If you were given $1,000 to gamble with, no strings attached, how would you spend it?

Hello everyone,

I was curious to hear different perspectives from the community. Imagine someone handed you $1,000 purely for gambling, with no strings attached and no expectations. Just free money to play with. How would you approach it?

Would you go all in on one big bet, spread it out over several games, stick to your favorite casino classics, or maybe try something completely new like sports betting or poker tournaments?

I think the answers could be really interesting because everyone has a different risk appetite and strategy when it comes to gambling. I'm looking forward to hearing how you would spend that $1,000 and why.

Wait for it...

I would go to one of those fantastic sites that offer 150% RTP fake slots, turn the balance into 15,000 in an hour then pay $150 to verify my account to withdraw the free money.

All in on something 50/50 first BJ or Baccarat. Then I will sort of play with a objective to lose max $1000. Maybe win a lot more, maybe walk away with 1000. But before investing all that time better to double or nothing in 5 seconds :P

Good luck finding Great Blue!

You probably have more luck finding the Tasmanian Devil or a White Rhino.
But I found Elvis though, alive and singing at IGT and WMS! 🧑‍🎤

I would find a half decent casino which carried Playtech's Great Blue and bet a minimum $/£10 a spin and see if I hit a nice bonus :D
I was suckered in by that game for a couple of sessions, you get drawn in by looking at the huge line pays, stacked symbols and multi-thousands-times-stake potential. Fortunately I realized very fast this was in reality unachievable and in the decade since I've often checked for evidence someone had hit one of those monster wins. Evidence of which there came none.

Mate, I have had sessions where I have gone literally hundreds of spins without even a sniff of hitting the feature.

But there have been others, where 33 spins and 8x multiplier comes in and well, Happy Days!

Simplistic yet awesome game and one of my all time faves :D
Any screenshots of multiplied 1+ 5OAKs of the top symbol/wilds anyone??

I remember your Great Blue sessions. You posted quite a few screenies back in the day.

I played that slot because of you :)

What was your biggest hit?

we are showing our age LOL.

A few grand. Best ever hits were believe it or not on Hellboy at AllSlots - Tombraider at Roxy Palace was also another big one. Then there was the time I pummelled Bryan's Partner Logic affiliate account into the stone age, having signed up to InterCasino under him. On the Cryptologic King Kong, it went nuts, as did my stakes as my bankroll climbed. Over £30k I think.

But lots and lots of barren spells inbetween. So overall I guess I am down. In fact don't want to think about it LOL

One day I will fish out my old Dell XPS PC, that runs Windows 7 and boot it up and gather all my old screenshots :D

Approach it with caution as there are so many ways to proceed with it!
You can low roll it, live stream with that balance, personally I'd do bonus buys with $100 or less in the hopes of getting lucky to earn more. Other things I'd do with the 1k would be to find a youtube coach who's great at investments and stocks (based on their reviews as well as other people's experiences) and just have the money sitting there as it accrues over time. Reasonably spend half on stocks, a quarter on gambling and the other quarter for needs.
