Does Anybody Still Play at Playtech Casinos

Over the past few weeks I have been playing at various playtech casinos after a period away from them. I found the whole experience so disappointing.

When I log in at a certain casinos I get live chat hosts who don't leave me alone until I had deposited.I know they were just trying to be helpful but I'm not a new player at the casino.I find it annoying when i'm quite happily spinning a dialogue box pops up telling me all sorts of guff.

They seemed to be monitoring my movements in the casino itself.I had a withdrawal rejected, as my bank were doing a security check and immediately the live chat came up "I see you have just been rejected a deposit".Also why are they telling me that certain slots are "paying" tonight and I should play them and its always Easter Surprise slot and that's probably the worst and tightest slots ever.

Then when you want help the Live Chat activation is hopeless. You get a blank dialogue box with no info on it about if the chat is queued ,available or even connecting.Ive seen myself waiting for 25 minutes without a peep from Live Chat and getting no time out message or further info the way you get at MGS Live chats.

Then I fell into the automatic bonuses trap at one casino I deposited £50 and was immediately awarded a (20%) £10 bonus.I tried chat but no answer so played on it.Then I was shocked to find my WR was £900 for a £10 bonus, joke!

Then there is the slots themselves all seem to be super high variance, even on low rolling I found that I needed 200x my stake as a deposit to get a bonus. The marvel slots have a terrible pause up to 5 seconds between a winning spin and the next spin. After many years of play Ive still to see a progressive on these.

The newer slots seem to have a big variance on the stake its either 1 or 5 coins and upwards per line on a quite a few of the slots.I think this may be be different from casino to casino. But as a low rolling player playing 2 and 4 coins a spin I find this annoying it may be OK in other currencies but not the £.
For instance a 25 line slot lowest bet £0.25 next highest bet £1.25.

I did enjoy the playtech software in the past but I cant just seem to get ahead on it anymore. The slots seem a whole lot tighter, you need to go in with a big bankroll even low rolling on the slots.

I had a quick scan through the Winners Screenshots and I was hard pushed to find playtech screenshots.I suppose that says a lot about where people are avoiding these days.

I used to play a lot at Euro grand IMO they cap their win payout. Most Playtech have gone down the tubes. Omni is the only one I see that is accredited. I don't rec. playtech unless you just want playtime to low roll. Stick to Dr. Lovemore, Lotto Madness, Desert Treasure, A Night Out. 2 features or a double trigger then run. I put 10's of thousands into the marvel's and never saw a jackpot screen.

I very much like Playtech, although I'll admit to not much luck with the marvel slots either.

There are several accredited Playtech casinos, I'd give Bet365 a solid recommendation. If you tell the bonus team you know where to find them and not interupt your play, they will generally respect that.

As a Canadian I'm not accepted at Paddy Power, but I've seen pretty much nothing but praise for them here.

Just like any slot with a progressive, part of the RTP is tied up with it, and when you consider there are players with $100 spins (and more) your chance at even a low level jackpot are slim.

I had some pretty good luck last year at Club Gold (non-accredited, so read and make up your own mind and keep the fact there are monthly cashout limits in mind).

As I understand it, like MG, Playtech slots play the same at all casinos.

Great Blue is very capable of great wins (think there's a recent one in 1000x thread), and I'm a big fan of Penguin Vacation as well.

I love many of the games for colour and reel action.

I'm distrustful of any casino offering "tips". Random is random.

Last night was the end for me I rattled through £250 over several deposits on many slots.I don't find the bonuses very random either they seem to all be at a certain level no matter how many times you activate them.

For instance I played diamond valley and every bonus round was same spins same multiplier over eight activations.

Also On Gladiator its obvious what bonus your gonna get after the the first box picked.....
If its a 7 you end up with 12 or 14 FS with 2x or a rare 3x multiplier and no extra scatter or wild.
If if your very lucky and its a 4 you end up with a maximum 8 or 9 FS with a 2x multiplier and definitely an extra scatter and sometime the rare extra wild.

But I agree Great Blue is one of my all time favourite slots but even that seems to be always cold now.

