Ecuador Gold by Elk Studios - 4096-262144 ways not bad. :)
Champions Of Rome by Yggdrasil - so-so. :cool:
Carnival Queen by Thunderkick - easily the best of them IMO. :thumbsup:
Good Feathers by Blueprint Gaming - same old mechanic. :rolleyes:
Gorilla Go Wilder by Nextgen - arse-scratching Gary is back with 8 different island worlds. Not bad. :p

 
Wonder when Microgaming will next bring out a decent game. Even at LAC they seemed to be living in the past, recycling old-titles like Agent Jane Blonde and now Break Away Deluxe.

No prospects of what hardcore players want to see i.e. high variance.
 
When are you doing your real play on Holy Diver? Would be great to hear your thoughts on it playing for real money. IMO its a great game for wagering if you stick to levels 1 and 2 but soon as you go for level 3 then it eats. (Played over 4k spins so far on VS and 3k at LV about 40 bonuses no retrigger yet.)
 
I didn't realize that Carnival Queen has mechanics that I like which is an increasing multiplier on each winning spin in the bonus, cascading reels, and decent potential like Bonanza and other high varience slots. I played this on Casumo not really knowing what it was like and I got a bonus. Payed over 200x on 50 cents and the multiplier was at 23x. Pretty fun when it plays nice...

I am actually quite liking the Elk Studios one now, Ecuador Gold. It can tip some decent wins in when the FS bonus goes well. The Wilds stack up at the bottom and become sticky on reels 2-6 as the bonus goes on.
 
My luck with Thunderkick slots is horribole Rocket Fellas i did 25-30features on release day not a single 1 paid more than 50x, just hope its actually easier to get the feature on this since it always seems stupid hard to trigger on all there slots and 99% features pays nothing.

I liked Bloopers very much, a very fun game to play but not very volatile...Think my best hit was like 200x in FS but they occure quite often tho.
Liked the game mechanics, sounds a fun theme.
Poltava is kinda okay too.
Must try Carnival Queen, never seen it or played it yet.
 



Seems bonus games get tighter and tighter on new slots...
I have battered Gorillas go Wild and on the end it paid off with a 2100x on the sticky wild free spins but it took me a very long time to get a decent hit on that.
Not sure if the new version will be any better.

Break away deluxe? WTF Microgaming. Didn't like that series of their slots anyway.

Ecuador Gold looks good and Carnival Queen too although I am not a big fan of Thunderkick, never had any huge wins on any of their slots.
Think Pink Elefants would still be my fave TK game.
 
Do not bother to play that Elk slot. It is pure evil and bad bad bad.

I just done and lost 3 deposits on it within 30mins and Busted SOO fast. Not 1 feature, did about 1000 spins on it as well. Shocking bad. Soo many dead spins and the pays are soo damn small. Impossible to even get decent playtime on it. Just an appalling rip of joke of a slot.
 
Ecuador Gold has a very tight basegame for sure. But looking at the features, with sticky wilds, massive ways AND retrigger all possible, there's no doubt potential in there. I think it looks very interesting, personally dont mind complexity if done correctly.

That said, I think its gonna get a few Tosser awards because of this happnening to me in freeplay:

1. pretty much all ways unlocked
2. got at least 15 way 6OAK of Adventurer (highest payer) but..
3. ...before the win was counted, a huge block of lowpayer smashed reel 4,5
4. and so I only got some 3OAKs instead of a huge win.

Still, gonna have at least one real money session on it.

As for others I wanna make the case that games have gotten better overall lately. Something like that Rome game from Ygg wouldve stood out as a real contender for game of the year to me in 2016-2017. Now not so much. Don't get me wrong, we (dunover) still have to go through a lot of drivel, but the "average decent release" is better at the start of 2019 than 2018 I'd say.
 
I did have some nice wins on it after I posted that post above. I had 2 features within 20 spins of each-other. First was 15 drops that paid £107 on a 0.40 bet and second was 25 drops that paid £130 on 0.40 bet.

