Question How much do you trust predictive analytics in Baccarat?

Hello everyone,

As a developer working on AI-driven SaaS for i-Gaming (SMTT.AI), I've been diving deep into pattern analysis and probability models.

We all know Baccarat is essentially a 50/50 game, but I've been testing an AI model that claims to find "stronger signals" based on historical data. We even stream our analysis 24/7 on YouTube to keep everything transparent.

I’m curious about your thoughts:

  1. Do you believe AI can truly identify short-term patterns, or is it all just "gambler's fallacy"?
  2. For those who use tools, what is the #1 thing you look for? (Transparency, speed, or historical accuracy?)
I'm not here to sell anything today—I just want to hear from experienced players and veterans in this forum to improve our model. Any feedback (even harsh ones) is welcome.

Its a gamblers fallacy.

True random events are not predictable and, in essence, do not contain any real exploitable patterns. It is simply in human nature to look for patterns, even when they are just coincidences. Even if someone believes they have found so-called short-term patterns, the real question is how that could be applied to future betting decisions, since past events do not influence future ones in any way.

The only things that can make random events not truly random are human influence, such as imperfect shuffling, or flaws in the physical device itself. But in this era, and with todays iGaming technology, that seems highly unlikely.

Surely the odds change based on what’s left in the deck, same a blackjack? My mate bets on ties, when the count is high, he seems to do well tbh, as for how he predicts banker or player he just follows the last result mostly I think.

I agree that with the gaming technology they would try and make it impossible to predict, you can guarantee for every way a player could get an edge, they will have multiple ways to counter it.

They use 6,7,8 deck shoes and swap them out before they're anywhere close to being empty, that's why advantaged blackjack players run around looking for casinos with specific blackjack setups and why you can't find those same setups online.
