Review:

Seems very low RTP: in addition to lockinlove's warning about 90% this is not available in many UK places including those listed in the OP. I eventually found it at 92% at 10bet, which is very low for them.

As for the gameplay it's a standard book (in the feature a symbol is selected to fill the reels and pay all lines, 3 scatters adds a special symbol) game, with the standard Egypt theme. The music is good and the symbols are well structured but really nothing, (other than the low RTP) to distinguish it from any of the other Legacy of Dead clones. If I could find it at 96% I'd play it the same as I play other book games, but nothing special stands out.

I only played Legacy of Ramses Book for about 30 minutes but it gave me the feeling I had been playing it for years and indeed I had because as far as I can tell, this is a game that offers nothing new whatsoever. It is neat that you can get multiple expanding symbols as you keep retriggering the bonus game but this has also been done before, and in the single feature I got during my session I didn't even get a tease for a retrigger, and I just lose interest when retriggers feel hard to achieve.
It appeals to me that the game has all these golden colours, but it couldn't perform accordingly as I fairly quick lost a 100x and struggled to hit even 10x wins.
I'm not sure I'll revisit this one as there are other equally concepted games that I have put far more spins into and probably would be closer to hitting something on.

Sorry, I will not be taking part in this comp, gamomat are a predatory provider with at least two stake bug issues that have still not been resolved since there last Halloween comp, despite saying they would be.

The very fact that they are still using games that have a bug that after setting to 20p mostly on mobile iPad etc that can still play at £2 is disgraceful as well as selecting down bet on min bet goes to max bet, which if you experience any lag you can bet accidentally on max bet, without realising, no thanks!

How there games get through UKGC compliance is beyond me, well it isn’t really as they are bloody useless, so of course they get through.

This is of course only my opinion, but players beware and I personally would avoid this provider like the plague.

My thoughts on the game.

So I hate to be a downer and no doubt this will scupper my chance of winning lol but I'm struggling to find positive things to say about the game. It's your standard book game, no gimics, nothing to make it stand out. Graphics are passable, but really nothing special. I like the music though.

Issues I have:

1. Seems hard to find on a UK casino and then where it is RTP is low. Obviously not a fan of low RTP games.
2. No spacebar spin. Why do I have to click spin with the mouse? Should be an option to use spacebar too.
3. Bonus teasing. This is just preference but I much prefer when you've got 2 scatters for the reels to slow spin and tease the 3rd rather than zooming around and suddenly dropping.
4. Bonus is too disjointed. Can't spins happen automatically? Why does it have to be clicked for every individual spin.
5. Base game extremely dry. I know it's hard for a book game to pay in the base game but still. I got a bonus on my 3rd or 4th spin that paid 44x. It then proceeded to eat nearly 150x doing next to nothing but paying the odd 0.5-3x hits. Very depressing watching the balance drop so fast.

Final thoughts. Would I play the game again? Not unless you offered a 96% version and added spacebar play. Would I recommend the game to someone else? Afraid not. There's a ton of book games out there and they just offer a better experience overall.

I did get very lucky with 3 bonuses overall so I came away a winner but I could easily have lost a lot trying to chase those 10x hits. Last bonus I had the top symbol which was pretty exciting though he did of course barely show up.

My review:

I am not a fan of the game at all. The entire game play is terrible because it is all on lowered rtp. So it makes hitting anything very difficult and quite the money eater. I have no idea why gamomat would have a contest for players to go lose money on some extremely low rtp slot. So I find that incredibly strange. I had no idea gamomat allowed this on their slots or that they can alter the rtp. I noticed the game paying terribly and then I went to the help files and found the terrible rtp.

Not a fan of anything. The graphics generic and boring. The game play empty because the low rtp. The game disconnects and is slow. Overall F- game

You want an honest players review? There it is.

Entry 5: Review of the game

Legacy of Ramses Book offers nothing groundbreaking as a new game. It's exactly the same as PnG's Legacy of Dead, Novomatic's Book of Ra Magic or Merkur's Magic Mirror Deluxe II. This one would've made an impression if it was released in 2018. Anyway, I digress a little. The game has the newer Gamomat user interface and slightly updated graphics but other than that it's just the Ramses Book symbols we're used to see.

Gamomat already has a 5 liner in their library with multiple symbols activating on a retrigger: Crystal Ball Multi Symbols. Of course a 10 liner had to be made but I don't know why it couldn't have been an original theme, or even the Crazy Chicken theme that's been on the shelf for a while. The casino I played on didn't have the full RTP version but only 94.13% which is just not enough for a high volatility game. I managed to get 2 bonuses during my review session but didn't see their potential, both of them gave me a lower tier symbol and didn't retrigger. Plenty of 0.5x 3oak wins and 2 books teasing in the base game but my, albeit small, balance went down fast.

I have been a fan of the provider for a while and titles like Fort Brave, La Dolce Vita (the original "fishing" game?) and Old Fisherman are games I still go back to. This one? One and done I'm afraid, not because of the RTP because I'm sure the full RTP one will show up somewhere in due time but because it's not the style of game I enjoy. Please don't release a clone of Gates of Olympus next.

Kudos for having the balls to show the RTP during gameplay tho. I think you're the only provider that does that.

feedback:
another game with a well known mechanic. much better than the original since its now a "legacy" version ie u can get more symbols to expand.
what makes this a little different than most others is that u can chose betwewen 5 and 10 lines.
for me personal the 5 line setup was much better than playing with 10 lines

i kinda like the oldstyle look and sounds of gamomat games, so i give the game a 6,5* out of 10*