I am generally a fan of Playtech games and still dabble but because the new games aren't really doing it for me, I am playing a lot more MGS, Novomatic and WMS at the moment. The only new Playtech games that grabbed me really were John Wayne and Thor but the new "double-up" bet-increments thing is a major issue for me - just not enough flexibility anymore (and similarly poor implementation on their mobile games too unfortunately) so I've gradually lost interest.

Hear what you are saying about getting bugged and hassled but now all the bookies pretty much are on Playtech you don't need to go overseas if you don't want to and you don't have to put up with stupid 2-4 day reverse & cash-out times anymore either. But if I were to venture "offshore" then yeah, Omni would be my pick too.

They'll be back. Some great new games planned this year: Avengers, Superman etc. If they implement them properly it could be a good year.

The slot selection is a mixed bag wherever you play Will-hill doesn't have the Marilyn Monroe slot. Some don't have Gladiator and there is a clone of the Gladiator slot,I cant remember the name but it only seems to be at a few casinos.

As for the 4 days pending period that's nothing more than a con to make you reverse.I especially hate that you cant reverse part of it, like you can at MGS casinos.

I don't hold out much hope as these are Marvel Slots and most of the RTP will be paying for the license no doubt. The best playtech slots are the non branded ones imo.

Atlantis Queen

True, although IM2 and F4 are very good IMO. Have you tried 6 Million Dollar Man yet? If you haven't: you're not missing much

I only ever seen that slot (Atlantic Queen) at Gala Casino my account is closed there now.Yeah its the exact same slot as Gladiator without the license percentage or the lower RTP of the progressive version,a good thing!

Ive tried all the new slots none really float my boat. The sopranos can be ok-ish has a TS2,IR,Finer reels progressive bonus. Not played it long enough to see all the different choices.

It's at Fred's, Bet365 and SIA now (which actually, like Omni, is another good offshore Playtech I forgot to mention earlier).

There ya go:

I used to play them. I haven't for a couple of years. 96-hour pending unless at a bookie's casino in most cases. Crazy bonus WR and highish variance. Features seem few and far between. In fact they are feature-loaded; don't get feature(s) and your play is awful. As the OP says how many Playtechs do you see in winner screenshots? Either because few play them, or there's a dearth of decent wins. Plus Playtech have been associated with many rogues in the past. Not interested in 'em at all.

If you don't like Playtech slots then steer well clear of their blackjack. It is uncanny how often the dealer makes blackjack from a 10 upcard and don't even get me started on how often the player will lose on 20 with the dealer managing to make 21 in all sorts of weird and wonderful ways.

I hate PlayTech. All the slots "feel" the same (if that makes sense). They all spin the same, sound the same, pay the same (ie crap), very much like RTG.
I have never settled into playing at a PlayTech Casino. I'll make a deposit, get a bonus, then half way through (if I'm lucky to make it that far)...

Quick spin, quick spin, quick spin, lose, lose, lose, lose, lose....
Balance Gone, uninstall casino.
Question why I bother trying.

Actually, I recently tried to close my Boyle Casino account with £39 left in my balance. I told them I couldn't stomach another mind-numbing spin.
But the CS guy talked me into playing off the balance first (which - I timed it - took less than 30 seconds), then I closed my account.

I actually really like many of the older Playtech slots (not tried many of the newer ones).
The ONLY reason I don't play at Playtechs these days is I don't get any decent bonus offers :(

Give me a 100% bonus of at least £/€100, with WR (D+B)x15 and CASHABLE... and I would be in there in a flash!
C'mon Playtech casinos; If MG casinos can do it, why can't you?

I used to play it A LOT once upon a time... About a year back.

I played the Marvel Slots mostly and dabbled on Great Blue... The Irish Game and Penguin vacation. I played at Betfred, Paddy and Boyle.

I would get weekly promos but just stopped depositing because loyalty and comps were scarce and the Casinos were stingy in general.

I lost overall at Betfred but didn't go back because getting a comp outta them was like asking for a spaceship to visit Mars. Aaron did help once or twice but in general i'm losing far more than I have withdrawn.

