Bounced checks from Slotocash

I am trying everyday to get Slotocash to respond to me regarding 2 checks that have been returned to my bank as unpaid. I’ve tried live chat, emails, their contact on here and now I stumped. First know that I do not ever use bonuses or promotions. I make a large amounts of deposits. I cashed out 2 times and picked checks. They sent them quickly and I deposited the almost 6k into my bank account over a month ago. You can imagine my panic at the call from my back this week. Both checks were from different banks and both were returned as unpaid. I just want them to do the right thing. I have checked and my bank does accept international wire transfers. I’m freaking out. I loved Slotocash and don’t want to not play there. But I can’t deposit more money if they aren’t good for the money on a win. Any advice please??

Oof. That's not good. You should PM their rep @Sloto to see if she can help.

I would definitely open a BitCoin wallet and get your withdrawals that way... it just seems safer to me. There are lots of threads on this forum about it, but please feel free to PM me and I can walk you through the process of going from BitCoin to bank account. Keep us informed on where this leads, as a lot of us are concerned about a possible change in ownership at the Sloto group.

Update- I got someone to respond on your live chat that gave me a little hope. I will keep this updated until it is made right. I may be paying 250.00 a check to stop payment, but at this point....I just want my money. They were very helpful just now so let’s see!!

Ironically the person on the live chat said they had sent me an email a few days ago. I told her I haven’t gotten anything from them about this. She told me she was resending it just then. I never got hers either. I seem to have no problem getting all their promo emails....hmmm.

Did you get the email yet? I am interested to see what happened. Why do you have to pay 250 I didn't understand that bit.

I know it can be so frustrating when something goes wrong, I do hope it will be sorted out for you very soon.

I never have seen the email yet. Not the first one or the second one. Again, I get all the promo emails, so I know they have my email correct. The choices I was given was
1. Try to ask the bank to re-deposit the checks. My bank said absolutely not.
2. Get the physical checks bank from my bank somehow and return them to them.
3. pay 250.00 (each) to place a stop payment on them. I have never heard of stop payments being any more than 50.00 a pop. So yes, that’s insult to injury.
At this point they know they have me over a barrel because I need those funds back in my account ASAP! I hope the REP on here will respond to my PM, as the emails that were “sent” from the casino are obviously in a black hole. I’m am so saddened by all of this. I actually just had to bury my sister this weekend due to Covid. So this has all come at a horrible time for my family. Ugh.

When you sort this whole thing out and get your funds in order, I highly suggest that you withdraw your funds, close your bank account and
switch to a bank that can treat you with a bit more dignity, empathy and respect.

After that, as @cappync stated previously, get familiarized with the Bitcoin procedures of purchasing, depositing and withdrawing...
requesting checks from a casino is so 5 years ago and opens your rear-end up to risks and hazards such as the current situation at hand.

I would also suggest that you find another stable casino to play at, because bounced checks of this amount is no laughing matter..
I see a lack of seriousness to correct their costly mistake from Slotocash's side.. and you're having to endure all of the headache and
grief associated with this blunder due to the casino's incompetency.

Honestly, I don’t even blame my bank. They actually let me have the money to use even before the checks had actually cleared. I just thought after over a month, it was safe.
They probably would try again if I pushed the issue. I would just be horrified to have them re-credit my account and then a month later, same problem. I want them to do a bank wire so that the funds are there to make my account while again. I am going to have to learn how to use Bitcoin though. I’ve fought it, but realize now how necessary it is.
And I agree, I would think Slotocash would want to fix this ASAP. Like I said, I was spending a lot of money with them. A whole lot more than what I ever cashed out. I’m just disappointed.

Most big bank branches do if they know the customer's history. Most Credit unions do not.. but charging $250 to stop payment on a check is a major slap to the face.. Most banks charge $50.. So why the extra $200?

You should be disappointed.. any player would be. The checks bouncing is a major red flag. Have you tried Bovada.lv or Slots.lv?

I forget we aren’t all in the same country. . A stop payment is something their (@Sloto) bank would do to the checks so that someone doesn’t ask them to wire or resend another check and then still cash the others. It makes the original checks worthless, although they seemed to have become that all by themselves. Lol

I haven’t, but I will now. @Sloto is who is charging the 250.00 per check (or their banks are). That just seems over the top.
Whaaaaaaaaat? That's horrible! So Slotocash sent out worthless checks and YOU have to spend $250 (each) to stop them?
Also, they're nonchalant about it?

