Thinking About Launching a Crypto Casino - Where Do I Start?

Hey everyone! I’ve been researching online casinos and recently got really interested in the idea of starting a crypto-based casino. I understand it involves things like blockchain integration, gaming licenses, smart contracts, and possibly white-label solutions - but it’s a lot to take in.

For those who’ve done this or know the industry, what are the first key steps to get started? Should I focus on tech development first, or securing the legal side? Any tips, resources, or pitfalls to avoid would be super helpful!

Well, firstly if you are going to do this properly, you will require very DEEP pockets. This is in part why there are hundreds if not thousands of white labels around...
Good points, thanks! Out of curiosity, do you think a smaller-scale crypto gaming project could still work, or is it all big money now?

Well the white label route is the cheapest that is for sure. As you are only primarily responsible for the marketing of the casino and getting traffic to it. Think of it as a glorified affiliate site. As the white label provider provides everything else. Such as the licensing, casino software, relationship with gaming providers, customer services and payment processing.

To build a fully fledged online casino from the ground up, means you are responsible for everything. The licensing, infrastructure, relationship with payment processors and software providers, customer service. On top of this, you also have to market the casino, so you actually get visitors to your site and in turn customers.

The cost involved to do this properly ie actually eye watering. Not forgetting all the due diligence hoops you have to got through.

Speak to BetterValueCasino Owner - he has an account on here! :D:D

You’ve summed it up perfectly. The white label option definitely offers a much lower barrier to entry, especially for those who want to focus on marketing and player acquisition without getting tangled in the complexities of licensing and operations.

That said, while it’s the cheaper and faster route, it also means less control and smaller profit margins compared to running a fully independent casino. For anyone considering the long-term, it’s a good idea to weigh whether the convenience of a white label setup outweighs the potential benefits of full ownership once the brand gains traction.

Both routes have their merits - it really depends on budget, expertise, and long-term goals.

Honestly cant believe what im reading.
Been here two minutes, one post you want to develop new games, the next minute you want to start a crypto casino. Ive seen it all 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah that fish smell is getting stronger by the minute...... Might need a bigger net haha

I did a reverse image search of the OP’s profile pic earlier and it’s a photo very popular with people on social media in India it seems.
Not USA then? :laugh::laugh:

Looks like an AI image, like those glorious 40+ women you see on YT ads for dating etc. If it was a real woman, it would come up as found on genuine social media accounts and other sources.

Like that other bloke on here who was using images of Serbian football coaches.

“That said” without context is a massive AI giveaway. Weird waste of time posting all that crap though.

I was in 2 minds whether he was using AI or is AI but I think we need a reaction image for "sus"

For the times we do not think it is AI and we just think the posts are sus!

But then all my posts will probably get marked as "sus" then hahahaha

I will see if we can get this uploaded to the forum as an emoticon:

Whenever I get sent to see HR - which is quite regular as I keep having to do the "Diversity and Inclusivity" course multiple times a year (up to four this year - new record, and its funny as I see the same faces on it every time I go), I never see any HR rep who looks like that, or is happy.

All my reps look like russian shotputters who immediatley open up with "ffs not you again" and never smile.

If you are going to fake an account, at least make it somewhat realistic.

if you ask these questions, youre not fit to open one up.

Sorry, forget the idea, move on.

And yes, in order to establish something you need to have deep pockets. Very deep pockets.

I think the bot may have shuffled off somewhere else.

Maybe AI Bots have feelings and can feel pain, rejection, and mockery - we can only hope.
Ive always said that when AI gets so advanced they create realistic robots that can service your every need, two things will happen:

1 - I will buy one
2 - I will be the first person to get divorced and lose my house and half my earnings to a robot. Im lucky like that.

Don't say that...

I asked Gemini to write me some code the other day. It kept getting it wrong, then adding and removing sections at random.

I was eventually so frustrated I wrote: " *Note to Developers* This model does not follow instructions properly. I give up"

Guess what? It apologised and continued unprompted with the code and fixed it.

I had tried multiple times earlier and only after I added that little note did it get it right ...

I was sent to Diversity training once, after one and a half tracks I was projectile vomiting and ran from the room screaming with my hands over my ears. Couldn't remember a single lyric afterwards.

It had the desired effect though, as I never called the office radio set a tranny ever again.
