bonus terms get worse and worse

Why I play slots? - to win a huge amount from a small bet.
Why I claim a bonus? - get more chances to win this huge amount.

As I start with playing slots a lot casinos offer bonuses where I could cashout my money at anytime, until I did not touch the bonus. This is are bonus, an real extra benefit from the casino.

The other kind of bonus is where I get extra cash from the casino with a few restrictions. I cannot cashout until I complete wager, I have max bet, game restrictions.
I call this a deal. Player and Casino give something away.

What I see more and more now?
I addition the wager, game restrictions and the max bet, there is a max cashout. Fist time I saw this in bohocasino - max cashout from bonus 3000€. When I play with bonus, I bet 1€ per spin. If I hit in book of something fullscreen dude, I will drop from 5000€ to 3000€. I will lose 40% of the max win.
This is the dream when you play this slot to hit fullscreen dude and this bonusterm destroy this dream. But 3000€ still 60% of this hit. I leave the bonus wounded, not dead. I will still have something to celebrate.

The new Casino like Trino Casino, Flappy Casino, All Spins Casino and many more have a max cashout of x10 the bonus or some even x5 the bonus, by a wager x40 the bonus or more. This bonusterms is a bonus for the casino not for the player. If you as player claim bonus like this, you already have lost and casino has won.
Imagine you deposit 20€ to get 20€ bonus. You hit on 1€ fulllscreen dude. You drop from 5000€ to 200€, at Trino Casino to 100€. If claim a bonus under this term you help the casino to not pay big. And by the way the wager goes up sometimes to deposit + bonus x35. It feels better to lose the deposit, that get ripped off with terms like these.

I guess the most people did not read the bonusterms thats why the casino can offer shitty bonuses like this. I cannot imagine that someone agree to this bonusterms after reading them.

When I am talking about Trino Casino, I have to ask respectfully the Casinomeister Team:
Why you write in the Trino Casino review under pros "hefty welcome bonus"?
Trino Casino mislead the player twice.
1. They write 300% on four deposits. Player did not get four times on 20€ deposit 80€ to play. It on first depost 110%, on second 75%, third 35% and on fourth 80%. This is not a 300% bonus.
2. much much even worse. Max cashout is deposit x5. You can drop from 5000€ to a pupsy 100€.

Ok it is a hefty welcome bonus. You will be traumatized until the end of your life and you will stop forever play slots, maybe.

I wait for the wager x100, max win bonus x1 and a 84%RTP

Hello there. I completely agree with what was said above. Putting a cap on winnings from a bonus effectively lowers the expected value of that bonus to zero or even below. That is far worse than simply having a wager requirement of 100x.

On the other hand I understand why casinos do it. They can promote terrible bonuses disguised as attractive offers. Most people will not read the terms and many will not even try.

This is not true. You navigate around the cap by depositing a certain amount, picking certain games and playing certain stakes. For example, there's a casino I played on that often offers 100%-150% bonuses with 30-50x wager and x10b cap.

I'd be playing 97.3% medium variance games at $6 after depositing $500. Due to the lower volatility of the slot, the $6 stake and the large deposit the problem of the cap is mostly negated and the EV is excellent (mostly due to the RTP and low wagering of x30b).

The combination that kills EV is a low cap AND a large amount of wagering (e.g. x40 deposit and bonus). You can usually work around a cap (I tend to avoid anything lower than 1000-1500 if fixed amount) and don't do lower than x5b and rarely lower than x10b) and anything up to around x40d+b/x80b is still manageable (100% and above matches)

Now obviously your statement does ring true for most players as they play what they what and play for fun (in line with terms) whilst I for example would be playing purely to profit (against the terms) but I would still encourage people, if they do play capped bonuses to be mindful of it and alter they game selections as a result.
