"The situation takes away a large piece from my belief in fair play, humanity in general and good ethics and morals."

“That a company, that is our competitor, can hire a company like Black Cube, hide underneath several layers of other companies and fabricate false statements about us to harm our business and reputation, is just so bad that it is hard to understand.”

At the time of writing this post, Playtech's share price has plummeted some 35%!!!!

If this is true, that’s... quite the PR strategy. “When in doubt, hire spies”:D:D
Jokes aside, stuff like this just drags the whole industry down. We’re supposed to be moving toward transparency, not secret-agent nonsense. Hope someone gets to the bottom of it soon.

Salut!

Keeps it interesting though. Kind of like Casino Royale, but no Martini's 🍸

£1.8m??? That's approximately the amount they stole didn't end up paying that Joyland Progressive winner some 20 years ago. Ironic really.

Reminds me of the Cambridge Analytica affair in the election media posting a while back.

Were they simply trying to devalue Evolution to make them vulnerable to a cheap takeover by, er.. let me guess???

Have you seen anything good come out of Playtech in the last 10 years? All I have seen is a whole heap of acquisitions and an abandonment of their slots rollout. They have dabbled in Live Dealer stuff, but they always seem to be chasing others, typically, Evolution, surprise surprise...

A bit like MG, got big, ran out of ideas, but had to keep the shareholders happy.

I could be wrong, but it just feels like PT got left behind.

They bought Quickspin to make up for the failure of their new game creativity, but I am still trying to guess their motive for this particular skullduggery?

That’s insane. I wonder if regulators will actually take action after this. Does anyone know if Evolution plans to sue?
