Hi everybody,

Anthony here. Located in Canada.

Have been a lurker of the forum for a while but just signed up in order to submit a complaint. However now that i'm signed up I do intend to stick around and contribute to discussions as Im always thrilled to have fellow online gamblers to commiserate and/or celebrate with.

So thanks for having me and see you all around.

Thanks max, I reviewed those materials and then drafted up a complaint I was intending to submit, but right before submitting I saw the alert that directed not to submit with you guys if im having the conflict looked into through any other channel. I currently have an open complaint with Casino Guru on the matter so i did not submit*. I either missed this part of the rules and procedures when reading through all your resources before hand or misinterpreted to mean not to submit a complaint if i had already posted about the issue on the Casinomeister Forum (which i have not). Anyhow, all good. The Casino Guru process was starting to look ineffective as the casino was not responding to the complaint but ever Casino Guru granted an extension for the timeframe in which they could reply to my submission, just last night they did respond .. so we'll see where it leads.

My question now is: If the Casin Guru process doesnt get resolved in my favour, would Casinomeister consider assisting me with the issue once the Casino Guru process has wrapped up? I understand you would need to understand the details of my complaint and the reason why i didnt conclude in my favour previously, but would you consider taking it on if after your review you felt my matter had been dealt with unfairly? Or would you not even look into it because you wont assist with a complaint if its been part of any other process whatsoever?

*My initial tactic was to bombard the casino with formal complaints and online reviews left, right and centre - thinking that would make them want to correct their behaviour so i would stop my rampage... but i guess thats not an approach casinomeister finds appropriate or productive. i will take note of this if i find myself in a similar situation in the future :)

Hi, no problem, sometimes the difference in procedures between Casinomeister and elsewhere is a little confusing.

So, to begin, the only time we have a problem with a new PAB is if that same issue is already being handled elsewhere. Think of it like having a dance partner: unless the people you are dancing with are actively coordinating their efforts — which we and Guru, for example, do not — then it’s probably best to stick with one at a time. That’s where our “not active elsewhere” rule comes from, keeping the focus on one set of efforts at a time in order to not make a mess of things.
  • So if your issue at Guru is a different issue than you are asking us to look into: no problem, please proceed.
  • If your issue at Guru is finished there and you want us to look into it: (maybe) no problem, it’s worth asking.
We totally understand that when people get to the point where they need help with an issue their instinct can be to fire out as many as possible with the idea that more is better. Unfortunately that is seldom the case because a casino that is being assaulted with a bunch of complaints on the same issue from multiple sources tends to simply slam the door and dig in their heels. As you may imagine that is not a great time to start trying to calmly negotiate with them, which is the approach we’ve found to be far more successful.

Anyway, I hope some of that is helpful.
