You obviously know the Super Gaminator games so I won't go into them but they are generally high variance so be warned. Shame they don't have of the game packs with Katana on as that has an ace free spin feature.

50 Lions and Miss Kitty are Aristocrat games and worth a play - good free spin features: 50 Lions has stacked wilds and lions in the free spins and more are added to each reel after each spin (10) while Miss Kitty has sticky wilds on reels 2-5 in the feature - both are 50 paylines. 50 Lions is very similar to Novo's Indian Spirit if you know that one except the triggers are on reels 1-3 rather than 2-4. Of the IGT games, Cleopatra 2 is one of my favourites - you get the feature quite regularly and an increasing multiplier. Noah's Ark is basically Cats - OK but lower variance and hard to trigger the feature. Interesting to see Black Knight in there - presumably the WMS game? That's got a really good feature with sticky expanding wilds! Rawhide is quite good too.

The few ive played at a land based casino:

Book of Ra - 9 lines, but can be good.
Kaboom - 20 lines, with falling/exploding reels. Was a bit fun.
Enchanted Unicorn - 20 lines, with 3 wild lines on reel 2,3,4. Got 5 i a row with the best symbols 1 time = a nice win.

Harlequin Hearts and Miss kitty are basically clones of each other, sticky wilds on each and possible to have the whole screen full of wilds. I prefer Miss Kitty if you can find one of the old Aristocrat machines.

50 Dragons is awesome, an all-ways-pay game. Feature gives you five options of different amount of free spins vs multiplier. I always go the highest multiplier as it's got allot more potential compared to the other options.

More Chillis is fun, you can unlock four screens depending on the amount of chilli symbols through out the free spins, the two last screens have wild symbols on the last two reels which can amount to some pretty big wins.

Give them a shot, unfortunately Microgaming don't have clones of the above games

Depends of the variance you like?

For extreme high variance then Wicked Winnings II and Wicked Winnings III. For lower variance the More Hearts series (more hearts, more chilli and more pearls) is fun. I tend to prefer Aristocrat and Konami slots, but IGT, Bally and WMS make good ones too.

Best is to try them to see which ones you like the most, otherwise you can watch Youtube videos, they are pretty much all there.

You should also check out Wild Panda, don't know if you've ever played it before... Got a whole bunch of pandas (wild symbols) and those little pagoda thinggies and won $100 on a 50c bet (being a little cheap, as i just got there). I need to start recording these features on a mobile.

You're right, I meant 5 Dragons. Play Choy Sun Doa as well, which is awesome! Do the same thing, the highest multiplier. I actually like 50 lions as well. That game can pay well even on a low bet, once won about fifty dollars off 25c which was good as i was running out of money. Started machine hopping again after that lol!

In all fairness that's very low. Around here lower denomination slots have a 90-92% RTP and higher denomination slots are in the 93-96% range. Most online casinos are still better, though.

I never thought to check and see if the RTP had remained the same or not, but this maybe a reason they are a bit higher than normal?

Back to the topic at hand, my favourite land based slots used to be Where's The Gold, King of Asia (Choy Son Doa), Wild Panda, 50 Lions, Wolf Run (love anything that has stacked symbols), Lucky 88.

The land based offerings from the designers of the RTG slots are also quite fun and contain 3 tier jackpots, I started playing these a far bit when visiting land based casinos, sorry I can't think of the names now but I do remember Dogboy (cm member) who worked for them.

I have two of them near me, next time I'll go to the other one and check the RTP on their machines, was just surprising to find most of the machines were set around the 90% mark.

P.s. I agree about the jackpots, only they haven't removed them. Just drastically reduced the chance of them hitting. I love the TRAINS!! I know they are predetermined features, but it's still fun trying to hit the buttons at the right time. Sometimes you can get three trains in a row... Something else that Microgaming is missing is a random Jackpot, where you win something no matter what. Like Money Chimes, or the Trains, or the Horse Races on Kanomi machines.

Some of those are my favorite machines, have you ever tried 1000 pandas? It's a 2c denomination machine, There are 50 lines but I play it when I'm running low and take it down to 25 lines. Gotten some good $50 - $75 hits.

Not prominent at all. Aristocrat takes the lead as they are an Australian based company. Most of the games at my local pokie den (lol!) are Aristocrat, around about ten Kanomi games, and a few IGT.

Australia dosent have allot of games that are available in other areas of the world, like the the Wizard of Oz or Monopoly slots (both of which I'd really like to play). We are way behind. Microgaming slots are awesome, I'd never dispute that. They really have the fun part down pat (Gold Factory comes to mind).


P.s. Aristocrat games are actually my favorite. Other brands just lack in that psychologically rewarding manner addicts seem to love! Personally for me the rewarding feeling adds to the fun of the game, which can also be seen on video games that reward trophies for completing different tasks.

sounds very good, unfortunately i can only play Novomatic slots in landbased casinos, because Switzerland is not allowed to play Novomatic at Quasargaming and other sites... WMS and NOVOMATIC are the only brands we can't play online, don't know why...
