I'm not sure if this place is dodgy, but, after reading the About Us section and doing some further research I've realised this:

If Danmar Investment Group Company Limited has been operating Land Based Casinos for 10 years then there would certainly be something about them on google. Apart from these two online casino (in my 10 years of online gaming I've never heard of these casinos) there is nothing about Danmar Investment Group Company Limited found on google:

It looks like these guys are commencing some marketing drive, hence, I thought it best to issue a warning...Better to be safe that sorry!

3dice (lovely design IMO) leads to an affiliate page with a contact email mark[at]danmarinvest.com which is simply a holding page on a domain reg'ed in 2003 by "Mark Furman" (presumably the Mark on email support?) and hosted on a public server in Arizona with 900k other sites and an admin email at yahoo.com. Not too encouraging but it definately looks like its offering something new (3d) and the site design has some encouraging signs. Says "Licenced & regulated" but doesn't say where - crucial info. Company reg'ed in Belgium, payment processing done in Spain, server hosted in the US. Quite an unusual mix.

I'd say new, unknown, unproven, proprietary software. May turn out good, may not. Too early to say.

A few of the reasons why I decided to post this warning.

When I then discovered that it tied back into thedomecasino.com (and I'd never heard of them before) it was too many red flags for my liking, then that's just my opinion, isn't it :D

The yahoo email addy for the domain of danmarinvest.com bring memories flooding back of past dodgy casino that would also use yahoo email addys too.

imo for a company that claims to have been in B&M casinos for 10 years, I find their actions rather suss.

Didn't check this the other day, but, that Thwate Banner at the footer of every page, is bogus.

Like Verisign, (who also own Thwate) all Thwate Approved sites connect to a certificate of authenticity...

The banner does not connect to anything it's a fake.

Stay Right away from this outfit!!!

3Dice

Hello guys,

As a support employee of 3Dice casino, one of our members pointed me to this post. Allow me to add a few bits and pieces of information that could help readers of this thread to assess the situation.

For starters, the casinomeister members were very fast in finding out about the existance of 3Dice casino. At the time of the posts, we were not at all doing any marketing as the site was still under construction.

Because of that, some of the assesments above were of, lets say premature nature, and any visitor can verify that all our certificates are perfectly ligit, support and contact addresses provide in swift replies, and we try to provide in the best possible casino service.

I understand that trust is hard to earn in this business, and of course, my opinion is biased, but so is the opinion of those who didnt try. I can appreciate the assumption that any new casino will just fit the prototype untill proven otherwise. It would be great if some of the casinomeister members with real world experience at 3Dice.com also share their opinion.

For those who'd like to try, we have decided to setup a new no-deposit competition system, so you can try it all out without any risk.

Regards,

the 3Dice team.

Thanks for appearing, Mark - perhaps you would care to address some of the questions raised earlier regarding your software and licensing? And the use of those Arizona servers? That may help establish better credibility....

Hello jetset,

Sorry that we werent more explicit about this, but the "findings" earlier in this thread are simply incorrect. As clearly mentioned on our website, 3Dice casino
is licensed out of Curaao, and our game servers are all located there. To provide our customers with a faster website and downloads, an extra content server (only webpages and downloads - no gameplay) is located in the Netherlands. There are no servers in Arizona whatsoever - nor can we tell you how that user came to such a conclusion (bad geo-location tool ?)

For those that like to check and see for themselves, here are the server urls and ip's.

www.3dice.com : 200.124.132.182 (main server - handling all gameplay)
fileserver3.3dice.com : 84.244.134.192 (fileserver - webpages and download)

(be carefull with geo-location tools - they work based on databases and many of the (free) geo-location tools out there have incomplete and even incorrect ip-pool information -

The 3Dice casino software is the pride of 3Dice. In a market with little or no differentation, and a quality level that does not meet the specs of todays
digital entertainment market, we made a huge investement to have our software custom developped. (Which included licensing a state-of-the-art 3D engine, getting a designer from Blizzard, years of development ...). We believe the results of this effort are clearly visible, and 3Dice casino stands out when it comes to graphics quality and gameplay delivering a better digital entertainment experience than any other software solution out there.
(Once again - one needs to take an actual look - to be able to tell .. )

I don't like the fact that their banking page says nothing about Neteller not being available to US residents.

Thanks for the remark winbig, we will have one of the webguys change that today.

