At the SIGMA world iGaming Awards sponsored by Sol Casino, Chipmonkz won the "best responsible streamer". Can someone tell me exactly about this incident list is responsible for?

IncidentComments
Used underage daughter (25 and less for UKGC) to promote gambling channelWas "not aware" that this was a rule and then deleted the videos.
Promoted his gambling channel on his under-18 Pokemon Channel"Oversight" by his web developer, although the same grammar he uses was on the post. This is disputed.
Website Casino links had no Terms & Conditions"Oversight" by his web developer. He then "accidentally" left his Skype open on Stream to show a discussion with his affiliate manager regarding how compliant he wants to be
Moves to Ireland to bypass UKGC regulation"business decision"
Continual recourse and slander regarding regulation in general are seen in the attached videos with comments regarding HMRCRequest for comment
Advertises UKGC Licensed Casino videos on YouTube with no Age GatingIn breach of LCCP. (6.1) The rules are if you are promoting to the UK market, for UKGC licensed casinos you MUST have age verification. It is a MUST not anything else. It doesn't matter if you stream from London, Ireland, China or Australia, if you are targeting UK customers the rules apply. When Gavin a staff member asked where everyone is from in Video 2345124 - as of August 91% of the responses were UK - the Casino at the time Playgrand has a UK licence.

I would say Chipmonkz is a very driven man in the hard business sense, the thing about this award though and taking into acount these incidents you've listed, is the competition he's up against. Awarding it to Chip despite not being a saint just shows how bad or irresponsible the rest of the streamers must be.

all gambling industry is corrupt, this is the biggest joke on gambling industry that monkey he bets 40 60 a spins many times, I dont think any adult watch monkey gamble, and most of his Sub on youtube he paid for it, like 80% of his subs are fake

Pretty certain I have seen all of these incidents mentioned at some point in the forum.

He is about as responsible as Michael Jackson on a balcony with a baby being supervised by Joe Biden.

I have just been sent a Tweet from the person in question stating that these points are not true. I asked the person who provided me the list, with sources, and here they are. Every single point above:

Using someone under the age of 25 to advertise: UK Gambling commission to look into £2 stake limit for online slots. Decision within 6 months - Page 5 - Casinomeister Forum
Using pokemon channel to advertise gambling: casinogrounds.com/forum/topic/35920-im-just-going-to-leave-this-here/?do=findComment&comment=182001

As I can't link to his site due to CM rules, as of today there are a few websites with no terms on the website.

Has anyone seen Random Michael's streaming sessions? I think this guy is quite funny and entertaining. He does promote casinos and warns to play responsibly whenever he can, but indulges himself in staking very large amounts (sometimes even in the range of €100 - €250), often on Pragmatic Play slots.

Michael is great fun; it's a shame he's gone to massive stakes, but clearly that's what the audience wants. And he's not afraid of uploading losing sessions - he's always clear that the risk of playing huge stakes (or indeed any) is that ultimately you can and will lose.

He's obviously got some link with Pragmatic as he does actively promote their new slots, but clearly also has favourites; usually ends up back on Sweet Bonanza/Fruit Party and Razor Shark after a couple of weeks.

(Arguably, as he's not from the UK, he doesn't HAVE to be as giving as clear messaging about responsible gaming as he does. He could just stop mentioning the one or two UK casinos he promotes and he'd be just as well.)

??? Chip on his fake name

I don't know much about these awards. or their 'standing' or worth in the casino realm, but I do know one person who's definitely happy about this outcome: Playford

Rumour has it they'll get him to present the awards personally

If you can't stand the heat - get out of the kitchen. If you are going to put yourself out there in the public fora, then you need to grow some thick skin and ignore shit. I have had my share of personal attacks online, but the only time I either took legal action or stated that I would take it was when some a-holes violated our intellectual property, copyright, trademark infringement, etc., not when people were talking smack.

I say job well done on receiving this award. And there are plenty of folks in this forum who are his friends and would say the same thing. He was banned from this forum in April 2021 for posting defamatory comments on his twitter channel (violation of Casinomeister forum rule 1.19). I never threatened legal action because of the bullshit he was posting, I just banned his account.

Which actually miffed me a bit since I have actually defended this guy publicly and privately when folks were having a go at him. He was too busy burning bridges to keep that in mind I guess.

Don't usually let streamers or dodgy affy's bother me but just looking at this bloke twat winds me up!

His whole demeanor and body language give off the "Suckers fell for it again, I really don't give a flying fuck and will get away with this as long as I can!" attitude.

I don't get it when these streamers say we are going to be more responsible and reduce our stake. So are they saying they were irresponsible before?

Not sure if any of this is truly award-worthy in itself, but end of the day Señor Chip's only playing the system as it currently stands. Because as we know, platform hosts and regulatory bodies are apathetic to actual problem gambling & gambling safety, and whatever things they've set in place are about ten years too late.

Also not his 'fault' as it were that he can resume his antics in Ireland - that's on the Irish government.

