We are absolutely delighted to finally present to you this year’s biggest launch at Videoslots.com, maybe even the biggest launch to date for us. You can now play Battle of Slots with your friends and other players at Videoslots.com and you have the chance to win prizes daily! Will you be the next winner?

We will begin by introduce Freeroll Battles. The biggest Battle starts at 17:00 GMT every day where 500 free spins are up for grabs. It’s absolutely free to register so take your chance at winning some free spins today. The only thing is that you’ve had to deposit x and wagered y during the last z days and that there must be 10 or more players who have to register for this Battle for it to start. Sit & Go Battles are running several times per day where plenty of free spins can be won and it’s free to register, please note that there are certain requirements to be fulfilled to be able to register to our SnG’s.

Shortly we will introduce real money Battles with guaranteed prize pools, Sit & Go’s, Battles with unlimited rebuys and much more. We are also planning to launch Jackpot Chases where you along with other players will chase a jackpot and split the money, we are just waiting for some regulators to approve this.

We hope you will enjoy these as much as we do. Have fun!

Cheers

Philip

RETURN BELARUS AS COUNTRY!!!!111

I want to play in your awesome casino. Seriously, wtf? Russians can play while in Russia gambling restricted, their goverment releasing new and new laws against gambling. Why Belarus? It's funny, why your management made this decision? Our players abused you? Unlikely. Give me a chance to play, i was very happy with your casino. And you making all this new stuff...And i have no chance to try it.

Can you Philip do something with this? Or contact senior staff and ask by what facts they made this decision? Gambling in our country not restricted. Our internet providers do not block casinos, our banks process all gambling transactions...

Argggggggggggh!

We hope you will enjoy these as much as we do. Have fun!

VS flew Bryan and I to Malta to see this in early September. Long story short: pretty damn fun way to play slots! And that's from a guy who normally has no time for slots. I think you guys are gonna like this. :D

Hi Philip, thanks for offering this awesome feature. Really great to see something really innovative nowadays where you might think you've seen everything.

The BoS is online for a couple of days now and I find it super interesting. Please also offer something suitable for the high(ish) rollers maybe with higher denominated free spins where you need to wager let's say for €2/spin.

Philip.

May I take the opportunity to thank you and your team for this development. I've played a bit in the last day or so and think its excellent and full of potential.

Hi guys, thanks for all the feedback!

For those of you who are not 100% sure on how it works here is a brief instruction to our Battles:

You open the battle lobby by clicking the red tab on the right side of your screen, or by going to the Battle of Slots section from the menu in the middle of the page. Here you will find both Sit N Go Battles and scheduled Battles from the lobby page. Sit N Go Battles will start as soon as enough people have signed up while scheduled Battles start at a set time as long as at least 10 players has signed up to said Battle.

Signup is easy: you just have to enter the battle of your choice by clicking on the battle of your choice, and then click ”Register” when you are taken to the popup-window for the chosen Battle. This popup will have information about what type of game it is, buy-in, the total amount of spins every contestant will make, time limit, bet amount for the slot you will be playing, time-limits, and anything else you need to know.

When in the actual Battle, you will find the scoreboard and a countdown to how much time that’s left on the left side of the window. There is also a chat under this scoreboard where you can talk to the other battle contestants.

The Battle ends when you’ve finished your spins or when time runs out. You will then be taken to a scoreboard. Prizes are paid when the Battle is completely finished, there might be a slight delay of up to 10 minutes before any prizes become available on your account if you won.

Cheers

Philip

Great feature as tournaments are my fave. MG have done them for awhile but these seem a fresh take and added chat feature could give them a far better community feel.

One question.... I have an active bonus so cannot currently join. Once I completely WR on bonus will I need to start WR for tournies afresh or will my wagering during bonus play count towards requirements.... Cheers

Will the battles with buy-in also have the "deposit x & wager y in z days" requirement, or will paying the buy-in amount be the only requirement? The 5 Starburst free spins battle, which seems to be the "poorest" of them requires a deposit of 20 and wagering 200 within 3 days I think, some others have like "wager 500 in the last few days" and so on so it's not really something I'll likely play that often - I tend to either bust out or withdraw way before I wager this much :) Though I'll happily take part if at some point playing it'll turn out I indeed met the requirements.

Hi ProbabilityZero,

When you have a bonus active you cannot register for a battle as you said. But what you wager during your bonus play will count towards the wager requirement for the battles.

Philip

Hi GoldenGhoul,

When we add battles which will have a buy-in there will be no wager requirement or any other requirements at all. Just pay the price for it and you are golden. I also want to mention that soon we will add battles with a guaranteed prize pool :)

Philip

Hi Philip! I just have to ask....

Those guys who works there are they genius or something?:eek2:

I mean you have so many games but still hardly no problems or lagging at all.

You fixed the Max bet thing so noone can bet over a certain amount if they don't want to.

You creates this Battle of Slots.