If anyone wants any more information, we will be happy to answer all questions..

Regards,

the 3Dice team.

Thank you winbig,

For the users with less knowledge on how ip number management works, ARIN is the "American registry for internet numbers". Our ip is managed by LACNIC which is the "Latin American and Carribean Internet Address Registry". LACNIC owns the pool 200.*.*.* of ip's (which they registred at ARIN) and manages the allocation of the nrs in that pool for Latin America and the Carribean. The who-is search at LACNIC (which allows you to search IN that pool)

Some quick observations.

1 - The Thawte link routes to the correct certificate
2 - You have a link to the SA market (my main market as I am resident here). Note that operators in this market tend to offer direct bank transfers as an option and of course, the use of rands as a currency. You would definitely do better if you had these options available to players.
3 - Not really able to pick up where the owners of 3Dice gained their 10 years of experience? The success of other casinos where the owners have strong historical backgrounds exists. However, the players and other industry partners were aware of the background and used it to bolster their own and others confidence in the new operation.

In short, you have entered into a market where caution is a way of life for the participants, and by opening up (as you have so far done), you are definitely doing the right thing. I have been reading the Casinomeister Forum for years (truly although I only registered recently so I could also see the pictures of winning screenshots)! I assure you, clear and open dialogue definitely goes a long way to getting you onto my websites :) Casinomeister is the one place on the web where customer opinion is well and truly available and documented for everyone to see.

Thank you bigbcasinos, we will investigate this and see what we can do.

The group behind 3dice also owns two land based casino's in Antwerp (called 'Panache' and 'Poker Palace'). These are no 'vegas style' hotel casinos, much smaller but licensed and regulated "class II" Belgian casinos that have been very succesfull for well over a decade. Although well known in Antwerp, the lack of web-presence of these casinos will make it hard to find information about them - We'd be happy to post some pictures, addresses and telephone nrs if that would be usefull.

We realise that there's no huge land based casino or well known name behind us, and never claimed there was, we do however have the experience, and we believe our software proves that we understand the gamer and appreciate the value of quality digital entertainment.

Thank you bigbcasinos, and thanks again winbig, posts like yours prove that casinomeister indeed stands out, and we're sure that with time and experience this thread will contain a balanced and in-depth overview of its subject.

On our side, we are comitted to providing the best possible casino service, and will do everything needed to make sure that the final picture made by this thread is a pretty one.

the 3Dice team.

Thanks 3Dice for joining the forum. I've added you to the "Casino Contacts" page to allow members to contact you if issues arise.

And thanks for the explanations. It's not every day that casino reps explain the organization of their businesses in public. Looks like you are on the right track.

Ah, unable to open an account and can not access the games on the freeplay and live help unavailable and no toll free UK number.
Not my best Casino experience.
A shame because the free game competition is a good Idea.

Thanks,
I have spoken to Enzo already and it is a firewall or rarther a software problem that prevents me getting access.
AVG does not seem to like it even though I have given 3dice access.
Enzo says they are working on it and they need to because there will be an awful lot of people who just turn there backs on them without letting them know there was a problem.
As for live help it is up and running again now and support is quick and efficient.Lets hope it remains this way as site traffic increases and I hope it does as I think these Guys deserve a chance.

Awesome graphics, etc.

Wow, this casino is absolutely awesome in my opinion. The poker graphics are a kick in the butt compared to the usual boring fare. You can switch views in roulette (which by my small sample was fair in play mode 2 green, 53 black and 45 red, I was betting on red) the Tut-Ankh Amun slot was very cool. It took a little while to get used to the layout and figure out what was going on, but became second nature quickly. I'm very impressed with the whole casino layout and interactive menus. There are even three sizes you can minimize/maximize to and it has a graphics optimizer that was running at peaks of 45fps.
If I were to make any suggestion to them it would be to establish a relationship with an auditing firm, "All software has met strict criteria to guarantee fairness for our users..." just isn't enough for me. I am impressed with their transparency and their rep's proactive approach to this thread.

For complete immersion and entertainment this casino blows away anything I've seen on the web, hands down.