So yeah it has got huge potential. It is actually a fun decent slot. But it is still tight as hell and eats your balance and the amount of dead spins can be totally brutal.

Those 4X4 symbol blocks happen like maybe once every 500 spins and most of the time they do not connect. So no win when they drop one in lol. I did however have 1 connection of a 4X4 symbol drop in on the worst symbol creating 6oaks of that blue cross symbol. It paid just under £64 for it on a 0.40 bet. But yeah the feature can be impossible to trigger. Very similar trigger rate to bonanza.

Play at your own risks I say lol :)
 
I wonder if I'm the only one who doesn't like Ecuador Gold. I wanted to like it, but I can't like a game I can't win on. Several deposits with lowrolling gone without a single bonus. The wins on the base game are so pathetic that you can't expect to win anything without a bonus.

Meanwhile I got several bonuses on the new Thunderkick game and I really enjoyed the game. Nice visuals, nice music, good potential to pay.

In the video you said Champions of the Rome is the first game Riggdrasil has come out with that has Bonus Buy. That's not correct. They have a bonus buy on Dark Vortex.

Shame how MG have gone, they made some utter classics
 
My biggest problem with MG is the fact that nearly almost all of their "classics" as you would say are on the downloadable client only. What casino even has a downloadable client anymore? Nearly all casinos are on the site itself only, and that platform has only a tiny fraction of the MG games out there.

MG has a lot of good games from the past. Games I'd still play. The new games however, are and have been utter garbage. They should go back to their roots and bring out sequels to slots or something. Immortal Romance Megaways? :lolup:

IIRC correctly they were removed from accredited section, not for their bogus marketing but unethical 'reverse withdrawal' bonuses?

I dont know if 32Red still offers it but it wasnt very long ago it was the only way you could play it

Ah I’m with you, not all that tech savvy as you will see. Mainly a tablet/mobile player.
Must be honest miss many games I like playing on the two devices mentioned, like the turd and wishmaster.

True come to think of it i have no idea if they still do.

Anyway playford the download casinos are ones that you hit download and they store on your computer so you just click them on your pc and they load up But they take up a lot of room and if you want to play a new game it has to install first.

For eample William Hill has the casino page. But to get every Playtech game they have you need to install the casino.

Cheers. Pretty sure I remember once downloading a casino maybe red queen or something of the like and was to slow to bother with. Play just on the phone or tablet as mentioned earlier, need to be more active on my laptop tbh as miss out on lots of good classics.
Lazyness on my part.
Also wasn’t aware to get the full inventory of WH playtech you needed a pc/laptop download.. I just like to click and spin.

To the best of my knowledge Nicola (and purely based on the accounts I have had over the years), there may be as many as 30.

The last time I checked (which admittedly was around October/November 2018), the following were still downloadable...

** For some reason, Betway itself is now no longer downloadable, even though its sister casino still is.
 
I seem to recall having issues with downloadable MG casinos in the past but maybe it wasn't as much as them not existing but the fact they do not work. I could not get them working at all on Windows 10. Like the shitty downloader-installer would never even install anything :mad:

Ah yes, I forgot CR have now licensed all their brands to the UK, that's a quite a few more!

Personally, nothing beats the download client. Playing Immortal Romance is much smoother and none of the lag you get nowadays with the flash/HTML5 version.

Couldn't agree more. I know that there will come a time when the MG Viper Client will get removed for good.
For you and I (and I'm fairly sure KK is with us on this one), that will be a sad day.
 
I have to warn people for some of these slots!!!!

I was lucky the last couple of weeks so I felt bold and made a €300.00 deposit instead of my usual €100.00 deposits to play Carnival Queen and Ecuador Gold.
I was thinking already, a decent Thunderkick slot? No way!!!! As I only liked Pink Elefants out of their choice of games.