So whilst not exactly a paragon of virtue, and skirting around every ethical boundary in terms of Responsible Gambling towards his viewership, the sole reason he does what he does is because he can. And if not him, it'd just be someone else.

I hear opinion towards him is rather fruity, but I'm completely apathetic to it, because we ought to lay his rise to infamy at the door of those that have enabled it. Fact is he'd relocate to Venezuela if it meant continuing his shtick, because as we know, laws in regards to these things (not the temporary Mickey Mouse virtual signalling ones, but actual ones) are more porous than my bank statement after mistakenly handing my debit card to the missus to 'buy some bits' ?

But I guess in this day and age, simply stating one's 'responsible' is the equivalent of actually being responsible. Say it enough and you'll even get awards in your honour, whilst those that act responsibly, well.......you'll just never hear of them. You have to announce it, you see?

Has he had his teeth done or something as he looks different in the video? Not much improvement though, if any

Yes he’s not much different to the other’s who thrive on encouraging people to gamble.

That’s the basic business model of all these lot isn’t it?

Those that never gambled or knew fuck all about gambling in general and then become affiliates to pedal it to others are just that much more of a c**t than those that have gambled and been involved in gambling before becoming an affiliate.

Whilst the end goal is the same for both an affiliate turned gambler irks me that little bit more.

One can relate to Rocknrolla more than Chip or one of his payed staff for that very reason. Even if, as I say the end goal is the same.

Plus the chimps that these people employ to shout and scream when they get a big win or decent feature are just completely nauseating to watch as it’s not even their fucking money.

I obviously don’t watch him. He was a person of interest back in the day as I would watch gambling related content. When I realised he was utterly clueless about the industry and gambling in general I switched off.

Probably just transplanted the teeth from all those who have hit their faces off the wall in replicating his 40 quid stakes.
Whilst I may agree on some points , anybody who replicates stakes do so at their own responsibility regardless of who showcases it and how it is advertised . These people are adults if you watch a guy doing £40 quid stakes and think you have a chance with your £200 wages that’s on you ( not you personally the people themselves )

Agree, but when said persons are benefiting financially from such it does complicate the argument a bit. You're advertising a product and all that entails so there comes with obligations and duties with that. But you're right, with that comes the personal responsibility on the part of the individual.

He diminishes any responsibility by saying when he is at that kind of stake “ do not copy me you won’t win”
He’s always been good at covering his arse mate one of the reasons he’s never had videos taken down , copyright etc he’s always ahead of it, like when he says “check our review to the casinos” , this is because if you say check our affiliate link YouTube take it down .

If i walk into a pub and there's a drunk, arms flailing but having a great time i don't expect him to owe any duty to anyone - his pickled liver is his business

Where i find that someone is gulping down pints, showing me how it should be done but then finding out the beer is 0% (like his actually money staked) and he's taking a % of my pint payment, i might have a different view.

Looking on Twitter etc though, there are some real thickos who think he's the second coming. The only second coming following him is the second lot of bailiff's turning up at your house.

Isn't this the same guy who has non-disclosure agreements on all his deposits at sponsored casinos?

I haven't seen many of his videos recently, but I remember his videos from his garage in Newark a few years ago. It was Christmas Day, and you could hear his son knocking on the door and calling Daddy. Add his move to Ireland, leaving family behind doesn't make responsible father material.

The world has gone mad.

"Daddy, Daddy, Are you coming its Christmas and we haven't seen you yet, your dinner is on the table"

"FFS, Not now son, I'm busy lying to a bunch of addicted fools who would rather watch me and gamble than enjoy Christmas"

Yeah, I can be like a dog with a bone on the odd occasion, more so when bored.

UKGC have ruined this industry with awful, ridiculous, pointless, needless changes, yet this W*nk8R continues to flount his top quality BS!

I don't know for sure, because I can't stand the guy and avoid his channel, but always assumed most of these streamer "moves to Ireland" were via a VPN and a set change, rather than physical.

I think they use Microsoft Remote Desktop to connect to pc on Ireland ,it show local ip in Ireland, all they need to pc on Ireland that could be anyone even internet caffe

OK - enough already on the personal insults towards this guy. I know that the whole streaming market is a controversial one, and this is a market that deserves scrutiny and criticism, but when you start making personal insults, you have lost the plot.

If you want to have a go at the streaming community - be my guest - but when you start digging in to someone's personal life and making comments about their appearance, well that is below what this forum is all about. So please don't. Have a private chat about that - just not here. Thank you.

When he sits on a video chat for hours telling someone in Ireland what bets to place, where to place it, what size, etc etc on what to do is this not betting by proxy?

If casinos allow this sort of remote set up how can they assure that people are not self excluded

He isn’t remotely set up mate or appears he or his staff are physically in Ireland , no evidence to suggest otherwise . Tbh mate it’s all irrelevant if he works for the casino there not going to be bothered where he is located or not and there’s only them that would know there not going to confiscate funds that likely they give him in the first place .
