Betfred balance wiped AGAIN

Few months back was playing on betfred and my balance would randomly go to £0 mid game just whole balance wiped it was a very weird regular occurence so i Stopped using them. Fast forward to Friday workmate comes into work said his entire 1k balance wiped on Friday morning during playing and putting bets on. Some further checking its happened to loads of customers and my work mates balance is still missing. Nothing from betfred to customers they are such a disgusting casino. How can balances be wiped like that? When it happened to me when I played there it was resolved but my work mate is still missing 1k and when you go on x there's tonnes of others as well still missing balances. Not one word from betfred on x but promoting bets etc just a vile company. Anybody on here had this issue?

Hes said they switched live chat off Friday and Saturday and today waited 40 mins got through and they cut him off absolutely shocking no sign of his 1k balance and all his betting history also gone. I was going to suggest him to make an account on here and do a PAB but I see betfuxkers aren't accredited and dont engage. Shysters

May sort of "Get this" situation if say it was a smaller, newer or unestablished operator...

However, Betfred, one of the largest bookie type operators out there, simply no excuse.

Hope it gets resolved and would be good to know what sort of BS explanation they offer, if they offer one at all

***update*** workmate got his balance back yesterday after threatening legal action mid week. No apologies or explanations which is shocking. He logged in yesterday and the money was sat there so he withdrew the full balance and closed his account. Im aware that things happen with websites but the lack of answers or clarification is ridiculous and shows the disdain betfred show for punters.
