problem I had with proton free is u cant select a country specifically, and it is at random. I guess you have to pay to get better service

Yes the free one connects you itself to the fastest available country, which isn’t good because it might connect you to a country that the casino you play at does not accept. The Pro plan is good, but I’d say only if you have a spare £100 a year for it and actually need it all the time.

I have tried it on my phone (Android) to watch the occasional 3pm kick off in the EPL and it's not too bad. I'd never gamble using a VPN though given how it's so easy to deny you a payout. That alongside I have no clue how to use crypto anyhow.

With a Revolut Metal card you get NordVPN Plus. But there is also a premium plan which is cheaper, around £8 per month and it comes with a NordVPN plan as well. It's a good choice. You get a multicurrency wallet incl crypto, and VPN. Defo better than getting VPN and paying for it separately.

Not a free VPN but I just need to complain.

Avoid Private Internet Access (PIA). I had a 3 year subscription to them and then they enrolled me on their antivirus and cloud storage solutions without my knowledge or consent. THey just sent me an email saying that htey charged my credit card $5 for the new services (or whatever amount). It must have been some clause in ToS that they can just add more charges for you.

F***ing scumbags.