I agree Lojo the Graphics are excellent and the interface very user friendly.
I also like the fact that only the games you select to play are downloaded. Definately a lesson to be learned for MG there, that is if they ever decide to come back to school.
I noticed that the Two 5 Reel video slots on offer are absent from the rules guide which tells me they were an after thought. The fact that there are only Four slots in total to play suggests that they are "not quite with the times" as regards online gaming. Still, feedback such as this should help them improve things on that front.
That said, the Pharoe slot is excellent (Crisp graphics and nice animations along with nice samples creating the right ambiance) and 20 free spins with a *6 multiplier as reward for 3 scatters offers the potential for some nice hits.
I think it would probably be classed as a med/high variance slot as I can see those scatters being pretty elusive at times.

On the down side still a few bugs to iron out and as you say it would be nice to have the software verified as "fair" by someone who is not, at least, obviously associated with the Casino.

All in all very pretty but does it have substance?

My gut feeling is these guys are serious contenders. They've definitely invested in talented designers and programmers. Maybe it was launched with minor imperfections, but like you say, what better place to get feedback than here? I'm sure some Industry guys are looking them over pretty closely now.

I agree on the variance on the tomb of tut game (gut reaction, didn't chart it) I did happen to pick up a retrigger of the freespins:thumbsup: but the scatters were a long time in coming.

I couldn't see where to increase coin size though. hmm I like to increase my bets when I'm up.

As for the download, my first choice was the king tut slot and it did download other games (.arc) before it got to it, but as soon as it loaded (with a swiftness) I was able to play and it never dipped below 23 frames per second even when the other games were loading.

Lets hope this quality benchmark in casino design is backed up over the long run and they have a successful venue.
I'm off to play:D

Thank you lojo, we do have this on our planning, it is however not an overnight venture and needs to be handled with the propper attention and care.

and thank you for your kind words !

Thank you Rusty, the dev company is working hard on creating more video slots as we speak, but we do set quality demands that disallow 'copy - change some symbols and paytable' development. Each of our slot machines is carefully thought-through and a lot of attention is spent to the design.
We hope that with time this will set us apart even further from the competition, and more over that playing slots at 3Dice will simply be a more enjoyable experience.

And one more thumbs up to everyone at casinomeister for their honest consideration, and kind words.

Excellent news.
You are obviously aware of the dissatisfaction of many players with certain software providers and there insistance on churning out clone after clone.
Quality is much more important quantity in this instance.

No problems downloading or installing 3Dice. I installed to a partition rather than root drive. My C: drive has 10 G free space, the drive I installed to has 2.6 G free space.

The games will open and I can play but it is agonizingly slow, and pretty much unbearably so. There was nothing downloading in the background, and I had no other apps running. For instance, playing blackjack, it takes a full 4 seconds from the time I click the Deal button for cards to appear. On the multi-line slots, I click Max Bet and it takes a full 5 -10 seconds for the first reel to blur, then all reel positions simply change *poof* rather than spinning to new position.

I experienced no obvious problems regarding interaction w/ Norton's AV or Firewall during download or play.

I played in free, unregistered mode.

I am assuming that my computer simply doesn't have enough 'juice'.

System specs:

1.5mbp DSL

WinXP Pro SP2

Pentium4 1600MHZ
1.59 GHz, 768 MB of Ram

There is:
-Speed Normail, Fast and Turbo
-"Optimize for quality"
-Autoplay on/off + Autoplay different amounts for different winnings (game depended)
- Music and sound / no sound / sound only
- Robot deals, auto collect, dealer voice, etc, etc, etc

OS: WinXP
24/1mb - adsl (dsl)
~2Ghz /AMD + 1Gb

Sodax was paid within 1 minute - WOW. It certainly puts other casinos to shame. Lets hope its sustainable when a high volume of players come in. :)

I like the Egyptian slot, although some of the animations that come up when you get 3 of a kind are annoying - would rather see that for 5 of a kind. It would also be nice to see a choice of coin size as the max bet is 250 x .01 at present.

Im gonna give them a try next week and Ill provide some feedback.

Hi Mousey.
I assume other Casinos run fine on your PC?
What you did not list in your spec is a graphics card.
If all you have is an onboard graphics chip to help your cpu do the work of drawing then I would imagine you would suffer very low frame rates.
You can see what your FPS is in the bottom left of the screen in the 3dice tab in your taskbar.
If this is below 10 then that is your problem.
If you have a reasonable graphics card then check for the latest drivers and make sure you are using dirx 9.0c as the software should be at least playable with a moderate spec such as yours.
If you need any advice just pm me.

