Hey guys, new member here.
A few months ago, my friend and I started gambling for fun and signed up to an online casino (Mystake) because we saw it had good reviews. The first time we played, it was his birthday, so I gave him $10 to bet with (using my card).
Since then, he’s deposited money from his own card and now has over $2,000 in his account. He tried to withdraw, but the casino is asking him to verify my card (the one I used initially) by emailing them the front and back (they say we can hide the middle numbers for safety). No matter which withdrawal option he chooses, they insist on verifying that card.
I also tried to withdraw from my own account, but I got the same message asking for the same card verification.
My friend explained to them that the card belongs to me and that I also used it on my account. The casino replied that using the same card on multiple accounts violates their terms, and therefore they can’t proceed any further.
So… are we basically screwed?
Thanks!
