I have seen Rick Springfield, The Angels ( My boyfriends back) The Sherilles ( Soldier Boy), SHA NA NA, Jay Black and the Americans and the Greg Kinh Band and Frankie Valli and the Four seasons( was good friends with his Uncle) Toby keith (Love that Man) . so who have you seen. Curious i am. This includes you CM, please? I love this stuff lol. so many more also I can not remember. My favorite was of course TOBY KEITH.

Rolling Stones (3 times, once with Billy Preston joining them), Yes, J.Geils Band, Aerosmith, Willie Nelson, Elton John, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Grateful Dead, Beach Boys, Boston, Springsteen, Steppenwolf, Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, ZZ Top, The Who, Waylon Jennings, Iron Maiden ( I was drunk and would not normally have gone ), Little River Band, James Taylor, Carol King, and probably a few others. Growing up in Massachusettes we got to see a bunch of them at Boston Garden. Ahhh, the good ole days.

One I always wanted to and regret not seeing was Cat Stevens.

Sytem of a down at the big day out, Korn- bloody awesome show.

But by far ther best concert I have ever seen in my life was tool, that band is SOOOO much better to see live, they put on a amazinig show. Maynard has a great voice.

OHHH, I also saw faith no more years ago, now that was another great day.

A lot of the same as others and some not necessarily in concert. Don't think any of these were posted but I was speed reading so will just add a few not mentioned:
1. The Marshall Tucker Band
2. Emerson,Lake, and Palmer with an orchestra. The only concert that ever made my ears ring and hurt
3. The Outlaws (not Waylon and gang but Green Grass and High Tides)

AC/DC was the first band I ever went to see, Bon Scott was lead then it was in Tasmania in 1979 & I was 14. It was the best After that I saw a lot of Aussie bands that probably not many have heard of - Hush, Ted Mulry Gang, Australian Crawl, Cold Chisel (gotta luv Jimmy Barnes) Inxs, Uncanny X-men & I mustn't forget Neil Diamond, he has the sexiest voice ever - I came from a small city in Tassie & there were never any really big names that played near there, lol. Since I have been in Victoria I have seen the Rolling Stones (all time favorite band) Kiss, Matchbox 20 & my latest was Pink, she was absolutly amazing!

Ha - funny question since it's a real hard one for me to answer. As some of you might know, I grew up in the SF bay area during the 60s, and my parents were pretty "progressive" and exposed me to some very culture focused events. My parents were more beatnikish 50s Californian - but the Hippie movement was something that influenced the whole family.

They used to go to shows in SF (Golden Gate Park or in some of the smaller venues), sometimes bringing me along (I was 10-12 years), and I don't remember too much on what bands were playing. But I do remember the people there. Some of my best memories are of having my face painted by some hippie girls - with black light face paint...and the light shows.

We used to go to Kepler's Bookstore a lot where the Dead and the Merry Pranksters would be hanging out. I grew up in Los Altos where a lot of this stuff was going on.

When I was older I went to A LOT of shows, kinda like Lots0. The first real concert I went to (without my parents) was Eric Clapton (Cow Palace July 1974) and then George Harrison (Cow Palace Nov 1974), and then from there it was like every other weekend I would hitchhike to either Winterland or some local venue (if I could get in).

But like a lot of people, the 70's were pretty foggy for me

Day on the Green's at Oakland Colosseum in the late seventies were great. I saw many great bands there to include the Who, Stones, Jeff Beck, Blue Oyster Cult, Fleetwood Mac, J.Geils, the Dead, Peter Tosh, just to name a few off the top of my head.

Best shows?? Frank Zappa in '75 at Winterland and '76 at Standford U.

Devo at Santa Cruz civic in 79 and 80 were the tops though. I had never seen so much energy pounded out from five people ever before. By this time, I was pretty much a "spudboy" and really into the punk scene...

...the Dead Kennedys in 84 at the Keystone in Palo Alto was a major high point. The "mosh pit was a pretty new thing and it was a blast to play air guitar with Jello Biafra and stage dive together. Wild times....

No shit! When I saw him at the club, The Commodore in downtown Vancouver, late 80s, I was sitting about 20 feet away from the stage. This was in his longhair days but the guy has always been a perpetual motion machine, he never stops. Super high energy stage presence, sweats buckets.

Anyway he would toss his hair every once in a while sending out this stream of sweat across the crowd, splattering everyone nearby, me included. Gave the Heineken a very distinctive taste. Bloody awesome concert! I was completely knackered by it, barely stumbled home to my apartment a few blocks away.

First concert was Jimi Hendrix on Maui, pretty cool as I didn't realize he played guitar with his teeth

Then on to Diamond Head for first crater concert with Steve Miller Band and through the mescaline haze I seem to recall seeing The Dead, Boz Scaggs, Country Joe, Santana and Traffic.

Saw Jim Morrison/Doors on Oahu the night he mooned the dude with the spotlight.

Then the 70s (moved to San Diego) brought Led Zeppelin, Elton John, the Stones, The Who, Elvis, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Robin Trower.
Moved to San Francisco in the 80s and switched to jazz and started listening to albums, then CDs.

Led Zep is my favorite

What a great show it was.
I will be in two shows on tv (In The Audience)
They say it will be from a week to six months before it's on tv.
I do think it will be fast because they are showing shows from Ct now on tv and they started in Aug.
I will give an update as soon as I hear more.
I have to call 1 203 564-1295 every Friday.This number tells you that date it will be aired.
Oh and I know I will be on tv because my Son asked one of the hoochies a question lol.
Jerry told one girl she looked like Queen Lativa.
And my Son asked LOL
"Queen Lativa can I put my Marshmallow in your Hot Chocolate"
And everyone said Give her a Kiss,Give her a kiss and they let him go on stage LOL
I laughed so hard I even cried in the whole show because it was too funny.
It was so much better than watching it on tv.