How come you can do what others don't?
Feel free to bragg as much as you want

Absolutely brilliant stuff, I love the old torneys but like GoldenGhoul pointed out also you mentioned about deposit x amount and turn over x amount, I made a deposit to try out but you have to turn so much over for certain torneys, With my luck I only just managed to turn my own £20 over :)

So when they are all up and running the buying in ones will go down well,

Great work guys!! you are geniuses (hope that a correct word lol). Very much look forward to try this out myself. I can only be better than Microgaming's oldish and boring slots tourneys.

And best of all really hope you could do like a monthly Casinomeister tournament when it is 100% running well and performing at its best.

With this I am not begging for a free tournament (of course would be nice) But more if something could be setup would be amazing. Being able to play against other meisters. Not sure what buyin should be or how this could be done but think would be amazing if possible

I would imagine that if you are buying in then WR and deposit amount won't be applicable as player funded giving house edge. If these are partially subsidized though then there may WR.

WR and deposit on freerolls fair enough as it stops freeloading. Was a bit gutted that the 15spin JATB was deposit and wager in just one day as I think that's a bit difficult having the time to wager 400 and still have time to play the tournie. I easily met both deposit and wager but was just outside the 24 hour window.

Nevertheless excellent fun :)

Call me sad but every time I see "battles" mentioned I think of Pokemon.

Well with these tournies I "gotta catch 'em all" :p

For the record Pokemon was in my younger years.... Honest.... Really!

Now where did I put my DS ;)

Hi guys,

A normal tournament is more similar to our Casino Races. We created Battle of Slots to give our players a unique experience where you can compete against your friends and other players around the world in real time. We have added a chat function where you can chat with the other players in the battle. Everyone you are competing against play with the exact same conditions, bet level, amount of spins and time limit. You can also see if a player enters a bonus/freespin mode in real time to feel the extra excitement.

Also, in our current freerolls we guarantee the price but in the coming battles where you need to buy in, all players will contribute towards the total prize pool. So the more the players win in a battle the bigger the prize pool will be, it’s a progressive prize pot. There will also be some guaranteed buy-in battles where we guarantee the prize pool. To explain it a bit deeper, in real money mode, all your winnings will be added to the pot of the Battle and not your account.

We spoke to Bryan and Max a few weeks ago when they visited us in Malta and we are now working on an exclusive Casinomeister Battle which will be up and running as soon as possible. I will give you guys more information when that is completed.

Cheers

Philip

the most innovative casino with countless useful and comfortable features, the most generous reward system on the market right now, the more you wager more cash you earn unlike the more you deposit like in other places, all providers that matters etc. shame that regulations will take VS opportunity but in 2015 awards this have my vote for the best. the majority of casinos out there sit on big funds yet they are capped to super greedy promos IF ANY and no inovation at all. move your bags to VS, looks like the future of online gambling in an early presentation.

I agree wholeheartedly :)

I've said for a long time that MG tournament system is the way of the future. The lines between "Gaming and Gambling" are becoming thinner. Look at the "social" slots in Google Play Android games etc.

One thing about bingo sites I have always liked is the chat rooms. With these new tournies Videoslots have embraced that social aspect. During yesterday's big 500 spins tournie players were chatting.

The format of these tournaments is a huge improvement on the MG software. One thing I don't like about MG tournaments is they are a mad rush. Videoslots have struck a good balance with the hour for 100 spins. I've never understood why MG feel the need to rush you in tournaments - I want to spin and savour the experience.

I hope they VS can add many many more slots to this new mode. Variety is the key. I would also like to see mega battles where there are a thousand or more spins.

Please VS strike a fair balance for the low rollers who want to take part without Wagering so high beforehand though :) Throw in some where WR is more modest.

Can't wait to see how this evolves :)

Is there anything that can be done for those that play overnight? I found that there are just not enough players in the early hours of the morning to meet the minimum number. This has meant, on occasions, that despite have deposited/wagered enough I couldn't participate in the sit and go tournaments because of lack of players

I think that will soon change, once the words out and alot more to play once they add pay to play ones :)

Anyone playing the main event tonight?
"Jack and the Beanstalk 500 Freespins" freeroll @ (17:00 GMT)

Prize pool:

1st: Jack and The Beanstalk - 100 Free Spins
2nd: Jack and The Beanstalk - 75 Free Spins
3rd: Jack and The Beanstalk - 50 Free Spins
4th: Jack and The Beanstalk - 25 Free Spins
5th - 9th: Jack and The Beanstalk - 20 Free Spins
10th - 14th: Jack and The Beanstalk - 15 Free Spins
15th - 19th: Jack and The Beanstalk - 10 Free Spins
20th - 24th: Jack and The Beanstalk - 5 Free Spins

Requirements are €20 deposit, €200 wager last 7 days.

Unfortunately I missed tonights but got 15 spins in yesterdays :)

I have to say that these tournaments are superior to MG. The MG ones give nowhere near as many spins and are stingy with completion time.

It is clear they are already popular.

The prizes on the sit n go are very modest but they are just fun to participate in.

I noticed today they had added a couple more sit n gos.

The problem with MG tournies is it's the same ones day after day. It looks like Videoslots plan to mix these up and keep them exciting.

As much as I love 32 Red. - Videoslots have become my new number one and 32 Red take some beating :)

took part yesterday and finished 16th - 10 FS on JATB which gave me a glorious 0.17$ .. LOL .... i see this more as a social networking thing than a way of actually making it to a withdrawal.

