Indigo Magic (Bragg) error/availability?

So I ran into an error when trying to play slots by the provider Indigo Magic, at two different casinos (Videoslots and Energy Casino).

This is the error in real money play:

Of course, I contacted customer support at both, and they were about as helpful as you might expect online casino customer support to be (not at all). They gave the usual spiel: try it on a different device and browser, clear cache, incognito... all of which I did, of course, to no avail. Videoslots' customer support even claim to have escalated it to the relevant department AND fixed the issue... Nope.

Then I went through a website that can list a catalog of casinos that have slots from a specific provider.
I went to many of these casinos and found out Indigo Magic slots show this same kind of error on a lot of them, but worked on some.

Has anyone ran into this error or have a clue what the heck is going on? Some kind of regional restriction based on license?

My guess. Is you can no longer play that provider, as a Canadian it happens all the time . Someone signs a new agreement and suddenly you can’t play your fav game;

Just last week I can no longer play anything from Push Gaming ; before the last it was No Limit, last year couldn’t play Thunderkick and now I can at some a not all places.

When this has happened to me it sometimes took a couple of weeks for the Casinos to all catch up and have that provider no longer available in your region

Is the provider available in your region? Sometimes errors like these pop up because a provider is not available in your jurisdiction.
Maybe @AlexBragg can help.
That's what I suspected, but I don't know where I would check if it's supposed to available or not.
Usually if it's not available they show a message clearly saying that it's not available in your region.

Interesting, I can play Push Gaming from both Videoslots and Energy, but not at some others. I wonder if they're the slow ones who haven't put the restrictions for Push Gaming up yet.

Did you get any spins in at all? Because, while playing, this error happens all the time on their slots.
The old F5 usually does the trick - untill the next error message some 20 spins later.
Also beware that after reloading, the bet size will be set back at the default 2 or so euros.

Well for me I am in Canada, but not Ontario, and Push Gaming signed an agreement with Ontario; and one of the caveats of this agreement is they remove their games from all provinces except Ont (I don’t think it says that literally but the legal kung -fu backflips in a way that it does- someone smarter than me can explain that part better I am sure !) and as BC does not have a similar agreement or any agreements with any providers, They geolock the province . That being said I noticed I can still play PUSH at VS …

Nah, the games don't start up at all.

But they work on Casombie.

Videoslots and Energy are MGA, Casombie is Anjouan. I just went through a few more casinos and the MGA/CGB ones don't work, the Anjouan or unlicensed ones work.....

So it appears likely MGA and CGB licensed casinos aren't allowed to let Indigo Magic slots be played where I am (non-Ontario Canada). It would be nice if they gave a proper message to the user!

I would love it if there was a place where you could review what providers are geolocked from who or where; I’m assuming the providers have to send this information out initially to the casinos when there is a change

I know I can’t play Netent, No limit, Blueprint, Scientific, BTG , now Push + Thunderkick , with the latter only available to me the last week. But I only know this when attempting to play a particular slot.
A couple of years ago I remember Netent was unavailable, then available then not, so for what’ver reasons it seems somewhat fluid

I don’t know how much work it would be to maintain or create this my IT skills stretch to knowing how to clear my cache and loggin off and on again.
Would it be that complicated to find a way to scrape the public News release or notices sent to Casinos from providers when they are adding or removing regions, or maybe @maxd @dunover Casinomeister already get this info as an insider or can get info and have as a resource on the site for players ?

@hubbadubbadingdong

I doubt they publicize these things, so it would be a hassle to set up and maintain a dedicated page or wiki IMO. I think demo mode is enough to tell you if a game is restricted and then you can try to demo on a casino with a different license to see if you can play there.

Just gonna have to accept opening up accounts at many casinos covering the different licenses and providers of games we want to play. I'm fine with that.

Nope demo mode means nothing ; I can play demo some games.

Well the provider has to change their settings ; and I’m on it guessing but I’m pretty confident they would at least be letting the Igaming platform where they are being hosted but granted I doubt it’s uniformly done