Started to play Carnival Queen and got quite fast a few nice base game hits between 50x-100x and was thinking, okay let's see how the bonus game plays out.
Well I did exactly 1672 spins and DID NOT get once the free spins!!! In all these spins I have only seen 2 scatters about 6 or 7 times and of course the third would not drop in.
So the slot busted me out after 1672 spins with €0.50-€1.00 bets.
I thought this was a fun slot to play but I was wrong.
The music gets on your nerves pretty quickly too.

Anyway, reloaded with another €150.00 to play Ecuador Gold and this slot was even worse, dead spins galore and again with all this cash not a single FS round triggered.
Didn't track the spins this time but it busted out far quicker than Carnival Twat.

So €450.00 spent and NOT A SINGLE bonus triggered.

For me that it just unacceptable and I despise these slots.
What the hell are they thinking when making these slots, where is the fun in this?
This is just pure greed!!!!!!!!!! Slot volatility? Yeah sure I get that after 10 years + online gambling but these new slots all drive you insane.

I saw @dunover get the bonus quite fast on Carnival Queen in his review but I spinned 1672 times and did not get them once.

I have never ever ever ever had to wait so long for a bonus round in any b&m casino and slot.
Online this seems to be the trend now, look at the BTG slots but also Thunderkick is a brand that can destroy your balances without any trouble.

I don't give a fook when I lose a deposit, that's the name of the game.

What does piss me off is all these fancy new slots with 10.000x + on the tin but do not even trigger a bonus after so many spins.
It is just atrocious and it tends me to stay away from any new slot and just keep playing the older suite of slots where I know I will get the free spins most of the time within a reasonable amount of spins.
All these new slots have a lot of bla bla bla, but deliver shit!!!

I was very positive about above 2 slots but after 450 quid and no bonus round I wonder what the heck they are doing, those slot programmers.

Both a very decent RTP so over time I suppose it will all be fine but I am not willing to invest 5 grand in a slot before it decides to return a few shilling.

So proceed with caution, these slots!!!!
 
They really should maybe also advertise the avg bonus round / FS hit rate so that we know what we can expect.
High variance doesn't mean it should be impossible to trigger the FS as for example in DOA, hits quite frequent and although the wins are mostly crap, at least I get the excitement of having the free spins.
300 quid in a slot and no FS after nearly 1700 spins is bull shit!!! Bonanza copy..
 
I do not get it. I just noticed they added that Gorilla Go Wilder slot to Leovegas casino. I just opened it to look at the paytable. It only shows 5 available features in it. And it only shows 25 paylines in the paytable?

So why does @dunover in his video when I see him showing the paytable clearly show more than 25 lines on it in the paytable? Different version? Who knows? But still strange?

Possibly the lines were referring to a free games type which offered more rows and more pay lines, not the base game?

Perhaps, but it does not even show paylines per feature either in the paytable in the slot at Leovegas. Go take a look yourself at the paytable at Leovegas? that way you will see for yourself? No idea what version you had? Maybe it might be down to the fact once you have unlocked all features the paytable then updates and shows the extra lines?

The end of the video there, has the Volcano spins lines shown. There are from 25 to 200 on a random basis per spin in that type of bonus. The first 25 shown are your base game ones. I can't see the LV one being different as they source the slot from the same as every other casino. A paytable would have to show all feature rules from the off, not when you've unlocked them.

Ok, at Leovegas, the Volcano Spins feature is not even showing in the paytable?

As you can see. it only shows 25 lines. So really do not get how you got to see a paytable that shown the Volcano spins feature, whereas this version's paytable clearly does not have that info in it?

Furthermore. It only shows info for 4 features and then info for shell re-spins. the 4 features info it does show are: crystal cave, tiki bar, green jungle, waterfall.
 


In that case it's possible (rare, but sometimes happens) that the final version didn't use the Volcano feature and removed it prior to release.

EDIT - yes, there ya go. They took it out as my demo now shows the same pay tables as yours does.
