I like to know the experiences of anyone who played the New Jersey online casinos and is not a resident of New Jersey. Where and how did you access the online casino(s)?

In New Jersey at the Tropicana casino on my laptop. Was kind of wiered..many different games than in the casino.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but if your not a New Jersey Resident, you can't gain access to the casino. Are you asking how to circumnavigate the casino's security to gain access, so you can check-out the casino games, from another location, other than New Jersey?

Noooooooo. Non-residents can play the New Jersey online casinos if they are *within* the New Jersey borders. The online casinos use geo-location software to determine if you are inside New Jersey if you are trying to play real money games. FYI, anyone in United States can play the New Jersey casinos in PLAY money mode but not in real money mode.

The Tropicana is my favorite Atlantic City casino and so far I like their online casino the best. It is non-download and easy to use. So how did you set your laptop up? Did you play in a hotel room there using an internet hookup or WiFi? Or did you sit for hours in the buffet (or elsewhere) using WiFi? How was the connection?

I was down at the tropicana this past weekend. I played in their casino, not online. Unfortunately lost a ton of money as their slots were the tightest I've ever seen in any ac casino. They send all kind of offers to me for rooms, gift cards, toaster ovens, etc. But for now on i'd only stay there but never play there.

I played in my room. Got bored with the slots downstairs and logged intot the online slots. I did make a deposit and it was pretty much fun. Got home to check my balance and loggedin and was told I could not play because I was outside of perimeters (totally forgot not to do this) and was forced to withdraw all my money! I go a few times a month so I enjoy playing and usually leave my funds in to collect from the cashier cage when down in funds. Very easy.

So you go to your hotel room to play. How do you connect? Is it WiFi or a cable internet connection? Do you pay extra to use internet?

They sent an ACH to my bank account. Said I can only play within the state and funds need to e withdrawn when leaving the state since I was not a resident.
Was trying to save it for my next trip. Won't do that again...(log in while out of state even if I have funds waiting until I hit the casino again)

How do i get to 'PLAY' money mode? Is it like "fun" mode and it's different from real money mode?
I am not from NJ and hope that I can play for fun but it won't load the game.

'PLAY MONEY' mode is the same as play for fun mode, not for real money. You may have to register an account first but if you can't get one particular casino to work for you try a different one. You should be able to find the URL's for all of them with a simple web search.

You can try www.tropicanacasino.com and click on "Casino". There you can choose a game to play and just click on "Demo"

If Virginia doesn't go into a pact with New Jersey and/or Delaware, I wish Delaware and/or Maryland make a pact with New Jersey so I won't have to travel so far just to play New Jersey online casinos. Delaware's online casinos isn't quite as smooth has New Jersey casinos are.
