Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 7 ends on January 14, 2020. Microsoft is urging people to upgrade to Windows 10 as soon as possible.
Your computer will still function and you will not notice any immediate changes. However, after January 14, 2020, Microsoft will no longer provide security updates, software updates, or technical support for Windows 7.


This means that your computer may become more vulnerable to various security risks such as malware attacks.

I'm old school for sure. So much so, that w7 will most likely be the last window$ version I'll use. Just bought a new laptop which did come with w10, but Linux will be on all my computers by the end of this year.
