HIPPO JO LAUNCHES WITH RTG SOFTWARE

Experienced Aussie online gambling know-how is behind this newcomer

Making its debut in the online gambling industry this week is a new RealTime Gaming powered online casino branded Hippo Jo.com. With wagering in British pounds or Euros, the newcomer is offering over eighty games and a tiered bonus structure.

New players who sign up are eligible for a 150 percent signup maxed at Euro 150 and carrying a wagering requirement of 25 x d+b. Players who return for another crack at the games can claim a 100 percent bonus maxed at Euro 100 with a wager thru' of x 20 d+b, and on the third visit a 300 percent bonus is available maxed at Euro 300 and carrying a wagerthru' of x40 d+b.

The site is clean and professional looking, with round-the-clock Support. In the event of any disputes that cannot be settled at casino level, the management have agreed an arrangement whereby the independent advocacy services of the experienced Casinomeister portal will be called in - a similar arrangement to that which Casinomeister has with Intercasino.

HippJo is owned by a Cyprus registered company called Trustbond Services Limited, and we can reveal that the substantial backers have retained the services of a highly experienced and respected Australian online gambling consultant.

The Terms and Conditions contain a refreshing and welcome change, which is sufficiently remarkable for us to quote here as a benchmark for other operators:

The Site Use Agreement assures players that HippoJo will never change the T&Cs retroactively. There is also a condition that says "If we [HippoJo] have made an error of fact with conditions they will be honoured until amended and published." All versions of the T&Cs will be available from the website and will be datetime stamped for the safety of players."

Marketing for Hippo Jo will be carried out by Four Monkeys Pty Ltd, along with day-to-day operations, affiliate and advertiser management, as well as the call centre and payments processing. The Four Monkeys team has been involved in online casinos since 1999 and originates from the early days of the industry when it was involved in setting up an online casino for the Queensland State Government.

Unfortunately, for now Hippo Jo will not be accepting US players.

It's unfortunate that certain other RTG casinos do not follow these principles.

Minimum Deposit is 30.- and there are not really much deposit options available, only neteller, mycitadel, creditcards and wire transfer.

no moneybookers or anything else :(

Checked it out

Hey there, Yep checked it out. I was able to join cause I'm im in Canada. Played it out (the bonus that is) was doing ok at jacks or better, then switched to slots, should of stayed at the poker. Thanks for this post, I'm looking for new Casinos after some crap from another one.

They're claiming sussexmskpartnershipeast.com, and all decisions are final, but they ask to contact them first, wait seven days etc. The submit button doesn't go here, it's their cgi

<input type="submit" name="ctl00$InternalContent$btnSubmit" value="Submit" onclick="javascript:WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions(new WebForm_PostBackOptions(&quot;ctl00$InternalContent$btnSubmit&quot;, &quot;&quot;, true, &quot;&quot;, &quot;&quot;, false, false))" id="ctl00_InternalContent_btnSubmit" />

and we guess, its not Bryan?!!
Again his trademark rights violated?
Maybe the make up a new record for getting on the rogue list:D :D

Bryan has confirmed this arrangement.

We process withdrawal requests each and every business day and they usually take 2 - 4 days to get to you

Why does it take so long?

That's not really fast for a RTG Casino, because normally you get paid at the same day and at most it takes not longer than 12 hours.

Thanks. Got it!
maybe i have made up a new record for a post with no substanical content?!:what:

I dont think, the meister would cooperate with them if he hadnt all informations about the people and their business.
He has a reputation beyond repute, but could easily loose some of it, if his name were connected with crookies. So i think: he trusts them. And from here to the accredited list its not a giant leap for hippojo.

What casinos do only have one way of contacting them? I have tried to contact them via email, and they do not answer. I need to speak to them.

PM me your HippoJo account details and I'll raise your concern with them that they don't answer emails.

In the past, I also escalated a very good suggestion that Rettahs had made with regard to Hype Gaming. Can't make promises, but I can escalate issues.

Thanks for your information, but that's now for me a fact, that i will never play there wiht real money!

Looks like, that someone is wrong with their!

I'm having a small problem with the signup bonus (have completed the wagering but it's still not withdrawable) and am also unsure of what documents I need to send having deposited and wanting to withdraw via neteller. I emailed from my hotmail account yesterday but no reply yet...

Short Sighted.

It is very short sighted to only have one means of communication, especially one known for having problems with certain ISP setups. With no alternative, players simply cannot get any help from support to try to resolve the issue, they are effectively cut off from communication till they find an alternative, which in this case had to be a public posting asking for help. Unanswered E-mails can be a technical problem, however, it is also a deliberate policy of the rogue operator, and until the deadlock can be broken an ignored player cannot know which they are dealing with.

Since Bryan has them on board, even if not accredited, this allows for another route of contact, and hopefully a rep will follow. It is worth finding out WHY the E-mails bounced, so if any other players have a similar problem they have an idea how to get round it.

