Hi @L&L-Jan, before I go to the trouble of signing up to ABC, could you please answer a couple of questions for me?

1. Are all of your slot RTPs set to the highest offered by each provider, or do you run lower versions?
2. What are your SOW practices? Am I likely to trigger SOW on my £50 per fortnight deposits, play 20p per spin?

Thanks.

Hi @satchnz,

1. Mixed, our actual RTP is around 95.5%.
2. Really depends how you spend funds but with 50gbp deposits I reckon you will hit at a point the £10.000 in deposits and there we require SOW. Bet sizes are not subject to SOW. Also withdrawals aren't a trigger for SOW, but are for KYC.

Thanks for your reply. I’m quite RTP sensitive so will have to think before I consider joining.

Regarding SOW, at £50 per fortnight, I’d hit your £10,000 limit in just over 7.5 years. Would I really hit SOW at that rate over such a long time period?

Jep, we have a few members here too who joined back in 2013/2014/2015 and are now hitting SOW thresholds. Also our former dear member Colinsunderland joined all british in 2013 and had to do EDD in March 2022. Wasn't a straightforward one but I managed to help him and he got verified accordingly. Unfortunately three weeks later he passed away.

Wow, that’s so draconian. I assume this is driven by UKGC regulations?

It surely isn’t an affordability check for such a low amount/frequency, and if I was laundering, I’d be better off buying a car wash or American candy store…

Grill rooms do the job too

I join Yako Casino about 3-4 years ago, not ask me for SOW yet, but I dont play much on and off £100-£200 deposit, I was think join new Pub Casino looks very good set up. but I was thinking they will not accept me think of bonus abuse

Meaning that EVERY ONE of your customers will eventually reach your SOW threshold?

Only if you stay as a customer, yes. Its not a complicated one though, most info you have shared with us upon KYC threshold. So often it is just a matter of: proof what you stated upon KYC threshold.

The only thing I have ever done for KYC, at any casino, is proof of identity, address and debit card ownership.
So I don't know what other info needs to be 'proved'

Out of interest, what did you need to do to prove debit card ownership? I’ve never been asked to do so at any UKGC joints.
A scan or Photo of the card, with the middle 6 digits of the long number blanked.
Although no one has asked me recently, even after using a new card.
Except for Videoslots last week. They still seem to still want proof of any new payment methods

i did fill one forum on one of your casinos where I work income and some other bs but they never ask me for any doc

And what exactly did they want in order to complete the SOW request?
Casumo casino they ask me for income p45 payslips and 3 to 6 month bank statement matching payspils, bill with name and address id, and with same id taking selfie, I refuse to send 3 month later got paid they close my account, some casinos they go to your bank statement and ask for every transaction income outcome, So if some one send you B-Day gift £50 they will ask for 3 to 6 month bank statement from sender, Some casinos they ask simple Payslip or P45 proof of income bank statement, is all what casino you dealing with, some casinos they have experience staff they know what they doing, some casinos they have some cheap staff they have no idea what they need they just ask and ask and ask, UKGC should make form and make clear to every casino what they can ask or not ask, and dont let casinos make their own rules about SOW

they need to see 4 corners of the card and 6 digit on back and 4 digit on front, on back your card just take pic

Imagine asking your friend/family member for copies of their bank statements for an online casino to look through

The ONLY thing I will ever provide to any casino ever, will be proof of my regular income. I'll send a bank statement with all but my monthly salary redacted, and if that isn't good enough... well, bu-bye then

For me best UK Casino Pokerstars deposit limit is by age over 25 year old you get £1600pm limit, they have lot of games RTP not bad 94% 95% they pay fast, they send cash offer wagering free from £5 to £100 a week free spins no wagering

You are very lucky. I am still p**ed at the L and L brands asking for 9 months(yes,9 months) of bank statements for regular £10 and £20 deposits. The most I ever deposited in one go was a £40 or £50,but that was just a one off. I really like L and L, but I have never been asked for anything like that anywhere else, even so called lesser regarded casinos. It's why I can't play at them any more.

I found L and L good for most things my only dislike is the one withdrawal at a time as you can't reverse in the UK.

A few times I've made a withdrawal and left a balance to play with and then had another hit I have had to wait for the first to be processed.

Usually isn't too bad as I've had them within a few hours but sometimes a day or two so can be a bit frustrating specially if the second withdrawal is bigger than the first.

Hi @L&L-Jan, before I go to the trouble of signing up to ABC, could you please answer a couple of questions for me?

2. What are your SOW practices? Am I likely to trigger SOW on my £50 per fortnight deposits, play 20p per spin?

Thanks.
I had to part ways with ABC due to finding the request for SOW quite intrusive; I hit the threshold a few times and had to submit documentation due to to the amount I was depositing. I used to play slots at low staked but blackjack I would play at £1k a hand (at times) and depositing £5k+ in a session was "normal" for me so I flagged as a higher risk.

To be fair, @L&L-Jan helped on every occassion and the customer services team at ABC were really good but I have not played there in a long time.

If you do get SOW/KYC checked, providing you comply with what they need I think the longest I waited for a withdrawl was around the 24 hour mark. Most withdrawals were handled within a few hours and used to hit my account as soon as they were approved (through visa direct)
