the new Medieval Moolah game at 3dice

got to play the new game for real last night. the new game has wonderful graphics, unique game play, and is generally a kick to play because of the reel possiblilities with the wilds that can give you up to 24x. obviously, the designers put ALOT of work into this one. it's the quality you would expect from 3dice, but..............

You're gonna need some patience!!!

the game is a 30-liner with wild suns that can multply your line win by up to 24x. the bonus has you shooting tiles on the ground with a catapult doubling your bonus everytime you hit. each level gets more difficult and top prize is about 200x bet with 3 keys. 4 or 5 keys allow you to reach the higher levels that pay really well.

i got to the point where i actually didn't want the bonus to hit because the line wins were paying better. i did get the bonus a fair number of times(probably about 10) betting .60, but i got 7.20 for most of my bonuses, 14.00twice, and 28.00 once.

i'm thinking this game is a lot like supersuits and tut, where you don't fully appreciate the game until you get that unbelievable hit or bonus, and THEN you wanna keep playing it because of the possibilities. screen shots from people playing in the tournament show some incredible possibilites.

i'll give it another go later today (was fun waiting for those wild suns to land) ...but enzo and 3dice....keep the new slots coming

My 3dice slot list:

1. Squirrel pike (just really fun to play)
2. King tut
3. Superuits
4. Medieval Moolah (for now :D)
5. Happy Valley (or as i like to call it from my experience, Death Valley :D)

The graphics are stunning, as we've come to expect from 3Dice:thumbsup:

The game is hilariously fun and entertaining when the the 'extra' screen actions happen (full 3D knights riding pigs chasing winged skulls, etc.)

Catapulting pigs and dragons is a blast... (remember Python's sheep catapult?) But I dread the bonus too sometimes as a good line win beats it more often than not in my experience.

When aiming at the gold with catapult the target scitters around in a 3x3 grid and I haven't fully determind how much is skill and how much dumb luck, but have made it to the second highest level for more than 300x bonus round.

Line wins can be staggering.

I'm working on saving up enough tourney wins to play it for real mixed with same amount of other cash... probably want a bankroll at least 200x average bet size... as max bet is $6 i won't be betting max unless I get some smashing wins in the meantime.

My only suggestion for this game would be to have an option when feature appears to 'buy a pig in the poke' and get a random reward because I do get a bit frustrated with the bonus round when I'm on a line-win roll :) and entertaining as it is, I don't like to 'break my stride' for 3x, 6x, 12x, or even 24x wager returns.

In toto? Freakin awesome!!!

You took first place in the tournament too, didn't you? WTG!

Niiiiiiiice!

I am impressed also. Lot of work going into that bonus round. Also I have been waiting for years for a 5-reel slots to implement the "Double Diamond" multi-wild line multiplier, it was so obvious to do this :D

This makes the spins between the features a lot more interesting compared to the tedious waiting for a feature. The paytable does not look high, but a 5-symbol win with a paytable of 125 line-bet with 2 wild substitutions give *8=1000 instead, so it is a pretty high paytable actually.

The intro is also brilliant. Besides introducing the theme it combines it with actually ending up right in front of the slot.

Also the bonus feature is somehow different from other slots. I can still not say how much skill element is involved, but some skill is involved. Etc. if a square is free you can take it
safely now while the aiming is still good or instead try a little riskier one, hoping this square will still be safe when the bonus is higher. It think it only notice what square you pick and not where inside that square.

Anyone know if you have unlimited ammo btw.?

The only negative I can say about the about the slot is the symbol graphics. It is a little primitive to my taste, I prefer something a little more lively and invigorating. Also the sound when spinning is the same used for all other slots. It is almost the same as the RTG spinning sound. Very boring. Why should it sound like a 70-style mechanic old school slot? I prefer the more
atmospheric spinning sounds that some MG slot have.

It would have been better with a nice medieval Midi tune

You took first place in the tournament too, didn't you? WTG!

Think that colored my review a little? Nah :) It did color my perception of bonus round vs line wins though! 1200x + compared to much less in boni:thumbsup:

I haven't run out of ammo yet Zoozie, so can't say for sure. Your suggestion works pretty well, except, as you say, when the stop symbols totally surround the target:eek2: then I think it's intuitive or blind luck, not sure.

In the bonus round, you keep shooting until you hit a square that has a skull on it. In theory, if you keep hitting a blank square, you do have unlimited ammo.

As for whether or not it's skill or luck... I think it's predetermined. I've noticed several times when I click the button, it ends up landing on almost a full square away from where it was when I clicked it. I know it jumps around but, hey, I'm just saying.

The game itself is lower variance than, say, SuperSuits. And the incrementally-calculated wilds (4x, 8x, 12x, 24x) totally kicks arse.