Of course they don't have a care in the world, they're off shore and laws don't apply to them

That was my reaction too. Like wait a minute. Now I have to pay 500 (250 for each check) because they didn’t honor the checks? Wow!! I still haven’t received any of the emails they claim they sent. Strange...

Thast disgusting, if that is the case then they should be rogue not accredited!

I would LOVE to hear back from anyone at the casino myself. I pray it was just a mistake and they will fix it. Don’t want anything else. Once they fix this, I will play there again. They’ve always been really nice to me. That’s why this is a shock to me.

We should also wait to hear back from a casino rep before judging them, right?
Thats why I said 'if that is the case'? Then tagged you so you were aware and maybe give the rep a nudge, considering he's already PM'd the rep, no reply, sent emails to customer service, no reply, and been told by live chat he has to pay $500 to stop the cheques. Thats on top of the fact the cheques he paid in bounced, I would have thought that was cause for concern, and you might want to know about it.

Yeah, I know. Thanks!

I can remember a few years back when some of the members were complaining about bounced checks, it ended up being the bank rejecting them, I recall either Jackpot Capital or Sloto writing checks from Canadian Accounts to circumenvent the US sanctions......are the checks (cheques for us Canadians) bad or has your bank just rejected them?

Hi Vgshfp10972,

I saw your message on Monday and escalated it where needed with a very high priority. I do apologise for not confirming your message, something I'll be sure to do in the future.

I've also sent you a PM and will continue to update you as soon as I have any info.

Best,
Ms Sloto

Thank you so much for responding to me. I hope we can get this resolved soon. But know that I appreciate you working on this. I have also responded to your PM.

I was wondering if you had heard anything yet, please? My bank has sent them back to the respective banks for processing a second time. I do hope there are no issues this time around.

It’s been a week since @Sloto responded on here. I should probably know soon from my bank if both of the checks from Slotocash actually get honored by their banks this time. I am not going to be happy if they aren’t honored and I end up paying 250.00 a piece to put a stop payment on them when it’s their fault and not mine. I am still crossing my fingers.

I hope it it all works out for you. I know how frustrating it is to wait around for this long. Good luck

How do you get bitcoin to bank account??

How do you get bitcoin to bank account??
In the US, I would suggest Coinbase. PayPal I believe also supports buying and selling crypto and transferring to and from wallets. They only used to allow buying and selling, not transferring, but I believe that's changed if you provide verification.

But Coinbase is the easiest and the largest crypto exchange, and in my experience the easiest to get verified with.

You should be keeping your crypto on a wallet you own (I use Exodus on PC and Android). Do not leave crypto in the hands of a casino or an exchange like Coinbase for any longer than necessary: withdraw to Exodus every time you are done playing for the day, and withdraw to Exodus after buying crypto. History tells us this is what you want to do: once-trusted exchanges like Mt.Gox, Bitfloor, FTX, and many others over the years have suddenly gone belly-up and absconded with crypto funds. Coinbase has lasted the longest, I think, out of all the majors, but you should still be cautious.

I recommend NOT transferring crypto directly from Coinbase to a gambling site: they have closed accounts because of this. Buy the crypto, transfer it to your wallet (e.g. Exodus), THEN transfer from your wallet to the casino. Same thing when you win in the reverse: withdraw crypto from casino to your own wallet, then transfer crypto to Coinbase when you are ready to sell it and cash out.

When you are ready to cash out, send your crypto to Coinbase, sell it for cash, then withdraw to bank or debit card or PayPal. Normal bank withdrawals are free and clear in 1-3 business days. In my personal experience, it's faster: if I withdraw at 1am on Monday, it's in my bank account by noon. If you need the money instantly, you'll pay a nominal fee to withdraw instantly to PayPal, debit card, or instant ACH-supporting bank account.

I do not play anywhere without crypto anymore as an American: I don't see the point in 2025 of putting up with delays for withdrawals, weekly withdrawal caps, expensive withdrawal fees, sketchy fiat e-wallets, or risky paper checks that seem to bounce fairly often these days.

With crypto, withdrawals can (and should) be instant after completing whatever KYC verification, if any, your casino requires. With Bitcoin it's instant, but you will need to wait about 2 hours for the necessary confirmations. Other crypto coins like Ripple (XRP) and Ethereum (ETH) take much less time to confirm and are, for all intents and purposes, genuinely instant.
