I loved the earlier thread about "Favorite Slots" but its discouraging to read about the games so many people are enthused about --- but then most of them are not available to the US based players.

My thoughts were to steal that good thread idea but then have it be here and focused solely on games available for US.

Flying Fortunes sounds really cool as a name for a slot, but its either Flying Coulors or Future Fortunes.
So please enlighten me!

No one else likes "Return of the Rudolph" ----- its crazy nuts. I deposited $200 this afternoon (no bonus taken) and ran in up to $6300 in about 20 minutes. Now the discipline kicks in though - the tough part.

(side bar --- as the big time bonus chaser, for some reason I didn't apply for a bonus with this deposit. i had been doing well and as we all know that WR can be a bear when you win big early in the bonus.) So I didn't claim one. It was so liberating!!! To know that I could just request a cashout any time I wanted. I now understand better why many say never to take a bonus.

I have another problem though, but a good problem I have to wait to cash out ont his win. I already cashed out the $3000 max earlier this week (same lovely Rudolph game..) from Aladdin's Gold so now I have to sit tight until next Tuesday when I can request another cashout. It will "kill" me to do it -- but I must have some discipline maintained for 2011. Lord knows I struggled with it in 2010.

So now I am playing Rudolph at some of the other RTG sites instead so I don't play all my profits away.

I have tried Rudolph so many times because Ihave seen screenshots here, but I have never hit anything..Maybe I am not putting enough in..If I don't hit anything on 50.00 I move on...

At B&M casinos most of my time is spent in the live poker room, but when I do play slots I am ADDICTED to Betti the Yetti and second place would be Cleopatra II.

Decided it was too good of a day to stop gambling. Went back to casino to play Betti and Cleo. Don't laugh, but I put the $3000 VP poker in my bra as a way of ensuring I didn't give it all back. Took same $600 from earlier starting bankroll to play Cleo and Betti. I couldn't lose. I had so many jackpots I could keep track. Finally had an attendant watch my machine, went to bathroom to count my money. I had $7000 more!!! Ok, put the $7000 in my bra with the other $3k and now I am walking around with $10k in my bra (kinda lumpy - but who cares??)

I want to also thank those that responded to the "Favorite Slots" thread both mine for the US and the original one from the other poster.

Through these responses, I decided to try both Ronin and Paydirt @ RTG. I really hadn't given these games a try in the past. Creature of habit, prolly like most of the others we tend to stick to our "favorite" games.

Bottom line, I won huge on both Ronin and Paydirt. Without this forum, I wouldn't have tried those games.

So MANY THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. I have gained so much info, friendship, comfort and now money as a result of everyone's generous contributions of their gaming experiences.

Yes, you get a 1099-G whenever the "game" pays $1200 or more. In that regard indian casinos are the same as any other B&M casino. For your federal tax return you can deduct your losses from your wins assuming you itemize yoru deductions. But for WI residents, we must pay state income tax on all our winnings and can NOT deduct our losses.

The only way around this would be declare yourself a Professional Gambler and then you can deduct your losses, expenses, etc. I am actually considering this (lightly considering it...)

I liked playing cleo to but i never played cleo 2, cant its not open to Canadian players. But on the subject of fav games MG thunderstruck won 10,000 and 28,500
thunderstruck 2, 5000 and 10,000 and last but least playtech Thai Paradise 72,000

Usually start at $2-3.00 and go up if I win. Most often its $5 on average session.

Bad luck has set in though at that game. Now I am doing best at Paydirt and Mystic Dragon. Both played as a result of recc from this thread, so thanks to all of you.