I got four wilds on the backend (reels 2 thru 5) in the intro tourney earlier today (16 minutes before it ended ) for a T$988 win from a T$6 bet. Those wilds can be pretty powerful...

congratulations lojo !!!

my second session today on real money is going a bit better. it is a fun game. i did get the max on the bonus (3 scatter) once already today. the wilds are what make this game fun, though.

it's almost like a secondary bonus sort of thing when you can get a few wilds on a line.

and i'm inclined to believe that the bonus is predetermined because i refuse to believe i am THAT bad at aiming, lol. :D

anyway, gl everyone and have a great week until thanksgiving !!

Thumbs up!

I really love this new slot Enzo (and his team) put together. Played it for the first time today, and went all the way in the bonus round for a $570 something win of a $3 bet.

The element of suprise is great with those multiplying wilds! This slot combined with Tut and Supersuits makes for a great casino. And kudos to Enzo for being maybe the best casino manager out there!

I played it today but didnt get the bonus round. Hey, is Enzo MIA? I havnt seen him around here or at 3 dice in weeks!

He was by here just a bit ago, and he's on 3Dice (almost?) every day :)

i've talked to enzo on the 3dice chat recently, doing what he normally does... making sure everyone is having a great time.

and i agree, there is nothing more to say about Enzo and the 3dice staff...just awesome!

hey babs, what's your id on 3dice? everytime i see "bab" in a name i'm asking "hey, babs from casinomeister?" lol and it's never you :)

You're right, it's not just Enzo, he has cloned himself quite nicely:p

The first time I jumped on chat I thought babs was babs too, and started rambling on like an idiot.... wasn't her:o

I, too, like Squirrel Pike. Yesterday I was playing in a tenner tournament in my usual way: multihand video poker. But I was running out of money and had insufficient funds (47 cents) to make another bet. So, I planned to play the money out by betting 9 cents a spin on Squirrel Pike. On one of the spins I got 4 scatters and won almost $10 on the bonus round. With that $10, I was able to go back and play video poker long enough to up my total stake and place in the competition.

The graphic detail and originality of this new slot are outstanding. The intro itself is a feast for the eyes. I love the multiplying effect that the wild symbols have in the line hits, but my only disappointment... and a HUGE one for me is that there is not a Free Spin bonus round. If anyone knows me bynow... they know I only play slots with free spin bonus rounds with multipliers. The excitement factor with free spins is exceedingly greater in my opinion.
This is not to put down or take away from the effort 3Dice put into their unique bonus round.. and I know why they did it is because they strive for originality. These guys can definitely think outside the box!

They tell me there's several more slots in the works as we speak, so I'm expecting great things. (with free spin bonus rounds I hope)
Having cashed-out at 3Dice more than anywhere else ever... and knowing that the check will be there definitely in 3 or 4 working days has me sold out on them. And if anyone's gotten to know Enzo, then there's a whole reason in itself to patronize this place.

I just have 3 words for 3Dice! FREE SPIN BONUSES! ;)

There's another babs on 3 dice chat, we ran into each other last night lol. The difference is ...she is just babs and I am babs7262.

I got the bonus a couple of times, boy, that was kind of cool. I like the game and it's funny when pigs are flying. Very Creative 3 dice

Yeah, I finally saw Enzo last night. I must of kept missing him before I asked. That place has a nice set up with the chat during the tournies. Hey lojo, we just missed each other the night before last on chat!

I shall certainly give the new slot a go at 3dice even though i said to myself i doubt id ever deposit there again. Congrats to everyone who seems to win nicely at 3dice but for me after having made numerous deposits and has YET to make one cash out this will probably be my last. The games are great and highly interesting but ultimately pointless if it sucks cash which it always seems to do for me lol never mind moving on

I know how you feel AudiMan! I felt left out for a long time in the beginning whilest it seemed that everyone else was winning. Very frustrating! But my time came... several times. I'm in another slump, but maybe that'll change soon!

ok, i'm updating my 3dice slot list. i haven't done too well on moolah, but i swear, those wilds are mesmerizing. the more i play, the more impressed i am with the overall game design.

i'm very happy to hear there are even more games in the works.

my 3dice slot list:

1. Squirrel's Pike
2. Medieval Moolah (love those wilds) and King Tut
3. Supersuits (still the most exciting bonus, if you can get the re-triggers)
4. Happy Valley

and audi.... i know how you feel. i made two deposits and thought why is everyone so excited about 3dice? I was so impressed with the staff, i tried a couple of more times and i finally began to appreciate the "high variance" thing and the quality of their software. hope your luck changes :D

tim5ny so far i believe im over the 10 times deposit mark and no cashout so thats really proof enough for me lol

One key thing I've discovered is not to get too comfortable when you're up a bit. This is different than the other casinos! I have a hard time with it myself, but you can't keep on spinning thinking that it HAS to come in soon! It doesn't HAVE to on these slots! It doesn't have to come in at all sometimes!

