New UK (Max RTP) Casino

Wondering what RTP is? Find out here at Casinomeister
Can't see this posted anywhere but Merkur recently.launched their new online casino in the UK.

Only.posting because they are offering all adjustable slots such as NetEnt and Red Tiger at Max RTP, although the selection of providers is limited, but thought it worth a tip off given the current state of UK RTP.
Noticed Merkur just opened a B&M shop in town too.

From my initial impression it seems decent enough in its simplicity; a smattering of games catering to various tastes, though perhaps just too wanting in terms of quantity, which could benefit with another five or six titles in its portfolio.

Too many of the 'same' types of games, i.e two incarnations of Ted, Cleopatra and so forth, which could be better replaced with another.

Overall it has enough variety to bankroll a session or two, and the streamlined approach reminds me of getting the basics right without being snowed under with pages of unneeded guff, aka 'less is more'.

Doesn't appear to take Paypal, from what I saw. Not overly enthused at mingling future gambling transactions with my grocery shopping and Direct Debits to be honest. AnD nO BoNaNzA?? wHy GoD???

Of course this will all count for zippo should they rescind their top-RTP exhibit, be like all the other money-grubbers, and join the ranks of the defiled ?

God knows what the bank think when looking over my spends. Costa Coffee, Morrisons, Costa Coffee, Videoslots, Videoslots, Morrisons, Costa Coffee...Probably along the lines of 'what a sad bastard'.

Life of a single man eh

The back story here appears to be that the site is through a start-up white label operation, in which the parent company of Merkur, Gausselmann, has a stake. One can only assume that the game selection will get better in time.

One to watch, for sure. A genuinely new casino on max RTP is like a Unicorn these days.

Well, Merkur/Blueprint don’t do variable RTP. And given the site’s focus is naturally their own IP, it would take a change in strategy across the board for them to lower the RTP.

And the name of the casino is?

As people are aware I have handed my towel in at VS so I am now in the market for a new casino, I still play at pokerstars and party casino though!

Merkur Slots dot com. Not sure if we are allowed to post non-accredited links so I didn't.

I don't think this will be your cup of tea after VS, they literally only have about 100 slots, so it's not ready for prime time but good to add to the watch list.

Ok thanks. Well I am sure they will add more slots in the future. Plus I suppose they will have pretty much every one of their own slots available too.

EDIT: WOW........ I just looked at the All Games tab and they do not even have their own slots listed? Are you actually sure Merkur own this casino and are running it? I mean if they was surely they would have their own slots available?

In the small print at the bottom it shows this.... "Eyas Gaming Limited" So I am not even sure Merkur even do own this casino. Maybe they are just being naughty and using the Merkur name? or they have been given permission to use it by Merkur Gaming?

Would be worse with a misprint on your statement saying Videosluts instead.

You can afford Costa coffee?? :eek2::eek:

As I posted in this thread, Merkur own a stake in Eyas Gaming Limited.
Ok I see,

I mean yeah I see also in the footer of their site they list the slot providers and edict is listed. Yet for some strange reason they still have not added any of their own slots to the casino lol

I mean does not make much sense really when the name of the casino is Merkur hahahaha

?

I’m never out of the place. I think I’m addicted to coffee ?
I can afford a budget jar of crappy coffee and chickory from Lidl, occasionally running to a jar of Nescafe instant granules in prosperous times.

He's a casino affiliate. It'll be the finest beans to cup, through a £2000 machine imported direct from Italy, and drunk from gold plated mugs.
I was looking at barista coffee machines a few weeks back and there are some real nice ones on the market if you’ve got deep pockets (some getting up towards £1000). Settled for a Swan £150 jobby in the end and it’s good enough.

Alright, calm down.

Have I told you about the milk frother yet?

???

Milk in a coffee? Are you nuts? hahahaha

I stopped drinking milk about 6 years ago to help stop my IBS from triggering. I just drink decaf black coffee now. As dunover said if I can not afford the nescafe or other nice brand then I just stump to the tesco decaf gold one instead.

Gonzo's Quest Megaways has 95.8% RTP on Merkur - I'm sure it was originally higher than this. Almost impossible to prove now though.

I think the Megaways version has always been at that point - Red Tiger* always skew lower - there are lower versions available as well. It's not even worth considering playing on less than 94% - it doesn't tumble, and that game is hard enough to bonus anyway.

Never liked Gonzo's bonus mechanic of the bonus symbols needing to occur on (at least) reels 1, 2 and 3. Completely removes any suspense as to whether it may drop in (except in tumbles, which don't happen in the ruined versions anyway.)

* Autocorrect changed that to Red Tight, which is probably apt, but I changed it back anyway.

Some sites have GQM at 90% - unreal - just damaging both brands - they'll pay in the long run

GQM at 95.8% is pretty much "deluxe setting" for the UK and quite hard to find. Most sites have it at 94%, and obviously the usual scum sites have it at 90%.

Yet to find the super mega hyper 98% version anywhere. Even offshore it's on 95.8%.

Yes, I keep meaning to get one of these considering my insane heart-murmuring consumption of coffee and fussy choices. So anybody who can recommend a good relaible coffee machine that actually serves up hot tasty coffee and not tepid piss that's colder than my missus within 5 minutes of hitting the cup, I'd be grateful. I'll go up to 1-1.2k in budget, nothing ridiculously expensive like machines you get in coffee bars.

P.S. Oh yeah, that uses beans and not those fucking plastic capsules like a works canteen.

Yeah the one I bought isn’t hot enough for my liking, that’s its down side.

No idea what the obsession is with lukewarm coffee these days. When I go to Costa I have to ask for ‘extra hot’ just to get it served normal temperature (well, normal temperature to me).

That's the one I bought...typically reduced by £20 since I bought it

Yes, it seems that's the bugbear surrounding these machines, the temperature, most reviews mention that it isn't piping hot.....

Tried clicking that, but to no avail. Do links not work from the North?:p

But from that picture, it looks pretty swish. On the lookout for a good coffee machine ourselves, and some of them enter the realm of 'eye-watering' when it comes to price. Still, it's gotta beat those coffee 'pressers' we've been forced to endure

Get yourself into Currys PC World or somewhere like that. They have quite a few on display to check out ? Sage coffee machines are very good but very pricey.

As much as I WANT to post some wisecrack, the NEED to stay quiet is prevailing.

I've always generally maintained that filters are the way to go because of their versatility, but I've definitely got one eye on 'Bean-to-cup' variants to really enrich the flavour. But it must have an integrated grinder or forget about it already
