price for it.

I was vip Sara, I wasn’t treated great but did get a fair bit of free spins. Not once did it lead to a cash out as the terms are so brutal.
I agree they are far from rogues, they have some of the best CS I’ve ever dealt with.
Shame they can’t get a rep to come here and spend a bit of time to sort there shit out

Me too but the contrast between their VIP and the other one I’m at, Redbet (who I fall in and out of love with), was night and day.

Ikibu - one email from VIP, some crap spins and a depo match. Not a peep afterwards.

Redbet - 100% cash, not bonus matches and offers on free games and random drops etc.

I got a 4 reel wild desire on 1.50 on my first deposit, so I stuck with them longer than I should have. In fairness their verification and withdrawals were all fine.

Terrible bonus terms for a casino that I thought like low to medium rollers.

You deal with ‘winston’ he was great when he was actually around, sadly went awol. Like my deposits at ikibu

Yep, that’s the one. The intro email I got sounded promising, and then vammmoosh.

I was just looking for free cash if I’m honest :p
I would of just liked to be appreciated after the odd £800 a day deposit rather than 14000 seeds with wagering...
anyhow my play is almost zero now. Interest in slots is waining

@Casinomeister @maxd

maybe time to rogue these for ripping off affiliates, this is the email people have been getting when chasing payments. When casinos start stealing from the people who send them a large amount of business, then you know players won't be far behind :(

Hi,
I'm sorry to hear this and totally understand your actions.
Unfortunately, I've tried very hard to solve this situation but the shareholders are not willing to pay the affiliates.
It is sad to say this but, this is the horrible situation we are all living here at Ikibu.
I apologize for all the inconveniences.
Kind regards.

They still run under the MTST license, so surprised they are allowed to do this tbh, as much as everyone knows what I think of MTST and GIG, I didn't think any of their casinos would rip anyone off.

Edit just realised theres still a rep logging in so tagging @Yaker to see if he has any comments?

No sadder sight than a casino affiliate cut off from a revenue stream. This monstrous situation is completely unacceptable and distressing for all....

The point being, if a casino does this in this manner, chances are there are cashflow problems, and then players can be affected :(
It's different to them closing an affiliate program like Sky sort of did (as an example)

Hello all,

I came here to apologize in my name and all Ikibu staff. The stories that some of you (specially affiliates) have heard about us are totally true.

Everything is said on that email that @colinsunderland posted earlier today. The shareholders/upper management are holding payments in order to protect the cashflow. Truth is that this has been going for too long and we don't want to lie to anyone, not anymore.

I am not able to provide further info since they (upper management) have left us unattended for a while and don't reply us. It's not an excuse to all the affiliates out there, but there's very little we can do to solve this situation if the people in charge don't care about us. It's just a matter of time until Ikibu closes...

Just to be clear on something, the players are and will still be paid as the casino still have a money reserve that will cover any casual winning, small or big.

I know we haven't be your favourite casino, but we have always tried to do our best, and I will take the whole staff courage and hard-work everyday.

Thanks.

@Yaker thank you very much for posting and being so honest, I'm guessing (as Dan mentioned) you aren't expecting to be working there much longer, so will take the opportunity to say thank you for taking the time to be the rep and although we haven't always seen eye to eye, I respected you had the guts to post, in fact your rant at me a few months ago probably earned more respect from me than you otherwise would, as you at least spoke your mind :) I honestly hope you get another job quickly and wish you all the best for the future.

Just as an aside, I know you say players will get paid as there is a pot of cash, but if thats the case then shareholders are basically stealing from affiliates. While a lot of players probably think thats good, then it shows what the shareholders are like, and why would they care abut shafting players, especially if Ikibu is on it's last legs. If you are correct in saying it's only a matter of time before Ikibu closes, then I have no confidence in players being paid. I would strongly suggest no one reading this plays at Ikibu. I certainly wouldn't be wanting to be waiting on a large withdrawal, thats for sure. I've only said that in public about 2 other casinos and both closed (DrVegas and FreakyVegas).

Good luck in the future @Yaker

They are a white label so not sure how that would work, add to that Yaker saying they have the cash would suggest its ikibu who is paying?
Is it worth risking when there are other almost the same MTST sites people can use?

I think the way it is working for white-labels is that they have to give a retainer to the licence holder, in this case, MT. Money they cannot touch until the contract ended or has been terminated and all dues have been paid.

It surely was the case for Microgaming casinos in the early 2,000s. I assume that the principle has been kept.

Hello all,

Firstly, thanks @colinsunderland for the kind words. I know I've been an asshole sometimes but I always tried to be honest with you guys! I truly hope that we can meet on a rather better situation :)

Secondly, regarding the players money, it's exactly like @Harry_BKK MTST manages a money reserve that we don't have access to in order to assure that the players are paid. That's why I said that the players will not be affected by this issue.

Just got the email that they are closing down.

"IKIBU CASINO IS CLOSING DOWN ITS SITE

You have 30 days until 29/12/2019 to withdraw your funds. Withdrawals will be processed, but games, rewards and deposits will not be available anymore. Please note that all bonuses and bonus winnings will be cancelled. You can only withdraw your real money balance. Thank you for the past years and all the best!"

Hi all,

Yes. It's true! As I said earlier this week, it was a matter of time.

Thanks all for your messages, although they have not been always kind words, I know that, with your feedback, you were trying to make us a better casino.

Again, we (the whole team) gave our best and tried everything to make this company grow and be a good place to work, and a better casino for all the players. I have nothing but respect and gratitude towards my co-workers.

I wish you the best of luck in your future gaming journeys.

Sometimes it is not the staff but simply the management or the share holders that make a mess.
I have worked for companies in the past and came up with some great ideas to improve brand exposure, client growth, client satisfaction etc etc but sometimes it is just the same as talking to a brick wall.

So I can feel the frustration in your words and I am sure you did nothing but your best to make Ikibu work.

I have affiliated for them when they just started and had some good conversions.
Also customers were quite happy in the beginning.
So I am not sure where it all went wrong.

Wish you all the best mate, in your future job / ventures.
