Another one bites the dust - IGT Partners affiliate program closure

How this affiliate program got named after one of the biggest casino developers in the world I will never know. It appears to be a handful of 'probability' mobile bingo sites that will be going with it. Unlikely to affect a lot of affiliates, but still another program that will be vanishing very soon.

Very Important News:

We regret to inform you that IGT has decided to cease IGTpartners affiliate program's operations and its related casino brands with immediate effect: LadyLucks, MoobileGames, EliteMobileCasino, TouchMyBingo and VeryVegas. Here below you have the main points of the closure plan (the players have their dedicated and separated communication flow):

All casino brands will be closing on 27th November 2017. This means that all player accounts will be closed at 12.00 (Midday) on 27th November 2017.
From today 29th August 2017, on all casino brands no new player registrations will be accepted (a message will appear to the users). Existing players will be able to:
Withdraw their cash funds
Continue to make deposits
Continue to place wagers
From 13th September 2017 at 12.00 (Midday), all players will no longer be able to deposit. They will however be able to continue to withdraw their funds and place wagers with any account balance they may have until the 27th November 2017.


Your Affiliate Account and Activities:

Remove all banners/tracked URLs that link to our casino websites IMMEDIATELY - as per points above, no new player registrations will be accepted.
Remove all bonus codes related to our casino brands:
All sign-up free bonus codes expire IMMEDIATELY.
All deposit bonus codes will expire the 13th September 2017.
Customized Landing Pages will be redirected to the home pages.
Stop any kind of campaign or marketing activities for our brands IMMEDIATELY (bonus, promotions, newsletters, SMS, extra exposure, reviews etc etc).
IGTpartners affiliate program will be closing on 27th November 2017.
Remaining commissions earned during the closure period will be paid as per usual - last payment will be in December 2017 (related to November 2017 commissions).

Well that's a disappointment. They were looking at a possible Baptism by Fire.

But honestly, casinos that only take UK players are destined to fail. I would imagine that punters in the UK would be playing at the casinos that have familiar street names (Ladbrokes, Willhill, Betfred, Gala/Coral, etc.).

Funnily enough, LadyLucks and Moobilegames were (and possibly still are) pretty big in the UK, having acted quick when mobile casino started to take off. These probability-powered casinos were on TV quite a bit.

However, I have a feeling the rest of the market caught up and the probability software was a bit weak in comparison to say Playtech, Netent et al. Whether it has anything to do with the performance of these sites as to why the affiliate program is closing I don't know, but there is a chance that they have faded somewhat in the past few years.

Ladylucks sounds like someone screwed up when they bought the domain name. It should be ladysluck as in "Lady's Luck". IGT has a shitload of registered trademarked names - they could have used one of those.

Yeah, can't say I particularly like either of them as brands, however they enjoyed a period of low competition for a while, as others scrambled to build mobile compatible slots and table games.

Haven't seen any TV ads for them in a long time, which might explain a lot.

I'm not surprised by the announcement. Any casino which offers just IGT games in this day and age is never going to survive.

A few months ago they announced they were going to offer NetEnt games on all their sites, the rep joined here at CM and they were at a few conferences I attended so I thought positive changes were on the way
