Blackjack Betting Strategies

I know there are strategies to play blackjack but does anyone have any good betting strategies.

For a while I would play go to "actual" casino's and my strategy was to make an initial bet of $50 and would go all in six times. I always found you could go on streaks in blackjack so if I went on a streak while playing I would get better bang for my buck.

My bets would look like

$50 initial bet - Return $100
Bet $100 - Return $200
Bet $200 - Return $400
Bet $400 - Return $800
Bet $800 - Return $1,600
Bet $1600 - Return $3,200

If at any point I lost, I would theoretically only be down $50 per bet. I might have a bankroll of $500-$1,000 and it wouldn't work every night but It was common to get it and on a few instances the strat would win a few times in a night.

The hardest part was when I was four hands in it would be tempting to pull the $800 rather than keep going.

Anyone else have any good strat's?

I use similar, but factoring in for splits and doubles I prefer to cap it to 3 or 4 wins. Which still makes good profits on each success. And if I get a run of 6 then yeah I missed out but still win the 2 runs of 3 back to back :)

I wouldn’t like getting to a point where I wasn’t able to split, re split and double because I was on the fifth or sixth bet etc

And tbh I find the count rarely stays positive for 5/6 hands in a row 😁

Yeah I chose 6 as the final hand would be under the table max bet of $2,500 per hand. When I would get to hands 4 through to 6 I wouldn't double but its problematic if your hand is two aces.

I would regularly chicken out at hands 4 and 5 and collect my winnings as it gets incredibly annoying if you lose on hand 6. Even though your theoretically only down $50..... its a hard loss to take.

Its a lot easier to lose money if you just bet each hand, and don't have any strategy as if your on a losing streak... which happens its hard to make your money back. I'm not a fan of the martingale strategy either as you generally need a decent balance and you would need to hit before you reach the table maximum.
