Fun fact: I went to the game to see how many bees I already had in the hive without it bursting, so I did 1 spin to check the server response with the number of bees.
I got a bonus in the first spin for 600x
And I'm at 109 bee's without getting a single super bonus

It uses the triggering bet, but it doesn't really matter because the "collection" is mostly for show - each upgrade unlock a marginally better maths model (96.31%, 96.40%, 96.51%, 96.59% and 96.74%) and that's it. All the streamer talk about "building up" the hive is mostly baloney to get you to raise your bets.

RTP doesnt change. No matter what situation "the Swarm" is.
It only adds variance where you fill it with low stake and see how good it pays in basegame etc. just to raise the stake to burst the Swarn and hope to get the feature soon. Sometimes it comes, sometimes it doesnt. Just like every other game

Yes it does - it's not significant (0.43% bottom to top) but there is a change.
A lot of that narrative has come from the streamers as well (some of whom have since had paid partnerships with Push Gaming), and you have to wonder where they got that from. The "collection" element of the first four levels is so minimal as to be irrelevant, so it's not completely dishonest as the "three pots" meta is, but it's not much better.
The inference is that Wild Swarm 2 is similar to games like The Dark Knight Rises (before it was patched) - where you can generate an advantage by raising your bets correctly. It isn't, and never will be.