On the other side of the spectrum, I have signed onto the casino and hit the bonus round on the first spin on TUT about 3 times. I have also had over 4 bonus rounds within 75-100 spins. There is no rhyme or reason! They're exciting to say the least!

Hey Audi

I havnt had a cashout at 3 dice in a very long time. I did well the first week and after that, nada! Our time will come again. I never had a cashout from others either. The only place where I was constantly cashing out was clubworld and that has changed with me also. Im just in a 3 month RUT!

I know it sucks Babs! You're not alone though. I had a good run earlier in the week and normally would've cashed out, but I got greedy for more and lost the lot. I'm still kicking myself over it!

lol babs what do you mean our time will come again, id quite like it to come once myself. grrrr I only ever seem to have luck with mg casinos most noticeable those in the palace group and Jackpot city. 3Dice i have to admit does a lot of things right from great slots, to great atmosphere but for me their very stingy. Makes me want to :axeman: lol

Well its roughly 20 minutes later, im a 60 deposit down, played Medieval moolah, achieved no win higher than 4 quid at any time and didnt get the bonus out once. Most of my deposits at 3Dice have gone this way. Sorry guys I have to say i dont share your opinion as to this casinos worth. bah humbug lol

babs,

just got the 3dice newsletter, you won a prize on the newsletter. just wanted to make sure you knew about it

audi,

sorry man, was hoping you'd have better luck.

everyone else,

have a GREAT weekend!! i'm gonna catch the beowolf flick this afternoon.

I know, thanks for letting me know though, it just happened to be a fluke that I was on their site and saw my name as a $25 winner (bonus). It lasted about 7 minutes LOL.

It's such a shame. It used to be that you would win here and there (atleast one cashout a month or more) but now...I guess they are making up for the USA player loss, they have to make it up somehow. Im sure they lost millions when US was banned

A reason, but not an excuse

It is important to note that most of the slots at 3Dice are high variance - and Im sure everyone knows what that entails.

I have also had bad runs, but the when you hit something its usually huge. We are all going to lose in the end, especially playing slots, but at least they care about their customers and payout instantly, which is a lot more than most casinos these days.

Hope you all have some better luck soon :)

The new slot, Medievil Moolah, is a great addition to their lineup because it does exactly the opposite of the other slots like Tut. In Tut you rely on the bonus round to make a score whilest MM has a bonus round that tops out at 200X, but the line hits can be totally huge. Just the opposite of their other slots. Great thinking 3Dice!

Welcome back, Tim:thumbsup:

I agree... I also noticed a 'mechanical' difference in the coins per line... you can go up or down now instead of having to cycle through. That makes it easier to have fun with shifting the variance factor 'higher'. i.e. if I'm going to bet $.90 a spin anyway, I might want to do a few spins now and then at 9 lines (click the line number on side) and up my bet per line to 10c each line.... land a string of Suns then and I'd be a happy camper... but it would be sweet to be able to bet $3 per line on three, five, or more lines sometimes just for giggles:eek2: Or, even if they kept max bet to $6 per spin... $2 per line on three lines... just my little quirk.

I see what you mean Lojo! Alot of thought went into this slot. Compare this with the clones that MG just throws out there like the monthly trash sometimes.

I got 'hooked' on Tut the other nite... didnt win BUT had alot of fun!!!!

Just wish they had an 'expert button' or a multiple play button cause my trigger finger was sure sore the next day lol

Hi CountByte,

Thanks for giving 3Dice a shot ! There's an autoplay in the little 'gear' menu on the top left of your screen .. that should help relieve that trigger finger ;)

Good Luck !

Enzo

My biggest grip about 3 Dice is it makes my computer freeze up. Everytime I play it freezes up 3 or 4 times durning my session where you have to reboot and start over.

Their software is graphically intense at times, but most modern computers running correctly shouldn't have much problem. There's an option to "Optimize" the graphics on the casino software. I don't know if this'll help you, but it's there.

Ahhh that sucks... I know the feeling, I've only got 256 ram at home... When I do a ctrl - alt- delete using windows xp I see the run32dll pegging out over 100k.

When your session freezes do you try the fix screen that 3Dice gives you? I've had good luck just trying 'frozen' rather than restart or close 3Dice.

My cpu pegs in the high nineties, page files run rampant, and the sumnabidge won't let me restart my computer until it's done with it's processes.

The bug report will help them fine tune for your system too.

I guess I can hope for a smashing win and buy some alienware:)

But for now, when I want to play at 3Dice, I just try to make sure nothing else is going on... I can get by with the Casino, chat, and 3dice.com, but that's about it.

I'm going to guess that it might be time for a 2D version called 2dice :) All the same great games, all the same great people. Just a little flatter :)

Hope you get to play some more, lovetogamble... it takes some patience, and most slots are high risk.
