Thanks to the folks at LCB, I was alerted about these rogues this morning. Did my own bit of research, and yes they are ripping off NetEnt:
https://sussexmskpartnershipeast.com/online-casinos/reviews/affpower/

This includes Euromoon, Cosmik Casino, etc.

NetEnt have been alerted and are investigating.

Edited to add:
atlanticcasinoclub.com
euromooncasino.com
oceanbets.com
parklaneecasino.com
magikcasino.com
casinobordeaux.com
crazycasinoclub.com
slots500.com
ramsesgold.com

I'm stunned that such a big aff program is doing this. I seem to remember they allowed you to add 'free to play' games to your website, I guess most of them were ripped off?
Glad I didn't push them.

LOL - this came in over the weekend:

Another one that's connected:
oceanbets.com

Same game server as Euromoon. 24techpro.com

wolfaffiliates.com is the affy program. (great name btw)

Affpower's Caribbean casinos are run by Game Tech Group N.V. These are the ones with fake games. Affpower may come back and try to claim that Conan gaming and Game Tech are two separate groups. But that doesn't matter. They are still aiding and abetting and enabling these rogues.

And seriously, what Caribbean based casino is not directly connected to it's affiliate program?

good job guys! Im really keen to see a statement from NetEntertainment. Bryan what did they say?

They stressed the importance for players to play at trusted sites. The problem for NetEnt is that it's whack-a-mole. These crooks pop up all the time.

Players need to learn that sites like Casinomeister, or those that are listed in our recommended portals section are the sites that have got your back.

That's probably why they can offer 400% SUBs with 20x D+B on NetEnt games

Or just maybe it's more related to the fact Triomphe and the related casinos have 10xdeposit max cashout. What's 400% gonna do when you can only withdraw fraction of what you could end up with.

Btw the original post doesn't mention Triomphe yet you posted an ad about a bonus at Triomphe .. So is Triomphe in fact one of the casinos with ripped off games?

Just a question, what exactly can this "pirated" Netent software do?
Can they actually alter the RTP settings on the slots?

Or do they just use the original software without having actually a contract with Netent and thus they don't pay for the platform and probably won't pay winning players either..

What it is - they are using the stolen intellectual property of NetEnt on their own gaming engine, (the Novomatic games are probably faked as well). I am sure they are setting the RTP to anything they want since there is no compliance to anything ethical or fair. If they are brazen enough to rip off a major software provider, what do you think they are doing to their players?

And yes, casinotriomphe.com is another one.

And we are supposed to trust this compliance seal?

This is such a failure of the system.

The Curacao "regulator" is itself being questioned on its efficiency by a Dutch MP at present, but all he's getting is a bland "we're doing a great job" runaround from the island. All sorts of funny stuff going on out there.

I wonder how many Dutch players have been ripped off by these cretins. I would be livid if I was Dutch and one of these players. Cyberluck should have some liability here. They are the "regulator" and ensuring players that these casinos are properly vetted and monitored.

I am waiting for a response from Cyberluck at the moment. (Cyberluck is the master license holder for these casinos).

Hi everyone!

My name is William and I am new to the forum. I am working for an online casino in Malta.

Thanks for letting the community know about this rip off.

The method which involves checking the flash settings is apparently not 100% accurate as it is only the static assets from NetEnt (Images). A rogue casino could potentially use the original assets from the NetEnt static url.

Another way to find a FAKE NetEnt game is to click on the "tool icon" when you are in real money and click on the "GAME HISTORY" link. If there is no such link or the link is broken, the NETENT game is fake.

Hope that can help!

Will

Thanks Will! Very good point.

not that I thought they would admit that they have false NetEnt games, but here's an answer I got when I would close my account because of this.

We have an official contract with a game distributor that have a contract with Netent, our Netent games are 100% real and works normally.

What was written about our Casino is completely false and inaccurate.

If you still wish to close please let me know.

Please let me know which casino made that statement. Thanks!

Couldn't agree more - there are a small number of sites within the affiliate business that are actively trying to improve the industry rather than getting down and dirty with anyone who'll pay them. On the AffPower group, they've been rogue for a LONG time and this really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who pays attention.

Slows payments, blatantly predatory terms for both bonus and non-bonus play, knowingly working with affiliates who are engaged in large scale hacking - the list goes on and on.

Where games are pirated the 'pirater' simply creates a similar slots engine and will then usually slap the graphics from the original (or graphics close to it) over the top. There is no way of knowing how these games are configured to run. It's like taking the engine from a Lada and putting it inside a Ferrari - the car will look the same but the performance will be totally different. It's actually highly unlikely that the pirater just so happens to choose the same symbol frequency on each reel and bonus round payout to make the game the same as the original, so you can say with confidence that the one thing the pirated game won't do is function in the same manner as the original.

Another fairly common giveaway is that the standard NetEnt loading screen isn't what's displayed while loading - this wouldn't be overly difficult to fake but having seen a good number of operators running fake NE games now that's fairly consistent.

What ramifications if any does this have on Gamescale - www.gamescale.com? It was my understanding that back in 2010 Gamescale were the software provider for these AffPower casinos.

Are they a separate entity to AffPower or ultimately owned by the same individuals?

My reason for asking is that I need to update my own page concerning Gamescale accordingly if they are somehow caught up in all of this.

I don't know. Good question.

I was always under the impression that Gamescale were AffPower - I've certainly never encountered any group running this software that hasn't been AffPower or tied to them - but I could be well of base on that. Would be remarkably odd if a software company only worked with one group and wasn't related to them though.

That was also my thinking too.

I've asked AffPower if they'd like to make a public statement. Sooner or later they are going to have to. The have two licensing jurisdictions and a software provider investigating them.

I chatted with a casino customer support person at Euromoon casino who stated that the games were indeed legit, and that Netent has a contract with them. He also stated that Netent does not keep track of their servers, and that *gasp* there is a rumor that Casinomeister is being paid to smear their casinos.

Say it ain't so!! :eek2:

No comment yet from AffPower, and no more info from the Curacao licensor.

By the way, there is some misinformation in the fora - like at the GPWA - the MGA is not licensing these casinos - the casinos that hold the Malta seal are the sister sites to the ones who are hosting pirated games. The focus now should be to look at how close this licensing jurisdiction (

) is supervising their licensed casinos. At the moment, I am waiting for a statement from them on what actions they are taking - if any.

If you read this thread i had a major bug with one of these games at atlantic casino .
I play there a lot and lost a lot it seem legit but the settings are similar to the ones described in the starting post.
I speak to one of the managers and shes quite nice and gives me loads of free bonus cash.
Plus they have decided to give me 10x300 bonuses to make up for the bug .
The only problem is its impossible to make the playthrough.
anyway i asked them about the situation and the reply i got was

Everything you've been reading is bull. There are people out there trying to ruin our reputation.

We have a contract with an official company that distribute Netent Games, so our games are real.

So, don't worry, don't be afraid, everything is above board.

thoughts.

Unicorns are real.

A particularly interesting quote from that article:
... the government of Curaçao, through its company UTS and via the illegal SMS lotteries and partly illegal online casinos, is supporting the gambling industry on the island. Additionally, according to Van Raak, the Gaming Control Board still exercises no control over the online gambling.

Sorry about that. That thread appeared when I was on vacation.

As for their current statements - if they mention me or my site by name, please save the message and let me know. Thank you.
