Good morning folks, back with another moan. Will be my last one for a while.

Decided to give a No Limit City game a go, see people bang on about this provider so often on this forum I thought why not. Wished I hadn’t have bothered. See below screen grabs of about 100 (not exhaustive) consecutive spins with about 7 spins paying back (mostly about 8 pence) off a 20p stake.

I’ve posted a screen record above of me miraculously landing three scatters (this is with the x5 booster on to guarantee 1 scatter) now ive genuinely never know anything like it. I couldn’t land 2 let alone 3 for love nor money and then popped on screen record and it lands within 10 spins. Sometimes I really do wonder with these sites and slots.

Anyway, my gripes.

1. The base game payouts are woefully bad. You can see from the grabs i had one 90p spin win, and that’s it. Dead spin after dead spin. So where’s the attraction to these NLC slots? The scatters that come once in a blue moon and that’s after you’ve spent fifty quid and get rewarded with a £3 bonus lol? Or is it the 8,100 times max win on this slot… you know that max win that’s never going to come and by the time it does you’d have spent in excess of that amount anyway?

2. The snek apparently can’t go backwards. Spin 1 of the bonus, am I being simple here or does that snek literally go back on itself after the fourth step?

3. Has anyone played this slot and ever seen the MAX and WIN coin land, even if it’s on different rows. In excess of 300 spins and didn’t see either coin once even for a tease.

4. At this stage, I need some genuine advice about which slot providers to play with. Pragmatic are my favourite but that’s simply because of the aesthetics of the slots - the payouts have become horrendous in recent weeks / months (bar a couple of max wins for me over the past 2 years or so). And NLC are clearly the most volatile slots out there that don’t even pay remotely anything on base game spins.

What is a good return to player slot that players are genuinely seeing as a fair go at a game for the customer? Because this is no fun. These screen grabs I’ve posted, how can anyone call that fun? It’s daylight robbery. I use to enjoy slots but again, I’m getting incredibly close to jacking it in (as per my thread a few days ago on the scarab queen).

Cheers for any advice.

You're playing with the xbet turned on which on Brick Snake really really harms the base game hit frequency as while it gives you an extra scatter it removes an entire row from the base game. So you're trading off for slightly increased bonus frequency and a higher max win frequency in theory for a more dead base game.

That's the danger though with that game is that there has to be a trade off for the ~8kx max win to be 1 in ~98000 spins it has to have periods where it's insanely brutal.

I don't touch them at all any more, as that gameplay is about typical. Used to be a low stakes NLC player but it's all just smoke and mirrors in my experience, accepting a dead base game in return for a "theoretical" massive max win that never comes. Once you've played a few you've played them all, and when you've had a few hundred bonuses you realise you're never getting through that invisible glass ceiling as far as win multiplier is concerned.