Paddy Power has an awful loyalty program and a very unresponsive VIP Manager (She will ignore you and won't reply for weeks then come up with a sad story of how busy she was) I finished a few thousand ahead but they downgraded my VIP status very quickly when I didn't return. All that mumbo jumbo in their VIP section is total nonsense and I never experienced any decent VIP Treatment. Now they expect me to play to reach that level again... I think NOT

I still play at Boyle but rarely touch their Playtech Casino... I'm on my way out the door there too. I'm losing quite a big chunk and it doesn't seem like it will be changing anytime soon. Dead or Alive there seems to be one of the worst money suckers from all Casino's I have ever played. I constantly lose... win once and then it eats me alive for months:confused:.

In general, I have been an OK to a very decent depositor at all 3. Out of the lot, Boyle has been the kindest but I'm losing there more often than elsewhere.

Playtech Slots are OK ... I enjoyed Fantastic 4... Hulk and Ironman2. My Biggest hit was on the HUlk for about 1000x Bet - Ironman2 RARELY even dishes out a hit above 100x - But I still enjoy playing them..

Again, I will have to agree that Playtech has been falling from grace steadily over the last few years. I think of it as another RTG... Which I don't really enjoy much.

On the Upside, Boyle and Paddy are some of the fastest paying Casinos.

I'm enjoying Playtech in 2013.

As far as slots are concerned if I am playing at a Playtech casino I want to see all three of Great Blue, Marilyn Monroe and Penguin Vacation (which are very much geared towards a similar experience, variance and gameplay preference) and it is frustrating when they are not all available as mentioned. (eg Gala has all three but Hills just has Great Blue)

As for marvel, I do still run a bit of my balance through Elektra but as mentioned the freeze while it checks the progressive takes a bit of the fun out of the play. You end up staring at a spin button pleading with it to go white...

As for low variance WR grinding affairs, I'm a bit tired of A Night Out and favour Halloween Fortune these days. In both cases you're waiting for Reels 1 and 5 to drop in the bonus round but Halloween Fortune at least has a bit more to entertain in between times.

Well my last Playtech casino account got closed today.I thought I would have one last deposit of £30 and on 0.15 and 0.20 bets lasted 5 mins no bonuses.I get the feeling this software is geared towards high rollers who can spin to a bonus round.

On another note when i asked to close my account. The rep told me I should try playing Penguin Vacation as that was where my luck was.

So that's where it was! Ive been looking for that for like 6 weeks now.

Having moaned about Playtech bj earlier in this thread,i got a 50% bonus at Boyles and was gradually grinding my way through a wagering requirement and just about holding my own. After taking a break and then logging in again i got a message saying the bonus would expire in 24 hours, first time i have ever known this.So upped my bet to £2 a spin, hit the features on The Mummy which paid £672 and ended up cashing out a profit £759.My views on Playtech may be changing.......:D

seems like I might be in the minority but i really, really like playtech slots , in fact it is probably my favourite software along with netent. I love great blue, penguin vacation, safari heat and its clone panther moon and i have had some really great wins on each of these but I have to say im not a big fan of their newer slots at all.

Even though its probably my favourite softwares i don't actually play at playtech casinos that often because bonus offers are rare/non-existent/poor. I happily deposit at netent casinos all the time without taking bonuses because i usually get good playtime but with playtech bonuses would really help because if your going to play a high variance slot like great blue(which i always do because it is my all time favourite game), even on min bet your balance can be sucked down to $0 in the blink of an eye so its nice to be able have some bonus $ to boost your bank roll and give you a bit more playtime. Im also with kasino king here in that i don't understand why playtech casinos cant offer players decent bonuses like MG do, if they did they might find that more people will decide to play there

I used to love playtech casinos but as many have mentioned they have been pretty meh lately...or even annoying. I mostly prefer netent or microgaming nowadays.

playtech slots are great although i only play captains treasure , great blue , irsihluck all machines with those scatters ,ive had some great sessions about 3 weeks ago i played some on the new ones got my arse spanked on all of them.

playtech machines are high veri , but when they pay they pay big , you just have to stick with the same machines for longer periods of time 1- 6 months they tend to come true in regards paying , but mainly your get no playtime then have a session over over 6 hours of hitting it takes a while to get used to them.

i dont play at any playtech casino weekly any longer but did at omni casino a while ago ,come to think of it that was my last cashout a few weeks ago on a deposit of 30 quid cashed out 400 , lucky though car broke down so that covered my repairs ( thanks omni ) since then havnt played , just stick with same machines & it will happen but be aware you may get very poor play time )
