Hey everyone 👋

Long-time slots player here, just joined the forum. I’ve always been curious about fairness and RTP — especially how games feel different in real sessions compared to what’s advertised.

Looking forward to learning from the discussions here and sharing some of my own experiences along the way.

Cheers,
Aria

Have you ever tried provably fair slots? Very few out there. Just curious if you find that RTP is more 'trustworthy'
Provably fair slots are definitely more transparent since you can verify the randomness yourself. But even then, RTP is still a long-term measure — tracking session-level play shows how different the experience can feel in real time.

Here you have a video showing demo play versus real play. At the end of the video, you can also see the game history.

Yeah, provably fair slots feel more trustworthy since you can verify the randomness. But even then, RTP is still long-term — I track sessions to see how it shifts mid-game, which is what players actually notice.

Yeah, I’ve looked at provably fair slots too. The transparency is definitely better — being able to check randomness yourself through cryptographic proofs gives more peace of mind than traditional setups.

But RTP is still a long-term calculation, even in those games. What I’ve been focusing on is the session-level experience. When you track spins, you can actually see how RTP shifts mid-game — often dropping after a few small wins.

So provably fair feels more trustworthy overall, but it doesn’t really remove the importance of logging short sessions. That’s the part that most players notice, since hardly anyone plays long enough to see the theoretical RTP even out.

For me once I can verify the randomness (and can also change seed as much as I want) then RTP is just a matter of having big enough spin sample to 'verify' psychologically. The thing I never really feel with everything else is how do I know randomness is true/correct if I can't really trust the 3rd party verifying it.