But certainly not bad to attract more players, especially since you have to deposit and wager regularly to be allowed to take part. Good move VS

You can end up depositing £100 and still end up not making £200 wager to take part in the smallest tourney,

Take P.Zero's statement

At least make some torneys for small reg players, I know its early days but like in a thread the other week when talking about tournaments, Only the high rollers could win and they was not bothered about 100 free spins that come with a wager, (different site)

I must admit I am looking forward to the buy in ones

ProbabilityZero, when it comes to knowing if a player enters a bonus or free spins round, there is a notification informing about it in the chat.

Cheers

Yes they are fantastic but a couple of points occur to me:

The current structure could in fact increase your banking costs. Say I'm ready for a withdrawal usually I'd leave "x" amount in for continue play. Due to the deposit requirement I'm more likely to withdraw full and redeposit so I can meet the deposit in one day requirement.

May be better to keep the wagering criteria (which in itself promotes fair play) but change deposit requirements so they are all within 7 days.

It would also be better to know the criteria for each before going to the "register" button :)

The other thing is current set up can be counter productive in that I would be unlikely to deposit and wager a lot evening before two days of 12,hour work shifts as by time I got to play tournaments the 1, 2 or 3 day window would have passed leaving me likely to delay a deposit so I can play tournies.

Personally I think weekly deposits and WR would be preferable if at all possible :)

Exactly this. I work 4on 4off and it happened to me the last of my rest days. Deposited £300 and played it through (so wagering/deposit criteria well met) but by the time I play again in a couple of days time, I will not be able to enter the tournament. Of the 4 deposits I am making every 8 days, only 3 of them will be legible for the tournaments.

So, we've had the Battle of the Slots for a little while now and I still think its a great development. I have a few suggestions which aren't intended to be received in a critical way but in the spirit of constructive user feedback.

If anything here is browser specific, for the record I use the latest version of Chrome.

1. Would be useful to be able to scroll the chat facility both in game and in the summary afterwards.

2. Where you win a few times in a row and get seperate rewards, It would be handy for them to accumulate, for example, you win 2 spins, then three and then 5. It would be a more enjoyable experience to have ten sitting there to be activated once rather than three separate rewards.

3. On battles with lots of players, it might be useful to have a box showing your position (if you're towards the bottom you can't see it).

4. It would be handy if the game would automatically default to the coin value for the tournament and retain settings like "disable animations" and "quickspin" so they don't have to be set every time.

5. It would be useful to be able to see the eligibility rules before you hit register.

6. I don't think the pop up indicting you've registered is necessary as the register button changes.

7. The popup info when you initially load the battle is useful but a "do not display again" option might be useful.

Hope this helps!

I use Google Chrome and am able to scroll bars and see all chat so not a specific Google Chrome issue.

Wow winning several times in a row would be grand lol.

I think seeing deposit and WR requirements before clicking "register" would be great.

I agree there are a few unnecessary clicks but overall the system is far superior to MG which has been running years :)

I have to select the text to scroll (there is no scrollbar) and then it jumps back to the top so you can't keep it on screen for long enough to read!

I've found it like with any other session it comes in fits and starts.

Hi citizenx,

Reply to the questions, see below:

1. Good suggstions. Right now you can scroll in the chat but there is a technical problem we are working on.
2. Technically this is not possible at the moment unfortunately.
3. Already in progress and it will be added within a short period of time.
4. We are waiting for Netent to develop this feature regarding the coin value. We agree it would be a much better player experience. Regarding "disable animations" and "quickspin" we will look into it, at the moment it's not possible.
5. You can see the rules for each battle in the lobby before you register.
6. We need this pop-up due to regulations.
7. We need this pop-up due to regulations.
8. We are aware of the chat having some technical problems and we are working on it.

I think seeing deposit and WR requirements before clicking "register" would be great.

Regarding being able to see the deposit and WR requirements before you register, we are working on it and it should be live shortly.

Thanks guys for all the feedback. It's good to know what you think.

Best regards,

Philip

Thanks Philip.

Appreciate the feedback. Give your team a much earned pat on the back.

Out of curiosity is the licence for tournies restricted to Netent or will other providers be added?

Please do some eggomatic ones either freeroll or paid :)

Hi,

Our Battle of Slots are not restricted to Netent only. But the other don't have the technical requirements for it yet. And regarding Eggomatic, it is not working with BoS but there are plenty of other games :)

Cheers

Philip

The sit and go battles have been brilliant but today's The Wishmaster does not work out too well.

The reason for this is that first, second and third prizes are 4, 3 and 2 spins respectively. If you then win a battle and use the award the feature (which in wishnaster is the only real way of winning) runs for 10 spins but as these are paid spins the award "free spins" runs out right at the beginning. Continuing with real funds resets it as does loading another reward making the feature (which makes up the majority of the RTP in this game) pointless.

At the end of the day the sit and go's are free (providing deposit and wager net) so this may not be considered an issue, but I thought should bring to your attention as may provide players with sense of frustration.