Hello there,

I did a withdrawal on the 18th of April at Hippojo casino. Until now I still haven't received my withdrawal and i have been waiting for more than 3 weeks now. I emailed the support several times, but they keep saying that the accountant department will email me as soon as possible. Until today I still haven't heard anything from the accountant department. The support says they only can apologise for the delay. Can someone help me with this?

Best regards,

Gerdjie Zhou

That's too long a delay in payout - suggest you submit a PAB to the 'Meister who is officially mediating for this operation.

I did the 8 freebie a couple of weeks ago, and cleared the WR and currently have 164 Pounds sitting in my account. I emailed them my docs, and got confirmation that they were received. Only problem is that currently they only offer Neteller and MyCitadel as withdrawal options, and neither one is viable for me here in Canada. So I emailed them and asked if they have any plans to introduce new payment options, and was told that they expect to have Moneybookers online mid-May. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this holds true.

The only options when I signed up were Pounds or Euros, so I chose Pounds. Hope that won't be a problem when cashing out? I figured that being in Canada, I'm more closely linked with the UK, than the rest of Europe. It was a pretty decent n/d offer.....if I do eventually get paid, 160 pounds translates to around $300 Canadian. Keeping my fingers crossed.

nice score pina! i made it up to GBP 29 on the free 8, with good hits on food fight (hit the bonus round and five tomatoes on the same spin) and achilles (2 freespins rounds in 50 spins, only 10x bet return though). still undecided if i will do the signup, the generous bonus is only for slots, and 40(d+b) for the all games bonus is okay but not great. i'm going to sleep on it i think. and just a random rant, what kind of store is closed only on tuesdays? i went to buy a betta fish today and the only pet store near my neighbourhood is closed today. imagine that. i hope it means they will have nice new fish tomorrow!

E-mail

Surely if they knew the industry they would be well aware of the bouncing E-mail issue faced by some players. This is why an alternative form of communication should be set up BEFORE they open for business. Currently it seems the next step up from an E-mail is to call in the arbitration! This is not how a good business should be run. There should be internal means of bringing this up, such as a phone number, so players can at least raise the issue that they have sent E-mails without reply. Sometimes the casino IS replying, but for some reason cannot get through, but from the players' perspective they are just being ignored, and will rapidly form the impression they were mistaken in believing the casino was well run.
The casino then has the problem of barely having started before being inundated with problems, and a failing reputation.

Do they have a rep here yet? This would offer another route (forum PM) to sort out the E-mail issues.

I would become interested as they offer pounds, so no Neteller fees sucking at my bankroll.

The emails from support to Chiboy were bouncing.

I'll give them a suggestion to have a rep sign up here.

That was one of my points, how was Chiboy meant to raise this with the casino, and how were the casino to tell Chiboy their E-mails were bouncing. If the casino had evidence of the bouncing, why did THEY not phone Chiboy to say so, given that they must have the phone number from registration.

There are going to be players with this problem who do not see this thread (not members here), and as far as they are concerned this will just be "another bad RTG - just like the rest".

As well as having a rep, they need to implement a policy of phoning players where they know there is a problem getting back to the by E-mail. The players affected at least have the chance to see if the problem is their end.
This problem with bouncing E-mails is getting worse, there are frequent complaints like this where it turns out the E-mails are bouncing from either side, sometimes for no obvious reason.

hello there,

My emails were not bouncing. They received my emails, but they just did not answer sometimes. I sent them about 9 or 10 emails, and i got seven emails back from them. But the problem is solved now and i received my money!:) It is weird that when i mentioned 'casinomeister' in my email that they were acting faster than ever.

how does hj's comp points system go? i could not find info about this or the withdrawal methods on their website. i had great luck with their 100 GBP all games sign up bonus, using 10-20 GBP bets (20 being the max allowed in interest of fair play of course;)) in pontoon i have got my balance as high as 1340 and currently i am at 1000 even and i have accumulated 487 comp points since depositing (also have two comp points from the free 8 offer), and my balance now shows as 1000 withdrawable, where when i started it was 200 in bonus (non-withdrawable, my 100 plus bonus 100, until wagering met). so it seems i have fulfilled my requirements, yes? for this to be the case it should be 20 in bets for one point (wr is 40(d+b) or 8000) or so.

however, when i played the first time at inetbet, my balance came up withdrawable when i had only met half the requirement. is this some kind of rtg glitch, or maybe even a "tool" for those bad rtg casinos that confiscate when early cashouts are tried? i hope i am clear of the requirements now, because 1000 on a 100 deposit, in pounds no less, is a very good return and i would be quite happy to bank this win and not let it slip like i have with many others lately.

anyways, i think i probably have to send in documents before i can withdraw, and even then i don't know how i'll get paid in canada, i think someone mentioned hj is getting moneybookers linked up soon? so now i just have to let it sit and not gamble it away while i wait for responses, and assuming i'm clear of the playthrough, for a way to begin a cashout. i am glad a new rtg came out with the support of casinomeister, because indeed the software itself is beautiful and i find i do well on their card games in my somewhat limited experience. are they becoming accredited? i am going to pm the rep right now so she/he looks here to my question.
