Roobet unethical practices - need help

Hello my name is Christopher and I have came across this site through research online when trying to find out how to get help in regards to an online casino roobet allowing for my now ex girlfriends underage kid to register multiple accounts and sign up and deposit large sums of crypto all without ever once asking for him to verify his age.. He was also accessing the site from a region they restrict.. Roobet has ignored, blocked all forms of communication attempts in regards to this matter, and has also not provided the requested information about the accounts opened by the minor... Theve produced only transaction details for 2 of the 5 known accounts that were opened showing a total of $37,000 deposited with $517,000 wagered. So the true loss isn't known until they produce the account data for the remaining 3 accounts.

Hi @Mrcash23

I am making an assumption that you are based in California, as that is what your profile says.

Roobet has a interesting history on the forum and there are several threads indicating a lack of responsibility by this company when it comes to taking care of its customers.

First recommendation
  • Gather detailed evidence (transaction records, screenshots, age verification failures)
  • Document your communications with Roobet
  • Note the dates, amounts, and how your child accessed the account
  • Take screenshots of any terms and conditions that were violated
Who to contact:

California Bureau of Gambling Control
Oversees enforcement of California gambling laws and handles complaints about illegal gambling operations, including violations related to underage gambling and unlicensed gambling activity.
Phone: 916-830-1700
Email: [email protected]

California Gambling Control Commission
Regulates gambling activity in the state and may take complaints about illegal or unlicensed operations that allow minors to gamble.
Phone: 916-263-0700
Email: [email protected]

Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

Although the FTC doesn’t regulate gambling directly, it enforces consumer protection laws and accepts complaints about unfair business practices — including scams or deceptive online services that expose minors to harm.

Credit Card Company(s) (the card where transactions took place - might be more than one).
Even aside from gambling laws, unauthorised charges by anyone — including a child — may be disputable with the credit card issuer.

Law enforcement
It could be worth reporting to your local police or the District Attorney’s office, especially if financial loss occurred or you believe the casino engaged in criminal conduct.

My last suggestion would be to submit a complaint with Casinomeister, but I would only recommend doing this once you have tried everything else. We do not have any contacts at Roobet and they are notoriously evasive, as you have already experienced.

How is an underage kid depositing 37k with crypto?
Who owns the crypto?
This is madness!
Given that he is still pursuing this for the kid of his ex, I'd probably guess he's more involved than hes letting on, otherwise it isn't really his problem anymore. Anyway we shouldn't speculate while the PAB is active as it'll tempt the OP into a response.

thats crazy man

Is it really your problem anymore though?
It's a lot of money/crypto and it is likely that the OP is still connected with the ex in some way. Whatever the relationship, this should never have been possible at Roobet and there needs to be some accountability here.

As there is an active PAB here, I would encourage members not to post anymore on this thread.
