What are you watching?

Recently finished watching a series on BBC2 called The shadow line-still available on BBCiplayer-well worth a watch-features Christopher Eccleston, fantastic actor.

Ok so this is a hell of a bump, but it still fits my purpose without having to start another.

Just finished watching “murder mindfully” an 8 episode mini series on Netflix, and really liked it, if anyone is in need of something to watch quite easily over a couple of days or a weekend I recommend it.

Anyone else got any suggestions?

I enjoy watching stuff you don't usually find on tv and this is what I am watching right now.

Is it a sort of Crime based drama mate???

Currently re-watching Better Call Saul on Netflix.

Show Trial (2 seasons BBC iplayer) and DI Ray (ITV) worth a watch.

Also Grace (ITV) Luther Fallen Sun (Netflix) and Liar (2 seasons Disney+) all worth a watch.

Erm it’s not true crime, not sure how to explain without giving bits away but if you like better call Saul I think you would like it :)

Cheers, I will look into those with the exception of show trial as can’t use BBC iPlayer.

Cool.

May not need iplayer right now, they're on demand (free) if you have Sky?

I started watching travel vlogs recently. It's quite interesting to learn how people elsewhere live. And i think these types of YouTubers deserve to get paid - unlike some who just turn on their camera, eat shit and talk nonsense that nobody cares about.

Recently, even i spent half a day watching Spanian, where he stayed in Hong Kong's coffin homes, and then watched content about Medellin in Colombia where Pablo Escobar used to live. And then i watched one about him going to a favela in Brazil.

I knew what a favela was, but the picture in my mind was different. I just thought it was a poor and dirty place with a lot of crime, but it isn't. As they say in the video, robberies and other stuff happen in the city but not in the place where they live. Also, while the place looked poor, it was clean. You can see there is no litter lying on the street like you typically see here, especially in shit places where they just throw everything down.

That Brazilian guy was a great guide.

Yeah I have a thing for them too. I love that they show how the average person lives and behaves as apposed to what we are told about them which is often so different.
I have them on while I am doing other things like slotting or avoiding mowing the lawn.
Bald and Bankrupt is another as well as Sabatticle

Yeah sky is a go, just live stuff out of bounds due to the obvious.
I refuse to pay my BBC licence out of principle and the fact that I rarely watch it but in near 6 years when I stream or watch BBC I simply press "Yes" I have a licence and wait for them to knock on my door so I can tell them to piss off

That's your choice, I have never had a TV licence as don't legally need one for my use, but I would be careful with clicking YES as they got someone I know via using IPlayer not sure how but via tracking IP, device MAC addresses maybe. Although its probably very low. Most of the iplayer stuff ends up other places anyway LOL

But yes your right if they knock on the door just say no thanks and close the door :)

Here's an interesting and emotional video about Spanian going to Auschwitz in case anybody likes history-related stuff. In case some don't know - it's a camp that Germans built in Poland after they took over half of the country in 1939.

Auschwitz 1 was the main camp where they shot 1000s of people at the wall, among other things, and where SS doctor Mengele did his sick medical experiments.

Auschwitz 2 was the death camp where they brought people by trains...

The healthier ones (around 25%) were kept for work camps. And 75% were sent straight to gas chambers and their bodies burned.

My grandparents were about 20 and 23 during WW2 and i remember them telling life-based stories.

X rated porn.

Nah I been watching the overlap on tours new series,
And just re watched the obi won kenobi series.

Tv is shit now, I mostly watch stuff on youtube.
Child porn being pushed on pornhub. Most of the internet porn that is profitable is owned by Jews and pronhub is one of them.

"P*rnhub verified a 15 yr old who was missing for a year into their ModelHub program. She was found being sold in 58 monetized assault videos.ModelHub has now been shut down completely and P*rnhub has been forced to take down 91% of the site. "

Anyone watched "Day of the Jackal" on Sky please?

Heard mostly good thus far but need more assurances before I make the effort lol.
I am fully caught up to the current latest episode. Thoroughly enjoyed it so far. The UK MI5 side of things is a bit meh but the jackal stuff is good gravy. Lots of nice songs on the soundtrack and as a radiohead fan happy to see 3 Thom Yorke related songs so far.

Before watching it I was a bit annoyed that since it was a mini-series, with the focus being on someone trying to catch an assassin, that the ending would be the assassin being caught but its been renewed for a second season so its entirely open as how they'll end the first one.

Seems unrelated to this thread but I'll fact check it anyway.