All other casinos run fine.

I have a nVidia Riva TNT2 (64) graphics card. I haven't checked for new drivers lately.

The frame rate in the 3Dice tab is showing as 0.24fps.

I am using Directx 9.0c and ran the diagnostics which said eveything is fine.

I'll check for new nVidia drivers tomorrow.

Thanks, Rusty.

I would seriously consider upgrading your video card. I think that's where the problem lies...

You could try to lower your refresh rate and desktop size (Down to 800x600) and see if that helps any..Even so, with only 32mb of memory, it won't run (good) higher end 3d games, etc...

What gives, in this case, is the NVIDIA Riva TNT2 Model 64 chipset, with a honking 32 megabytes of video memory. The Model 64 is a cut-down version of the full TNT2; it retains the TNT2's 128 bit data interface, but has only a 64 bit memory interface. In English, this means the Model 64 is notably slower for 3D than the "real" TNT2, but retains outrageous 2D performance - high speeds and high refresh rates at resolutions higher than 1600 by 1200 and high colour depths are easy for the Model 64, although these resolutions are of little use on monitors with a diagonal of less than 21 inches.

Also do a complete (defender, avg, et al) security check on your system and use something like crap cleaner. i have a 'slow pipe' here, 1.5mm dsl, but i keep the registry clean. (ccleaner, regedit, but crap cleaner works fine. Clear your cache, go to issues and back up before 'fixing')

Also I assume you aren't condensing your compartmental drives? I don't condense. Defragging? That's my guess if the video card review doesn't do it. A healthy system is a happy player

When all else has failed on a clean system I've gone to pcpitstop and let them active x their little hearts out (never click'd an offer there)
If you are on cable or clearstream and not landline dsl/adsl it could have been timing?

I hope you get the connectivity worked out so you can give your opinion. I was blown away by the very difference of this casino. Long time coming.

Best to you:)

Well, let's just say that I'm not throwing a new $200 graphics card into a 4+ yr old system -- especially for only one casino. And since I'm done playing for real anymore.... What's the point? I'm saving my pennies for a new system. Of course we got shut out of casinos before I could earn the extra pennies. :p

Screen resolution is at 800 x 600.

Oh.... And I defrag C: once every 2 weeks -- or after a big Windows Update, or after I do a bunch of installs/uninstalls. I will check that in a moment, tho.

Still having my coffee... Guess I'll go check the nVidia site.

I have integrated graphic card... so i get 2-5 fps (at 3Dice)*,
even latest DirectX and 1024x768

But... i still won, lol :D

...less time to lose ;)

*minimize window, so u will see fps directly

Did my usual Sunday morning maintenance -- defrag, clear out temp files, etc. Checked for updated nVidia drivers and I have the most recent for my graphics card.

Nope... no better. Uninstalled the casino.

lol 0.24 FPS now that is sllllllowwwww.
Idealy you would want 60+ but for a Casino anything around 25+ will probably surfice.
It is defiantely your video card that can not cope mousey.
By the way you could get a new pci expresss MB and bottom end pci express card with an athlon 64 processor that would run the software easily and all this for less 100

I'm throwing this p.o.s. HP into the garbage bin as soon as I can. :p I like HP printers and scanners, but have had nothing but trouble from HP computers and will never own another. And I'm sure not upgrading this one. :p

My gut feeling is these guys are serious contenders.

I played at 3Dice a month ago. My gut feeling says the same: they are ok!

Nice software, competent support and fast pay-out (I used Moneybookers).

I played and used the 110% signup bonus last night - had a good amount of play for my money but busted out on the video poker. There are heaps and heaps of VP games I have never heard of with various paytables, but none of them seemed to 'play' right to me.....maybe I had a bad session but the results on the multi-hand weren't what I expected. The graphics/effects for the multi-hand are very well presented and designed, but I cant say it is to my taste.

Still, I like the slots but I wish they would have a choice of coin size - $2.50 max bet on the Egypt one and .90c max on the animal one seems a bit silly.

If more slots with free spins etc were added I would certainly play here again, even if just for the slot play.

I did not have agood experience, the only game I wanted to play was the 25 line one, deposited and then I was informed it was not available??? I play the squirrel game instead, what a piece of S**T, I have closed my account.

Just an update, support was very good, they gave me a sorry bonus and explained that the game was down for a minimal time, hopefully things will be better this time.
