Casino: PowerPlay
Issue: $2,700 in winnings withheld due to non-consensual bonus
Player: *snip*
I am submitting this complaint due to unethical and deceptive practices by PowerPlay Casino that resulted in the wrongful withholding of $2,700 in legitimate winnings.
I deposited and played as usual with no intention to use a bonus. At no point was I prompted to accept or decline a bonus during the deposit or gameplay process. After winning $2,700, I was informed that I had supposedly received a bonus with a 35x wagering requirement and a 10x max withdrawal limit which, frankly, is such a terrible offer you’d have to dig through forums for hours to find a worse one. I was not aware of any such bonus and certainly never accepted one.
When I challenged this, support first showed me a vague screenshot implying I had accepted one of two bonus options. It was evasive at best and borderline gaslighting subtly pushing the idea that the mistake was mine and that I must’ve just forgotten.
Eventually, I spoke with a manager named Nick, who actually agreed with my complaint and promised to look into it further. (I have a screenshot of this exchange.)
Then, 48 hours later, Nick sent me an email that included this incredible admission:
“If you deposit over the weekend, you will have this bonus offered to you. In case you do not see the pop-up, please check your casino bonus section in your profile, where you can cancel any unwanted bonuses.” As I would consider depositing while they owe me $2700. Smh.
So let’s be clear:
-The bonus was automatically added
-There was no proper opt-in
-The responsibility was on me, the player, to somehow notice and manually remove it
The casino is openly admitting to deceptive bonus practices, yet still refuses to return the money I rightfully won. Money that only became “restricted” because of a bonus I was not aware of and that I never asked for or agreed to in the first place. That’s not just unfair, that’s predatory.
And Then It Gets Even Worse:
I later reviewed the timestamps and found that the bonus wagering was completed within the exact same minute I hit the $2,700 win. Literally seconds apart.
Now think about the odds.
First, I beat the long odds to win $2,700. Then the system somehow determines that the wagering finished either just after or at the exact same moment I triggered the win.
If I had hit that spin 30 seconds later, the full amount would have been real money — unlocked, no issue.
That’s not just unlucky, that’s a statistical anomaly. It’s a razor-thin technicality weaponized against the player, made possible only because a bonus was snuck into my account without my permission.
My Request:
I am requesting the full release of my $2,700 winnings, which were improperly seized through the use of deceptive and unethical tactics.
This isn’t just about money. It’s about: consent, transparency, and trust.
I hope the Casinomeister team will recognize this situation for what it is and hold PowerPlay accountable.
Thank you,

I also did try to cut to find power play rep but I could not find one .