. Around 4 years ago, the 15 year old was depicted in 58 videos that were found across Pornhub, Periscope, Modelhub, Snapchat, and others, according to the arrest report. So not 58 monetised videos on PH, happened a while ago and didn't shut down their modelhub program nor 91% of the site.

Nick's content is great. If you like these travel vlogs, check out Bald & Bankrupt, Backpacker Ben and Simon Wilson. They are very funny. When Bald and Ben went to Afghanistan, pair of nutters LOL

I feel like there's a lot of Mi5/6 portrayals in new series that aren't as good as the UK-only series. Very meh. Am watching Paris has Fallen and after the MI6 boss gets killed at the beginning, the whole thing doesn't seem very logical, single female agent killing spree in France when the President is the target, and no backup? Waiting for Jackal to end so I can binge :)

Yeah I’m enjoying it apart from having to wait weekly for the episodes, had I realised at the start ( there was 6 on sky when I started ) I would have waited till all on there and binged it, did you give the one I suggested a go? Just curious what you thought if ya did :)

I think they actually dropped 5 on the first da which is irregular, its usually 1-3 or the whole thing in the case of many UK 4-6 parters.

I like Bald but I find that Ben hangs on his coat tails too much as well as parrots Bens presentation.
Bald must be a millionaire by now

I'm going to be completely honest, in that I totally forgot until this post reminded me.

Need something desperately really as currently I'm watching Breaking Bad for the 3rd or 4th time round lol

3 million plus subs, definitely I would have thought. I know what you mean about Ben, but he is now starting to do his own thing.

Another good up and coming channel is Wendal.

Bald is quite funny but I tend to avoid his content since he seems to passively support sex trafficking by taking part in sex tourism industry in many of the countries he visits. Definitely enjoyed a bunch of his vids though.

Yes I have come across a few Youtube videos suggesting something of that nature, but not watched them. I genuinely thought they were made by haters.
Not sure about videos, biggest one seems to be from sunnyv2 which is a bit of a drama slop / list channel.

I think I found out via a subreddit which was essentially a dossier of evidence against him. I think he got matched to a sex tourism forum via like ten data points that individually are coincidences but three coincidences are a pattern and ten is well.. alot.

I prefer not to take part in that sort cancel culture mentality without solid proof. Did you write of Joe Biden and Hunter over the laptop which is backed up by much stronger proof?

Yes, Bald and Bankrupt makes great content and is pretty much up there, if not the best at what he does.

His sidekick is more than adequate and they seem to have struck a great rapport. Overall I find Bald to be confident in his journalistic style, and boy did he love traversing old Soviet enclaves, the man is very fond of them indeed!

Last one of his I watched would be.....Uganda? Though the most watchable by far was the border crossing journey he embarked on from South America into the U.S, from recollection.

I see there's always been a craze to bash him in various subreddits etc, which one might expect from his enduring success. Latest skim-readings tell of pissing off India (the whole country) and his apparent partaking in sex tourism? Last thing I read revolving around his controversies pertained to being acquitted of rape several years ago, a cloud that will always hang over him no doubt.

All I see of him is a supremely confident ladies man with the gift of the gab, where - on camera at least - the women appear to be receptive, if not putty in his hands, so make of that what you will.

Highly watchable nonetheless, and pretty much top-tier 👌

I'm left wing mostly, other than trans stuff, but I do not like joe biden. Obama was damn charismatic but I don't like him as a politician either. The DNC and the Democratic party always push a crappy establishment choice that will do the same stuff the last president did. If I was american I'd only vote for them as I see them as the lesser of two evils, in my opinion.

As far as B&B, I'm pretty satisfied with the proof. It's not about whats on camera as thats 99% of the time pretty great its what's not on camera. I do still watch people I don't disagree with politically FWIW. Count Dankula for example, was a member of UKIP and stood for them in european elections, but he makes good videos on youtube so I'm a happy subscriber.

Not tourism content but I'm a fan of GeoWizard. His straight line missions and stuff like tenner challenges are thoroughy entertaining. Don't really watch the Geoguessr stuff though.

I have to admit that since those alligations emerged I was watching him to find signs of perviness but there has not been any signs of that. But he did dodge a long prison sentence in a Russian Gulag.
Its a matter of taste what folk watch in all fairness. Whatever gets us through the day. And by the way if I was American I would not have voted for either part either.

Yes,58 monetized videos on Pornhub as well as those other sites. This was during lockdowns where pornhub gave everyone free access to what was usually subscription sections of the site and where their traffic- for want of a better word-shot up. They have deleted 91% of their content.

This highlights exactly where they are up to as of now.
