Loyalty to country? Spouse? Political party? Ideals?
Nope, not talking about those!
Are you "loyal" to your casinos? If so, to what end? When does your loyalty wane?
In my mind, I have often compared my casino loyalty to my history of managing an autobody paint & supply store.
We had customers, regular customers, that came in almost every single day. Granted their orders were no where near the orders of the big body shops.
The big body shops spent a lot, but, they had to be coddled. Spoiled to a degree. Plus since they were big, they got discounts, sometimes BIG discounts. They would order about once a month, filling their paint rooms with their needs for the next month. Their paint rooms, where they mixed the colors, were fully stocked by us, on consignment. They paid for the products after they used them and ordered more.
And the least little problem they may have had, they would say... "take it all out and we'll buy from the other guys."
Our corporate offices hounded us to get these big dealerships on board.
Whereas I saw things differently. All those little guys combined probably spent just as much if not more. They were more than happy to buy from us, and they kept us busy. They were loyal to US!
Those were the customers I appreciated more.
I know this is really a different scenario than casinos, but it feels kind of similar to me.
Casinos get the daily players, religiously depositing, playing and crossing their fingers for a great, or even good win. EVERY SINGLE DAY!
Then they have the ones that come in drop hundreds or a thousand. They are instantly a VIP. If they win big, many take the money and run, then come back a month or two later when the JP's are high. Granted this may not be the case in most sites. This is just my view.
I only have 2 casinos I have played for close to 15 yrs. One, I have spent much more. Yet the other gives me a good freebie about every 3 months.
This is just my opinion.
